    This game is very good, but i bet many people wont understand that, if they don't want to go deep with it. It's honestly sad to see that gaming landscape has become so weak and only boring and extremely simple games like spider-man: miles morales or demon's souls get attention, while games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla where you actually need to think get pushed aside.     Been fan of AC series for 5-6 years and this is one of the better games they have made. Odyssey has nothing on it. Would recommend.

    Why so many negative reviews? Yeah there are some bugs, but overall it's one of the best games i have played from 2020 lineup. Just cause you have some problems with game doesn't automatically mean you have to give it 0 okay? I'm planning to play this whole 2021, because Ireland dlc will add even more content.

    This game is full of bugs. Ubisoft is aware of this and it takes ages for them to come with a patch. I've paid for this game so I expect a complete game. Not some crap that's full of bugs and needs patches all the time. Thanks for **** everything up Ubisoft. Well done

    Been playing 40 hours and everything is good so far. I prefer absolutely every detail in this one over Odyssey. Big improvement!

    It's Assassin's Creed no more no less full stop with one big difference 60 frames per second full stop this alone makes it worse jumping in for yet another Assassin's Creed adventure everything you love will be here you know what it is.

    This game is absurdly buggy. Ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves for releasing it like this. Most of the side quests/"world events" don't work, the npcs and objects won't interact with you. There are copious softlocks in the main storyline. Disgraceful. I wouldn't buy this if I'd known it was so broken. I have to flag Ubisoft titles in the future now for quality checks.

    Solid Assassin's Creed game, other than meh performance at times and some bugs, i have nothing really bad to say. They should bring it to steam, then it would be way easier to review this game.

    This is one of the best ac ever made. History, gameplay, soundtrack, graphics are one of the best in the series. Odyssey didnt deserve to be an ac, valhalla deserves a lot. Just a little buggy

    From graphical standpoint this game is absolute masterclass, they really hit the nail with both Norway and England. This game's soundtrack is one of the most beautiful and relaxing soundtracks i have heard in long time in any video game. Combat is good, cities look interesting enough. There's many places to climb and parkour on. Overall very good.

    There's only four games from 2020 that i can say truly deserve to be nominated at "The Game Awards", these are : Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Doom Eternal, Half Life Alyx and Assassin's creed Valhalla. Tony Hawk 1+2 Remake was really nice, but come on, all in all it's not that revolutionary.

It just has huge world and that's the future of any game series and i personally like when there's more content, more places to go. Black Flag did EXACTLY the same in 2013 already. Rockstar has made all their GTA worlds bigger with each gameIt's very much an assassin's creed game, more than Odyssey ever could have been.     Reminds me black flag, parkour kinda feels like unity. Overall cities, buildings, norway, england, everything is just so well made. Gonna play this for very long time. Can't wait for Ireland dlc.

    Runs perfectly fine on my system, could use some patches, but still. Whoever gives this game score under 7, i don't even take them seriously as gamers. These are just sad angry people who don't know how to enjoy good things. They like to whine about everything and anything. This game is strong candidate for "The Game Awards" nomination.     Just chilling around in huge forests in England gives this mystical relaxing vibe and then the music, this games has absolutely amazing soundtrack. Yeah performance could be better, but it's still perfectly playable and runs better than RDR2 did on PC for 2 months. Overall it's very good.

    Ubisoft announced that AC Valhalla had massive launch, glad to see this game is doing well.
    I'm honestly really liking it so far, there's so much to do and explore, story is nice, hood is back, one hit assassination's are back. Easily best game of November 2020.

Не может толком работать на видеокарте 2080Ti. потом про механики они жутко лаганые приходиться ждать на нпс по минуте, а то и 2 пока нпс додумается враги не лучше видят сквозь стены и просто могут лагать.     El juego es maravilloso, nada que ver con el origins o el oddysey. Lo que más me está llamando la atención es su historia, volvemos a templarios y asesinos. Me gusta mucho el empeño que le pusieron en el apartado gráfico, mejora mucho en animaciones, el mapa es hermoso y la jugabilidad es bastante buena.     Terrible game! I have played every AC game and loved most of them. Sure, Odyssey had some issues but I've played it on every level and still go back to it. I'm 20 hrs in and never want to touch this steaming pile again. I didn't come to play Witcher or build a village, you've taken away my assassin abilities, takes forever to level up and I don't want to have to forage for berries to stayTerrible game!     I thought they don't make good games anymore?? Apparently i was wrong, this game made me speechless when i first booted it up. Voice acting, story, open world, graphics, different cities and hidden locations. This game might have best looking water i have seen in any video game ever, because it's kinda my hobby to compare different game's water effects and this one is just absolute top tier.

