    Acid Nerve has done an incredible job with this Zelda and Metroidvania inspired isometric action adventure game.

    The game's art-style, soundtrack, story, gameplay...everything is just top tier. Cannot recommend it enough!

    Probably the the most fun I’ve ever had playing an indie game. The music was amazing, combat, art style and the story kept me entertained till the end.

    Really beautifully crafted game. Unfortunately, a quasi-philosophical story and "one trick pony" boss fights make it a forgetful experience

    Bel gioco, che mixa esplorazione e combattimenti con uno stile grafico originale in visuale isometrica.
    Non eccessivamente lungo, giocabilità elevata e buon livello di sfida. Piacevole per tutta la sua durata.

    The game is fabulous but the endgame has some problems. After the main campaign is complete, you have the task to collect some key objects, but the game iventory does not keep track of them, you also need to plant all seeds in the game, which was a big chore without QoL tools other than the glowing object in the menu (which could be brought to the HUD instead).     做得挺好的一个游戏，后期没有加血，容错率太低，雪人和最终boss处都死了几十遍才过。
    在网上看了下，原来还有敲钟，可到中后期觉得有些重复，不想玩了就迅速通关了。

    Sehr gutes, knackiges (trotzdem nicht zu schwer) Oldschool-like Spiel. Man kann so oft sterben wie man will, Gegner sind dann immer wieder da, man verliert aber den Fortschritt dabei nicht. Also KEIN Souls-like! Grafik ist nicht überragend, überzeugt aber mit seinem Stil und der Isoperspektive

    Fantastic game Fantastic music. amazing gameplay fluid easy to learn. bosses are amazing design hard but fair. plenty of upgrade to find new weapon and collectibles. story is fun deep but funny at the right moment

    Best indie game of 2021. Now is on game pass but I have bought and played few days after premiere. I have spent nearly 20hours cause I really love this game. I want to try some other games this studio.

    Esse é o tipo de jogo que faz com quem o menosprezar devido ao visual simplório, ou a facilidade do início passar raiva no desenrolar da campanha. Tem uma história muito boa e jogabilidade viciante, é um belo jogo.

    Decent game. Liked it, but did not love it. Plays very similar to old school action platformers, with interesting theme and a cool art-style. It has overly simple combat but has a decent challenge. Lack of mini-map is frustrating, as getting lost and running in circles in this world is not enticing enough.     Brilliant game. The core gameplay is perfectly balanced. A little tough but always fair, you learn and come back and do better next time, yet it never gets frustrating. Add to that wonderful artistry, level design, soundtrack and more and this is one you don't want to sleep on. My game of 2021

    Loads of fun. Crow killing monsters with a lightsaber lookalike weapon, what more could you want? Fairly simple mechanics. There are skills to level up, weapons and power ups to find. It is a bit metroidy. As you play through the game you get more weapons/magic/skills and can open up new paths to get to areas previously locked off.     I liked the aesthetic and music but the combat is what ruined the game for me, its just so simplistic and uninspired. Just the same ol dodge hit, dodge hit strategy for everything with no variation other than ranged attacks which do so little damage that they're worthless.     I know morons are quick to jump to the "hey look only TWO people made this" excuse but that really has no bearing on the quality of the game which is mediocre at best. I would not pay for this game outside of gamepass, there are simply too many games that do this concept better like Bastion and Hades just to name a few.    … Expand

    Comptez une dizaine d'heures pour finir le jeu à 100% (c'est à dire avec la vrai fin).

    over rated game riping off hyper light drifterr and fury which is sad also gameplay is repetitive and boring if this was not on game pass i would not have tried it

    I just realized I didn’t review this game. I’ll keep it short and simple. Deaths Door is a phenomenal game and a potential GOTY winner.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. All three bosses are both comically and critically sound. The story is about death, something we all experience or have experienced, and the musical score is breathtaking but subtle. It feels like a link to the past. It also feels “better”.

    Death's door is a game that was envisioned, developed and executed very well. It's one of the rare games where everything a game can excel at comes together to create a perfect 10/10 game. Let's talk in more depth about different things justifying why this game deserves a perfect score.

    Audio: The audio of this game deserves a special applaud. The music is so soothing and calm. The    Death's door is a game that was envisioned, developed and executed very well. It's one of the rare games where everything a game can excel at comes together to create a perfect 10/10 game. Let's talk in more depth about different things justifying why this game deserves a perfect score.

    Audio: The audio of this game deserves a special applaud. The music is so soothing and calm. The music selection and the instruments that are played in the background are amazing.

    Ray tracing: Death's door ray tracing is implemented so well! Although this is more like a 2d platformer rather than a AAA game like resident evil, there were times where the ray tracing was so good that I had to stop for a moment to take a screenshot.

    Level Design: The level design is spectacular with great attention to details in the levels. Even when an enemy dies, the faces make a very interesting face like a meme face. Loved that detail. Loved the concept of short cuts so that you don't need to traverse the entire level again. Oh, and why do I feel like mentioning dark souls here for moment, this game is filled with secret doors/paths sort of similar to dark souls for which you need to keep coming back to the previous levels after you got better upgrades.

    Dialogue delivery: Most of the games miss this and don't understand how important it is to have a good dialogue delivery. Sony understood this and it kind of made their exclusives so famous. Apart from Rift apart, Death's door has great dialogue delivery with great sense of humor.

    Bosses: The bosses are interesting and I loved the design of the second boss(the building boss). Bosses design feel fluid as it's running at 60fps. I cannot say more than this to avoid spoilers.

    Over all, Death's door excels at most of the aspects that make a game good and this game absolutely deserves a 10.    … Expand

    A great indie project, the creative success of developers in creating games. The game is super, it is very pleasant to pass, I also express my gratitude for the Russian subtitles

    This game is as charismatic as it gets , the gameplay is fun and doesn't punish you too much when you die , the art style is amazing and unique and the soundtrack is outstanding , it's the kind of game that you can play to relax , highly recommend

    Death Door is a nice surprise. Aesthetically very beautiful both in scenarios and in characters (which are also very charismatic). A story that at first seems to be simple but becomes very deep at the end of the game. Gameplay is not lacking and is very fluid.
