    I was playing it today for like 7-8 hours and i was thinking what would be this one word to describe this game -how about, incredible. I'm literally blown away in so many aspects of this wonderfully designed epic. Odyssey and Origins can't even get close to what this on did.
    Even fact alone that you don't need to grind anymore, at all, makes it just superb, but that's just one thing out    I was playing it today for like 7-8 hours and i was thinking what would be this one word to describe this game -how about, incredible. I'm literally blown away in so many aspects of this wonderfully designed epic. Odyssey and Origins can't even get close to what this on did.
    Even fact alone that you don't need to grind anymore, at all, makes it just superb, but that's just one thing out of 20. I would start with graphics, could be one of the best i have ever seen in video games, Red Dead 2 blew me away and this one managed to do same. Let's be clear, Odyssey story sucked, Valhalla has actually good writing, good voice acting and it's actually interesting. I have heard some complain about combat, i personally like it. I don't think there's anything really wrong with it, but that's just my opinion.    … Expand

    So much better than Odyssey and not only that, it's actually great game. Might even be in my top 3 of 2020. This one feels like the actually cared and really crafted it out. Well he is 100% wrong and has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. There's absolutely no question that i'm bigger AC fan that he could ever dream to be. You mentioned how interesting pyramids were in Origins, well of course. But here the thing, they were one of the few interesting things about Origins. Most of it was boring empty desert. I don't hate Origins, but it wasn't as interesting as Valhalla. Valhalla has way better story, better character and better open world. You said that England doesn't have landmarks or places to explore. Kidding me? London? Stonehenge? Huge castles? Mountains in Norway? There's so much to explore. Valhalla is easily one of the better designed maps Ubisoft has ever done, just behind Black Flag. There you go. You said that you laugh at people who think Origins is meh, well i laugh at you saying that Valhalla is garbage. There's clearly, very clearly more people who like Valhalla than Origins. Valhalla was biggest PC launch for Ubisoft EVER. It had over 2 million players in launch month alone. Jor Raptor gets 100 000s views on almost every Valhalla video he makes. People very clearly like this game and many have said that they absolutely love Valhalla map designs. Showing your "poll" as some evidence is BS, because most people answered that they haven't even played this game, but you said that people agree with you. Hell no. Thankfully you don't get that many views, so i don't really care that much, but this one video made me write this, because it was just too much nonsense. If you can have your BS opinion, then i have every right to have my opinion about your video and point out false things. I have been Assassin's Creed supporter and fan over 10 years and i very likely like games that you don't even like, because you seem like somebody who hops on hype trains. You know very well that people who whine about new games are just nostalgia nerds who hate every game after AC 3. I have always liked Unity and even Syndicate and i strongly doubt you like them.     If there was one game from January 2020 to November 2020 period i could play, i would easily choose this one. It's just amazing. It has some bugs here and there, but that's expected from large open world games. Cyberpunk 2077 will have them as well, no matter how much they polish it. Top 5 game from 2020 without any question. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but Assassin's Creed was ABSOLUTELY NEVER meant to be some fun streaming / party game. Each time new Assassin's Creed comes out i'm surprised that some people still don't understand that.     Amazing Graphics on the series X at or near 60fps. If you have a Oled like the lg c9 or cx your in for a treat. Amazing music, Amazing world and great story makes an amazing game. People that give games 0 on the site because its on another platform need to get a life.

    Absolutely amazing game that has huge interesting open world, tons of secrets / locations to discover, epic story, good combat, interesting characters. One of the best of 2020. I just love to get lost in that game world, explore not only England, but also Norway. Soundtrack/ambient music in this game one of the most relaxing stuff i have heard in a while.

    Amazing game, not best game ever obviously, but one of the best of 2020 absolutely.
    If you think it's boring, well too bad. Not every game needs to be Devil May Cry and i'm saying that as hardcore DMC fan.

    Ac Valhalla has insane amount of variety among different locations, more than any prior AC game could ever dream of. Even tho Norway is snowy/ice area i like it equally to England. Depends on my mood, if i wanna hang out in one area or another. Story (so far) is really good, so, so, so much better than Odyssey. Voice acting is great. Graphics are mind blowing.     From November lineup this is very clear winner. Miles Morales is fine second place, but it's just too basic for my taste. I need something deeper and AC Valhalla is exactly that.

    Haven't personally had any fps problems, but i play 1080p, so yea. I personally never cared about 4K or whatever. I tried to keep my expectations checked, but not only it delivered, it's more than what i could have even wanted from Assassin's Creed game. Without a question better than Origins and Odyssey. It's way more serious, darker and i love it.

    There's very clearly war between real Assassin's Creed fans and people who only liked first 2 games and think that now they can dictate what or how this series needs to be. Actual Assassin's Creed fans need to fight back now more than ever. Because this game truly deserves it and needs all the support possible.

I will give 10 just for that, but i would give 10 no matter what to be honest. This game is truly amazing. I actually can't believe Ubisoft delivered that well this time. I was hoping it will be good, but wow.

    Absolutely masterful comeback from Ubisoft. It's kinda hard to believe it's the same company that made Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Watch Dogs legion was fine, but AC Valhalla is just something else. Depth of this game blows me away. At least now i have something to do until Cyberpunk 2077 (hopefully) comes out.

    I have bought so many games this year, mostly because there was nothing to do thanks to quarantine. I bought Tony Hawk 1+2 remake, i bought Ghost of Tsushima, i bought 2018 spider-man (it's amazing btw), i refused to buy last of us 2 because how they lied to their fans, that was disgusting. But overall of all these games i have bought this year, i have enjoyed AC Valhalla most.

