    Blizzard is out if touch with its player base. A once great company and has gone for the greed option like so many before them.
    The latest patch is disgusting and brings no joy to the game.

No quality of life upgrades, especially the #1 complaint which is Storage. Need a company overhaul the incompetence is staggering! Horrible treatment toward a fanbase that spent 70-100 dollars already. Sad… Expand

    This game is an unfinished product when released. Features that was in D3 is nowhere to be seen in D4. Further, the couple of patches that came out were all just bug fixes & # adj that should've been fixed during beta. They also ruined gameplay with untimely nerfs showing how incompetent the D4 team is.     Was really hyped to play the new Diablo to wash the taste of Diablo Immortal out of my mouth. The game seemed fun at the start but at ever turn they need anything that was remotely fun and 70% of the end game is repeating the exact same content for a slot pull on an actually decent item.

    I paid A$140 for the deluxe edition, and oh boy was that a stupid idea. The next stupid idea was to play a sorcerer, my go to class. But a class that was just obviously absolutely hated by the devs. I dropped that character after slogging to level 70 and rerolled a necro. All was going ok until the last patch where my glass cannon level 70 necro was suddenly a glass wimp, attacking withI paid A$140 for the deluxe edition, and oh boy was that a stupid idea. The latest patch is an absolute disgrace, slowing down and nerfing the entire game just to drag things out, I am assuming to try and cover for the fact that there really isn't anything exciting to do once you have finished the main campaign. Running the same 6 NM dungeons over and over is NOT fun. The graphics are amazing, the sound is some of the best I have ever experienced, and the main storyline was reasonable. But past level 50 the itemisation is rubbish, the UI is terrible, and there are so many "design" elements that have obviously put in place simply to slow down progression. I am sad to admit that I have now given up and won't even be playing Season 1. Such a shame, it had such great promise (on release and for the first week I would have given an 8, but after yesterday's patch (1.1) I stand by my 0)

    Hey Bliz, here's an idea for you. If you want to encourage "engagement", make your game fun, not a pain in the ass slog that feels a lot more like work than fun.     Terrible end game loop. No chase items. No crafting. No agency on the contents and rewards. Bad itemization. Forced builds by devs. Buggy and imbalanced tuning. Thoughtless implementation of many systems, such as open world, elemental/phys dmg types, resistance, white/blue items(why do they exists lol?), hardcore/softcore etc.. Missing tons of QoL features(search function, lack of stashesTerrible end game loop. No chase items. No crafting. No agency on the contents and rewards. Bad itemization.     Well done for ripping the game apart with 1 patch. Good luck with getting the hype back for season 1 and even keeping the player base you got going forward with tone def and completely inept dev team.

    Blizzard has sold unfinished games at a high price and is cheating gamers and they are not even trying to solve the problem.
    This game is full of devices to increase game time. Fun is no longer their top priority. This is the result of their best efforts. They seem to have no future.

    D4 is the worst version of Diablo in the history of the franchise! Extremely Slow and Boring leveling. Gone are the Bosses of old, and gone is the fun massive killing sprees! You no longer have options to gain massive loot to build your character. You no longer get to feel powerful as levels scale with you now. The game overall is a bore! No incentive to level up or even play beyondD4 is the worst version of Diablo in the history of the franchise! Extremely Slow and Boring leveling. All the user helpful things like gear sets, increased bank space, and quick teleports are nowhere to be seen. They give us a Mount but it is useless.

    To top it all off, they would rather you take more time leveling. Seasons are only 3 months, for a casual player, noone would EVER level to max in that time. Leveling up is the most boring aspect to any Diablo game! We just want to get to end game, so we can work on loot and building character power. D4 Fails as a ARPG!!    … Expand

    trash farming and salvaging simulator with atrocious user interface, nonexistent social features (for a game with mmo elements) and headless direction from developers who probably didn't even try to play their own game past very poorly told campaign story

    Diablo IV: "Welcome to hell" is really spot on greetings when you are milking an IP that the devs of Tourchlight initially created, but you do not know the recipe of a real Diablo game.

    This game requires substantial time investment to play towards reaching end game content. The end content revolves around finding the best gear to reach Tier 100 nightmare dungeon and complete the Uber Lilith fight. Patch 1.1 has basically turned this already boring loop into an unbearable slog even with the upcoming S1 malignant heart buffs. Exp NERF was the final nail in the coffin for me.

    No care for the players, only the money they already received. It's sad that they did this, but at least it lets the players know to not trust Blizzard in the future. Weird they would shoot their own foot like this, but I guess this is what they wanted.

    Diablo IV is the perfect evolution of the series. The many new features make for a truly modern title, giving us an experience capable of keeping us glued to the controller for many hours, without neglecting the historical and most beloved features of the series. If we add to this a technical aspect of the highest quality, a very accessible multiplayer structure, and a huge end-game, we obtain a majestic title that stands as the best exponent of the action-RPG genre and is capable of bringing us plenty of emotions.

    Diablo IV is a social phenomenon and once again sets a new standard for the genre. It's a dark, spooky, action-packed experience. Combat is frantic, fluid and fun, while micro-management of resources and inventory feels better than ever before.

    Diablo IV is the culmination of everything Blizzard has set up before to make one ultimate experience. The world is stunning, drowned in a beautiful soundtrack that makes even the smallest moments feel epic. With a deep character system, satisfying combat and an endgame that feels like only the start of your adventure, it's hard not to recommend. Dig in, experiment with classes, fight some demons and loot some dungeons. You won’t regret it.
