Assassin's Creed Valhalla has two big maps for exploring, sailing with your boat on rivers, nice story, good voice acting and decent combat. To me it's one of the best of 2020.

this is the worst assassins creed i've ever played, this saga is getting more boring by every game they drop, you can't play it more than 2 hours after you get bored, the graphics are disapointing and the story is the worst of everything

Same old crappy Bugisoft than the last 5 Assassins Creed, this is like the Ubisoft's Madden or FIFA.
If you played any older AC, you can skip this one.

Absolutely phenomenal and breath taking game. Runs gloriously on the series x and look amazing. However there is screen tearing if your tv/monitor does not support free sync. Hopefully that will be patched. But 40 hrs in and I can easily say this is my favorite In the franchise. I’ll gladly play another 40 more without batting an eye.

Surprisingly good Assassin's Creed game, not only better than Odyssey, but it's just so much better. But it's pretty obvious that tons of people don't understand the appeal of Snowy Norway or Beautiful England and just call it boring. That's a shame, but whatever. To me 5 hours long Spiderman Miles Morales is boring, so to each their own i guess.

The game is not filled with copy&paste quests that require you to travel to the other side of the map. Side quests actually vary and are more creative. Combat is more engaging than in Odyssey. Parkour finally requires a bit of thought. Basically this game is what Odyssey failed to be and Origins tried to be. Stealth mechanics returned and some new ones have been added like sliding on ground that you can perform to quickly escape and hide again. Ubisoft has put effort into story cutscenes and more is happening on screen. This is almost pefect AC. Only missing big cities to perform smooth parkour :) Expand

Assassin's Creed has millions of fans around the world and AC Valhalla had one of the biggest Ubisoft game launches EVER. And while many who like this game keep playing it and never really visit sites like this, metacritic attracts haters who very often don't even have particular game, just to give low scores, because it's so easy here. Any, absolutely any loser can make metacritic account with 3 minutes and give 0 score and that will affect overall score, it shouldn't be like that, but it is. For example yesterday one person made over 8 accounts in 20 minutes and gave 0's to this game, because his version was censored or whatever. His comments and scores are still on this site, that's how easy it is to manipulate that user score. Expand

    Negatives:
    1. Like usual with Ubisoft games, performance could be better, but this
launch is about 300 times better than RDR2 PC version launch (and Rockstar had whole years for that).
    2. Some bugs as expected with huge open world games, but nothing awful.
    3. Is it just me or water seems kinda empty? Maybe i just haven't explored enough idk, i was expecting giant squids, Odyssey had whales, so why not.
Conclusion: One of the most beautiful and fun games i have played in long time.

The Odin Site isn't as good as in the past. You can't mark enemies at least I haven't been able to yet. Took a giant step back from Odyssey. People didn't like the story and endless fluff in that game but the combat was great. Story needed some work though. You should have taken the idea of AC games, the assassinations, the parlour etc but took odyssey and built upon it. Not take Black Flag. I honestly think the combat is a step back from Origins and that combat was bland and terrible. Hit them, if they have A shield use the other button, heavier attack. N Expand

Assassin Creed Ballala is the most terrible game I've ever played. lag, the error is too bad.
Even the best graphics cards have lag, error.
The story is not funny either.
    Subquest only increased the number.
The action is boring and I fall asleep.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. AC Valhalla is great!
Ubisoft constructed a beautiful Open World and it looked absolutely beautiful on my One X and Series X. The Story was pretty good, the beginning especially was really well done. The Character Customization is way better than in Origins and Odyssey and there are a lot of Customizable's! I liked the Combat of the Game, but it kinda lacked the Chaos which we had in Odyssey. We also can now dual wield weapons, which is a fine addition ( including shields)! The Skill Tree was massive in Valhalla and I had fun checking out the many skills it had to offer, i especially liked the one where we can send our wolf to attack enemies! The Raiding was by far the most fun part( alongside the exploration) and the most rewarding one. But this game also might be the most unpolished entry after AC Unity to the series, I encountered bugs on Series X and One X, and some crashes on my One X. But at the end of the road, these issues were nothing compared to the fun I had with AC Valhalla!

