    One of the most overrated games of all time. I was only 1.5 hours in before I decided to return it (for PC, Steam). Not exactly sure why there was so much hype. It's essentially like an early 2000's game with 2020's graphics. Narrative-wise... well there isn't really one. Combat-wise... well it's just the exact same, dated combat system from Dark Souls.     This is easily the worst From Soft game ever made. Played through this game entirely feeling as though it was the end of From Software making good games. Where do I even start, the game will either overpower you in certain areas, or be under-powered compared to the areas you may have previously traversed. The would feels lazily made with many rehash enemies and bosses from previous areasThis is easily the worst From Soft game ever made.     No balance. Some of the mechanics are simply clunky. Neither aesthetics, nor balance, fights, story and this huge empty world

    Really annoying mechanics. I love a good challenge and loved Dark Souls but when a game resorts to **** and sneaky tricks to beat the player, that's when it loses me. It's hard but in a more frustrating and hollow way than in a fun and practical way. Not a horrible game by any means but if you don't have the endless hours to grind or pour in the time to get really good, I wouldn't botherReally annoying mechanics.     This game sucks this is just a copy of Elder Scrolls series they could have at least be original with their game do not recommend buying this for you your son or any of your family including your grandma but your grandma will probably die if she sees this game

    This game is a complete and utter disaster, failure, stinky **** of a game. If one of my friends says that his favourite game is this i would hire a hitman to kill them because they don’t deserve to live anymore.

    Would rate it lower if I could. 0 storyline. Bosses are all the same. Yet another copy and paste game like the rest of fromsoft. Trash.

    No animation canceling making the game feel clunky as your not able to tell your character what to do as its stuck in a 2s animation you can’t get out of in the middle of a fight
    Roll animation and roll negation damaged are not synced as you will take hits within your roll animation constantly. Little support for PC controls PC performance bugs, such as game freezing up and not    Cons:

    Cutscenes are awkward as they are stuck behind cutting in and out of black screens and changing camera perspective
    Little explanation for the game and the mechanics, it didn’t tell me the imperative detail of progression being leveling up until I had played for almost 4 hours
    Insufficient explanation of core game design decisions and mechanics that the developers left to hope the players would just spend hours without this knowledge until they figured it out
    Lack of early game narrative gives your character a lack of purpose as your just running around a world you know nothing about and don’t care about to kill enemies you know nothing about and care nothing about
    It’s hard to call a game like this an “RPG” because RPGs usually have good immersion however the immersion is broken with this game once you get a loading screen and are teleported away every time you die, which happens a lot by design with this game
    Enemies always respawning also breaks immersion and makes you clearing an area feel unrewarding

    Overall this game is a **** fest where you spawn in with no purpose and are tasked with killing enemies that attack quicker than half your attacks, attack animation duration(something you can’t cancel). Who also hit you during your roll animation(not synced to negation bad game design) making the core draw of this game the combat a poor experience.

    Elden Ring foi uma experiência bem meme desde o seu lançamento. Joguei no PC e o desempenho estava péssimo, nos consoles em alguns casos não foi muito diferente. O jogo não me prendeu em nada, um mundo aberto bem genérico e preguiçoso.

    Despite some annoying performance issues, Elden Ring is a masterpiece. The combat, enemy variety, exploration, music, and open world are top notch. I’ve been playing it daily across all platforms alongside other games all month, and look forward to doing that all year as I try new builds, help friends, and try to do everything I want in this triumph of a video game.

    Elden Ring rewards your curiosity in many ways, be it items, runes or a pathway to another area, but mostly it’s a story to tell your friends when you are sharing tales around the bonfire. It does not force feed tutorials down your throat, but instead it leans far the opposite way by not telling you much at all and lets you explore and find things out on your own. There is no true quest log, no points of interest on a map or no arrows pointing you in the right direction, so there is a good chance you’ll miss some of the best caves and areas of the game. Because of all of this, Elden Ring is forcing me to find all of that out on my own and it is one of the most rewarding games I have ever played. I will continue to explore the Land Between for many hours to come. I’m just not in a hurry.

    Elden Ring manages to draw the player into a fascinating world for many hours, with refined gameplay that fits perfectly with the freedom granted to the player. A sumptuous but imperfect work, which fails to completely overcome some of the historical flaws of Hidetaka Miyazaki's productions. Flaws that, however, can't diminish the scope of a masterpiece destined to leave an indelible mark on the videogame world and to set new standards for the souls-like and open-world genres.