    Amazing soundtrack, i could literally meditate to that main menu music, so well done.
    If you hate this game, maybe just give up gaming or something, find new hobby, because you clearly aren't able to enjoy greatness. If it's not your style or whatever, that's fine, Assassin's Creed was never "game for everyone", but just hating it shows how pathetic you are.

    This game is incredible! Even just small details how insanely beautiful water looks when sun sets in England or Ice caves in Norway. There's so much to do and explore. But this game is very clearly not for people who just wanna finish quick game and move on to next one. I think everyone should know that at this point.

    Highly recommending this one, if you have ever even slightly liked AC games. Hidden blade is back, you can remove your hood at any moment or wear it if you want. Both England and Norway looks incredible. There's so many places to climb and parkour. Graphics are also 10/10.

On a 3700X and a 2080 super this is a clunky mess, combat is as awful as its ever been, weightless but slow, sometimes weapons just go through people & nothing happens. Parrying is the same thing. You can land a successful parry, sound is there, its just ignored, ohh... they added some dismemberment and gore, a dressed up turd is still a turd. Runs like crap on PC, during a raid, you'll find NPCs just standing around doing nothing. The world doesn't look bad, but not great, its not an amazing looking game, character models look dated, horses look awful. There were better playing, looking, and running games, 8 years ago, don't waste your money… Expand

    My god this game looks beautiful, story missions are pretty fun so far, but main standout here is open world (2 of them) that Ubisoft has created. This game might be their best map (or should i say maps) they have ever made in any of their games. Really cool world full of mystery and wonder.

I loved the stealth, the assassinations, the things that made it "Assassin's Creed". After the dissapointment that was Odyssey, I was thrilled that Valhalla would once again be in the more than capable hands of Ubisoft Montreal. With the writing team that made classics like AC Revelations and AC 4. Not only was the writing going to be fantastic, but Ubisoft Montreal had brought back the one and only Jesper Kyd, the man who wrote the music for all the AC games up until Revelations. In hyping myself up through the development I was constantly reminding myself that this would be a love letter to not just what AC had become, but what Assassin's Creed was. And I got the game, and I played it, and I was happy. A lot of people are complaining about a lack of Assassin's Creed elements, and I have to ask if we were playing the same game. If u want AC elements you have the option to stealth almost everything, even raids, social stealth is back. This game doesn't outright tell you to use these old AC elements, it's completely up to the player. So therefore it doesn't really make much sense to rate a game, because of your personal play style. You (the player), determines the amount of "AC elements" that you want in your game. The game gives you the elements, from hidden ones bureaus to planned assassinations, and it's completely up to the player to determine whether or not they want to use them. The writing is fantastic, even the mythological sections (which I greatly despised in Odyssey) felt like they had a point here. Everything you do moves the plot forward, from the normal world events, to main quests everything advances the plot. Darby wrote something truly special here, and while there are reviews talking about how grating the game can be after a couple hours, I found that upping the difficulty or switching out weapons always gave a welcome change of pace to the game no matter where I was in it. The music is absolutely fantastic, and genuinely might be one of my favorite tracks in any AC game. Gameplay isn't always fun and engaging, and I will admit there is a bit of jank. But it is gameplay that feels better than it looks. I think I've covered the 3 most important bases in any game: Story, Gameplay, and Music. Now to the negatives, this is a Ubisoft game, and I hold all blame towards the parent company of Ubisoft, not the subsidiary Ubisoft Montreal. Ubisoft tends to push out games earlier than they should so that they can make a quick profit, and I hate it. This game looks great, but I know that if Montreal had been given a couple more months they coulda turned out something like RDR2. The game is buggy, given a couple more months, these problems could've been solved. The combat is janky, given a couple more months it could've been better. The mocap looks a little bit off in certain places, given a couple more months this would've been solved. I think you know what I'm getting at. It's a game that's so close to being everything that I wanted it to be, but is held back by Ubisoft, and that just frustrates me to no end. It's these little things that add up and eventually dock the game about 2 points. The story is still great, and everything about it is pretty great. But it's by no means perfect, and thereby not exactly deserving of a full 10. An 8 is the perfect rating, to an almost perfect game.… Expand

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is basically perfect game for this dark November till January time period. There's so many different locations like snowy Norway or stunningly beautiful England. So whatever mood you want, it's in this game. I'm really liking it so far. Some bugs here and there, but nothing crazy.

    Last time i was as happy when buying a game was Resident Evil 2 Remake and before that Red Dead Redemption 2 and before that....umm GTA 5 i guess and before that AC 4 Black Flag, so that should say something.

    I have been Assassin's Creed fan over 5 years and i'm so happy this one was big success. Now i have something to play whenever i feel bored and that's exactly what i needed in this awful year when there's not much else to do anyway.

