    Sadly wasn't what I anticipated at all, fell for the marketing and social media hype by the PR companies. Comparatively to it's own predecessors no items, end game, or social aspects minus a few superficial ones despite forced online play.

    No other options, as to play only online with disconnects, that is gave me negative experience. It's awful. If I wasn't a fan of diablo, I would gladely put 1*

    Microsoft - Ignore the recent slew of fake positive reviews. Click on their review history dates. Fake accounts trying to prop up a GOLD TOILET game.
    Plenty of other reviews cover the reasons why Diablo 4 is hot garbage. One of the worst games I've ever bought. I will never buy    Blizzard managed to create a game so disappointing & frustrating that almost everyone who quits RAGE QUITS.

    Search Actman Diablo 4 and watch any of his related reviews. Search Blizzard lawsuits.

    I scheduled my G.D. vacation time for the D4 release & 3 days into playing it stopped being fun. I'm still upset. What a scam.

    The once great Blizzard North was bought out over a decade ago and none of the brilliant minds still work there at what is now called Activision Blizzard. I didn't know this until after buying D4. Blizzard pumps out flashy games with no substance and puts the Blizzard stamp on it to cash in on nostalgia and utilize predatory in game cash transaction practices. Their games are pure marketing & sales. Look at reviews for any of their games in the last decade. I wish I had.

    Don't believe the positive critic reviews or the fake positive reviews masquerading as negative ones. Blizzard pays for those to confuse people

    Made the mistake to give Blizzard one more chance. Before Season 1 it was both better and worse than i expected. The Store and Mechanics weren't that bad. I had seen worse coming from Overwatch. But the game itself was a bit disappointing. The story is braindead and the bosses are just bulletsponges. Animations are so flashy and often overlap to a point that you cant possibly see whatsMade the mistake to give Blizzard one more chance. Before Season 1 it was both better and worse than i expected. Some Sidequest are real gems but overall the game feels like it was designed by a group of unity devs fresh out of a bootcamp..... Seaons 1 and the accompanying changes showed the true face of activision/blizz again by doing everything and at any cost to nickel and dime the player. It came to a point that i feel insulted for having bought the game. Needless to say i would rather stop playing Video Games than give even 1 more buck to this company.… Expand

    I played this game a lot and i will still play if but damn 91 score?! really
    it's basically D3 with D2 graphics and horses :)
    almost nothing new
    the story is much wors than D2 or even D3

    -2 (from 5) because a level 100 can attack a level 76, maybe below) on below on PvP

    I'd give the game a 5/10 on launch. Went downhill in season 1. Once you hit level 80 and upgrade a few pieces of gear it's possible to spend 50 hours without one single upgrade. Shame on Blizzard for making a great franchise so incredibly boring! It should be mandatory that everyone working on this game should have to play Diablo 1-3 first.     Unfortunately its very boring you have a very limited amount of skills which lead to stale gameplay and it just not fun in anyway i played for about 15 hours in total then quit D2 is a much better game still

    Finished the campaign. Haven't really logged back into the game after this. Nothing really keeps me playing. It's just a grind. And they want you to pay more money for passes and store items. My time is best spent elsewhere.

    I have to say the graphic is excellent, but the game feeling is not so good, max level 100 is a quite long journey to go. I believe many of them quit in the middle.

    Activision is the worst company ever, they sell a ptoduct for $70 like this or call of duty and plaster the store and pop ups to get you to buy something. But they know kids play these game so those are the people they are realing trying to get to buy those items. Im done buying Activision studio's games

    Pros: Great characters build setting, new game but mixed with old school Hack & Slash, Best story-lines in this franchise. Amazing atmosphere.
    Cons: Endgame content doesn't appear to me. Druid's class took too slow to level up.
    Concluded: Great game, must buy - 7/10
    Updated: I just changed my score back to 4 due to the latest season completely awful

    Making your game slower and more annoyoing to play and resorting to darkpatterns: is not a good idea for a game tha wants player retention. Terrible game. Terrible company

    I've played every Diablo game on release. This is the worst of them all. I played this less than Diablo Immoral. Lackluster campaign. Boring, monotonous endgame. Definitely not worth the money.