Verdict: 10/10. While this Game might be one of the most unpolished entries into AC, this also is an awesome Viking Adventure I recommend to everyone! I

Boring Sidequest ( deliver boxes from a to b), Bugs ( missions stuck, Charakter didn't move at some point, graphic Pop ups).
Another bland ubisoft open world game with only a handful of "ok" story missions. Mostly just right without any possibility to do Missions in stealth

They really should call it Assassins creed odyssey part 2 they really need to focus on the facial expressions they don’t have emotions why you have the biggest open world when you can’t do it right I would like to have smaller world with good story telling and better facial expressions

Why Metacritic allows reviews with zero scores from people who clearly don't even have this game, makes absolutely no sense. But whatever i guess. This game is amazing anyway.

Really surprised Ubisoft managed to make this. I mean they have had hits before, but after 2019 flop i kinda lost hope, seems i was too quick to judge. AC Valhalla is at least 100 hour game with tons of good content, locations, enemies etc. Story is also surprisingly good, specially if compared to Odyssey.

AC Valhalla almost feels like "Thank You" letter from Ubisoft to all their fans that have supported them past 7 years. It's truly amazing game and there's nothing more that pisses me off than these absolute nolife losers who gives zeros without even caring about this series or buying it. I wish all the worst in your lives.

Best Ubisoft game they have made in 4 years, truly impressive stuff. To whoever says that
it's boring, i'm sure you will find your fun in Marvel's Avengers, leave good games to people who actually know how to enjoy them. This is literally perfect game to spend my time on until Cyberpunk comes out.

I have bought so many games this year, mostly because there was nothing to do thanks to quarantine. I bought Tony Hawk 1+2 remake, i bought Ghost of Tsushima, i bought 2018 spider-man (it's amazing btw), i refused to buy last of us 2 because how they lied to their fans, that was disgusting. But overall of all these games i have bought this year, i have enjoyed AC Valhalla most.

This game is one of the better comebacks i have seen in years. Odyssey had the graphics, but story was weak and voice acting was meh. This one has everything and more. Voice acting is perfect, music is just amazing, i could literally hours meditate for that main menu theme. Graphically it takes things further than ever. Some locations look just amazing. Performance is actually pretty good, it's obvious that it wont have best ever performance on 2013 consoles, but it still very much playable and on PC it's good enough to get 60-70fps if you have up to date graphics card. Ubisoft is obviously going to patch it to get performance even better. Highly recommending this one. Expand

Best Ac game since Black Flag. Incredible open world, actually two of them, because Norway and England are on separated maps. So much to discover, story is really enjoyable so far, voice acting for main character is perfect. Can't believe they will add Ireland later as well, not like it's huge world already, but i'm not complaining. More of this Ubisoft, more of this.

From November lineup this is very clear winner. Miles Morales is fine second place, but it's just too basic for my taste. I need something deeper and AC Valhalla is exactly that.

So much better than Odyssey and not only that, it's actually great game. Might even be in my top 3 of 2020. This one feels like the actually cared and really crafted it out. There's no random stuff anymore, everything matters and voice acting is better than ever. Story is nice, graphics are amazing, parkour is still best in Unity, but they get very close. It's funny to see all these zeros from these fake accounts who don't even own the game. I'm sure real Assassin's Creed fans will come out of shadows to support this one, because it truly deserves it. It's one of the best in the whole series.

I'm almost shocked how well Ubisoft delivered with this one. 2019 was awful for them, so i wasn't expecting much, but Valhalla so good. There's so much to do, voice acting is great, story is great, graphics are amazing. It's going to be something i'm gonna play until cyberpunk comes out. There's not much else anyway. Not interested at all in spiderman dlc.

It is highly satisfying completing a story arc or traversing the world and finding things that you felt that other players might not have stumbled across due to the nature of the open world and its use of way finders. The lack of load times on Xbox Series S is truly impressive given the nature of environments, landscape, and elements that are present on screen. There were a few issues from characters floating in mid-air, bizarre enemy AI, and straight up freezes, although these were far and few between given the scope of it all. Intuitive and varied combat help keep things fresh, even if it does take a fair few hours of gameplay to really get going. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a thoroughly enjoyable, open-world RPG that is an absolute must for Xbox owners.

In many aspects Valhalla resembles most of Ubisoft’s games, but fortunately progression feels a lot more natural this time around. The game’s not perfect but I had lots of fun conquering new territories, plundering churches, and pillaging coastal villages while following a mature story and enjoying gorgeous, believable medieval Britain.