    It's really good, idk what else to say, other than some fps issues (hopefully will be patched), i don't have much to complain about. Combat is solid, two open worlds Norway and England both are incredible. So many secret areas, story is fun so far. Very good.

    Ubisoft did home run with this one. Reminds me Black Flag days, and it has this dark tone that Unity had. Graphics are amazing, parkour is finally good again.

    They improved several things, but sadly, they forgot the story. It's so incredibly boring, bloated, meaningless and dull that I don't even want to finish it. Eivors personality is basically non-existent and I just completely fail to care about any of it.

    Stunning snowy mountains in Norway and beautiful landscapes in England, old castles and tower to climb, many different enemies to fight against, nice characters and story. Would recommend.

    According to Ubisoft this game was huge success and as hardcore assassinscreed fan i'm very happy for it. This game is amazing anyway, but just to hear that it's actually doing really well just made this november so much better. It's so much better than Odyssey that these two games shouldn't even be compared. This is more like 2020 Black Flag or something like that.

    Assassin's Creed is not something you can quickly finish and move on to next "cool game". This game series focuses on exploration, stealth and really just enjoying the environments.

    Spent 2 hours climbing mountains in Norway and it was maybe best fun i have had in 2020 video game. This game can be extremely relaxing, climbing some huge mountain and just looking at the distance while wind slowly blows. It can also be very brutal, if you want, you can fight so many different enemies and bosses. There's so much to do, so much to explore and it's actually fun. Amazing game.

    This Assassin's Creed game is just something else. This is new level and i want more of this, not right now ,but in general terms. Can't wait for Ireland and Paris dlc, even tho i have enough content already in this base game. Both Norway and England look absolutely stunning.

    Truly beautiful open world, specially England, but Norway is stunning as well. Norway has polar bears for example, really cool stuff. There's also different hidden cave entrances on Norway you can go inside and explore. It's huge game with so much stuff to do and you can choose to do whatever you feel like. I love this freedom and like in any Assassin's Creed game you can climb on top ofTruly beautiful open world, specially England, but Norway is stunning as well.     Unlike Odyssey, this one is worth trying out, it's actually really solid AC game. I have played it over 20 hours already and can't get enough of it.

    This game has so much more content than spider-man miles morales and is way better than demon's souls remake (yes i tried them all, demon's souls remake is awful by the way and spider-man miles morales is way too short). If i could recommend one game from november 2020, it would be Assassin's Creed Valhalla, maybe Black Ops too, but that's it really.

    People who give this 0 or 1 score can go to hell, this game is good. I'm not saying it's perfect, because it has some bugs like any other open world game would have at launch, but overall it's huge beautiful game world to have fun with, great story, nice voice acting. Strong recommendation.

    Great game to spend time in November until Cyberpunk comes in December. Valhalla is graphically amazing. I have heard some people don't like combat that much, i personally like it, not sure what's the problem. Overall very good AC game, might be Ubisoft's best open world ever.

    From snowy mountains in Norway to stunning landscapes in England, this is most ambitious Assassin's Creed world they have ever created. Story is fun, combat is decent, really good voice acting from main character. This should be nominated at "The Game Awards" because not many 2020 games have that much content and variety in their worlds.

    Ubisoft already declared that this game was HUGE HIT and sold almost double the amount of Odyssey, so these fake zeros wont really change anything. These bots should just give up lol. People like this game, deal with it.

    To me personally this top 3 Assassin's Creed game ever made. These two maps alone (England and Norway) have so much content and stuff to explore. And then they add Ireland later?? That's everything i wanted from this game, maybe even more.

At the same time there's over 500 fake 10/10 accounts on demon souls remake, can't believe anyone takes this site even seriously.

    Graphics are better than odyssey, in fact these looks like true next gen. Voice acting is so much better than Odyssey. Missions are more fun than Odyssey. Parkour is million times better than in Odyssey. Basically yeah, it's very good. Don't let these fake zeros distract you.

    It is highly satisfying completing a story arc or traversing the world and finding things that you felt that other players might not have stumbled across due to the nature of the open world and its use of way finders. The lack of load times on Xbox Series S is truly impressive given the nature of environments, landscape, and elements that are present on screen. There were a few issues from characters floating in mid-air, bizarre enemy AI, and straight up freezes, although these were far and few between given the scope of it all. Intuitive and varied combat help keep things fresh, even if it does take a fair few hours of gameplay to really get going. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a thoroughly enjoyable, open-world RPG that is an absolute must for Xbox owners.

    In many aspects Valhalla resembles most of Ubisoft’s games, but fortunately progression feels a lot more natural this time around. The game’s not perfect but I had lots of fun conquering new territories, plundering churches, and pillaging coastal villages while following a mature story and enjoying gorgeous, believable medieval Britain.