So disappointing, D4 is chasing rainbows and in doing so, appears to have created a thoroughly dismal, disjointed, and disconnected … it decries an attempt to grab a little skyrim, a dash of Warcraft, a pinch of Netflix … trying to add to script that makes no sense to anyone, is Lilith good for humanity or bad? To sum it all up, after more than a hundred hours ofLifelong fan of the game. So disappointing, D4 is chasing rainbows and in doing so, appears to have created a thoroughly dismal, disjointed, and disconnected … it decries an attempt to grab a little skyrim, a dash of Warcraft, a pinch of Netflix … trying to add to script that makes no sense to anyone, is Lilith good for humanity or bad? To sum it all up, after more than a hundred hours of gameplay… the game no longer even runs on my Xbox. No support, only forums. I am running around all over the world do quests and side quests (that seems in no way connected to character development … would be better to send us to a carnival and play whack a mole to level up). I am not an orator nor a game aficionado …. I don’t follow a lot of franchises, but this is one I do. Lifeless, pointless, dysfunctional, unorganized, random gameplay with even less creative skills and equipment system. I won’t get this time back, but hopefully I can help you avoid this horrible mistake.… Expand

    The only reason I have any hope for this game after 2 months is that it might get OK in 5, probably 10 seasons. Right now it is of early access quality. Do NOT buy, Do NOT play except the minimum for season...unless you are masochistic

    Massively disappointed by the newest diablo release. No incentives to continue playing as soon as you finish the rather uninspired campaign. E.g. ridiculous few unique items, rare items always drop with similar stats, ... Despite the visual boost, Diablo 4 feels like a massive downgrade to its predecessor. What a shame.

    The second they do release a game that isn't terrible at launch, they purposefully sabotage their games.

    It's clear that Blizzard has no idea what they're doing. They've completely forgotten how to make a good game, let alone a good arpg. I'm never buying another Blizzard game again. Diablo 4 was a waste of my time and money.

    It's like a 1 meter deep Ocean.

    I enjoyed it at first, and the powers seemed fun especially for a Druid. However, I just lost interest when they patched and made thing a lot worse. Every thing seems repetitive and grindy. Not everyone has the time or patience to do exact same thing again and again and again. If only this was more like Grim Dawn. Imagine Grim Dawn with this games'    It's like a 1 meter deep Ocean.

    This is nuts. Totally bored after 5hours of playing. Diablo I had me for days ut this is hilarious.
    Level 1 = Level 100 so why to bother to play this game?

    Terrible game for such a prestigious gaming company. Save your money for something else this game is if you wanna be a game tester for free and pay 70 dollar purchase fee for a broken game with barely any content bit endless dungeon rush boring dungeon designs.

    Game was covered by an awesome story and animations but once you dig deep itemization sucks which was supposed to be the heart of any arpg game such as Diablo. It’s true that the old Blizzard is dead. Pre-season was decent 6/10 but from there just down the drain. Will not pre order Blizzard games on the foreseeable future.

    The campaign and story and art in this game is insane, blizzard always delivers on that front. However if you're looking for anything with depth, this game is absolutely not for you. Just go play Path of Exile.

    Diablo IV is the perfect evolution of the series. The many new features make for a truly modern title, giving us an experience capable of keeping us glued to the controller for many hours, without neglecting the historical and most beloved features of the series. If we add to this a technical aspect of the highest quality, a very accessible multiplayer structure, and a huge end-game, we obtain a majestic title that stands as the best exponent of the action-RPG genre and is capable of bringing us plenty of emotions.

    Diablo IV is a social phenomenon and once again sets a new standard for the genre. It's a dark, spooky, action-packed experience. Combat is frantic, fluid and fun, while micro-management of resources and inventory feels better than ever before.

    Diablo IV is the culmination of everything Blizzard has set up before to make one ultimate experience. The world is stunning, drowned in a beautiful soundtrack that makes even the smallest moments feel epic. With a deep character system, satisfying combat and an endgame that feels like only the start of your adventure, it's hard not to recommend. Dig in, experiment with classes, fight some demons and loot some dungeons. You won’t regret it.