    I would recommend Youtube channel "Downward Thrust" review of this game. He is one these people who actually understand this game, not one of these "it's so boring, blah blah blah". I'm personally not going to write long review, because there's so many people out there who know how to say things better, so i will make it short. This game is absolutely amazing.

    If you liked Black Flag, but didn't really care for Odyssey, i would strongly recommend trying Valhalla. It's best of both worlds. Stunningly beautiful game world, both Norway and England truly shine. One of my favorite games of 2020.

    Visually stunning huge game world, that has very enjoyable story, interesting characters and tons of mysteries and secrets to discover. I will keep playing this game for years to come, that's for sure. Last game that truly made me feel this way was Red Dead Redemption 2.
    Side note: It has better voice acting than previous two games, just something to point out.

    Epic open world game full of magic and wonder, secrets and mysteries. In what other game can you go back in time to 800s Norway and England? That's right, there's none. This game is just blowing me away no matter what direction i go or what i do and it's actually well written, main character's voice acting is amazing. Graphically stunning. Highly recommending.

    It's really good game, if you actually wanna enjoy it, not rush it, so you could play next big game faster. Assassin's Creed games are meant to be played for months NOT few days. I bet penguinz gives it 4.5, because not enough action and too much sailing.

    I'm almost shocked how well Ubisoft delivered with this one. 2019 was awful for them, so i wasn't expecting much, but Valhalla so good. There's so much to do, voice acting is great, story is great, graphics are amazing. It's going to be something i'm gonna play until cyberpunk comes out. There's not much else anyway. Not interested at all in spiderman dlc.

    AC Valhalla almost feels like "Thank You" letter from Ubisoft to all their fans that have supported them past 7 years. It's truly amazing game and there's nothing more that pisses me off than these absolute nolife losers who gives zeros without even caring about this series or buying it.     2020 has been pretty awful, let's be honest. This game literally brought joy back into my life, not even kidding. I have played it at least 15 hours, it's just so good. I can get lost into this magical world and just forget this awful reality that 2020 has been. I'm honestly so happy that this game turned out be as amazing as it is. Eivor is a brilliant warrior and fearless and game makes you feel so realistic that you can see Eivor as a real human being. With a powerful system such as Xbox Series X, this game can be played 4K 60fps smoothly in its amazing open world and looks simply stunning. Ubisoft changed Assassin's Creed Valhalla and took the series in to another level over the improved RPG focused Assassin's Creed Odyssey. New quest types, assaults, raids new mechanics that unfamiliar with series such as ''no regenerating health''. Hitting in this game feels realistic better than ever, and sound and visuals in finishers look absolutely fantastic. With Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ubisoft created a new, innovative RPG-stealth gameplay. In the end this is the best in the series to date and by far my favorite. Does the new generation of gaming powered console assist in this, I'm sure it does but The AC long running franchise has rarely held up to the expectations of the time it was released and once again Ubisoft hits the mark of expectations for lucky early Xbox Series X owners.     Huge game world with two big maps to explore and discover. Story is mostly very good, characters are actually interesting, unlike in last game. Performance could be better, hopefully will be patched, but it's perfectly playable on all systems. Graphically stunning.
    100% will be one of the Nominees @ The Game Awards 2020.

    Overall people really can't hate this game, even if they want to. They can whine that it's maybe too long for their taste or whatever else they can come up with, but in the end it's good game that has solid writing and character, absolutely beautiful open world and no whining or complaining will change that.

    Last time i was as happy when buying a game was Resident Evil 2 Remake and before that Red Dead Redemption 2 and before that....umm GTA 5 i guess and before that AC 4 Black Flag, so that should say something.

    Extremely fun game, if you actually know what you are doing. If you are used to linear games that tell you what to do at every second then don't even try AC Valhalla, it's clearly not for you. This games focuses on fact that YOU will explore the world, YOU will make YOUR own journey. If you don't like these kinds of games, there's no point trying it.

    O jogo tem um gráfico impressionante e um visual bem bonito, a história tem um começo interessante. A gameplay é bem parecida com a dos outros assassin's creed e não apresenta quase nenhuma mecânica nova.

It's truly sad to see that some (thankfully not all) youtubers just wanted to get their reviews quickly out and basically missed half the game and that's just sad. Instead of actually enjoying this absolutely beautiful, mysterious and interesting game world that Ubisoft has created.     Highly recommending this one, if you have ever even slightly liked AC games. Hidden blade is back, you can remove your hood at any moment or wear it if you want. Both England and Norway looks incredible. There's so many places to climb and parkour. Graphics are also 10/10.

There's no official leaderboard that says "this game deserves exactly that much". It's all up to personal taste.     Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Valhalla was biggest launch in AC history, it was also nominated for Best Action / Adventure game. It has so much content and it's overall very fun, enjoyable game. Hater can just leave, because you all already lost. This game is Massive Success and nothing will change that fact! One of the best games of 2020.

    To anyone who is new to Assassin's Creed series : There's 100s of hours gameplay footage of this game on youtube. Watch it before you buy it! If it doesn't interest you, nobody is forcing you to buy it. It's great game but clearly not for everyone. I refuse to believe that someone who watched trailers, watched gameplay, bought it and then gives it 0 or 1. It doesn't even make sense.

    Ubisoft constructed a beautiful Open World and it looked absolutely beautiful on my One X and Series X. The Story was pretty good, the beginning especially was really well done. The Character Customization is way better than in Origins and Odyssey and there are a lot of Customizable's! I liked the Combat of the Game, but it kinda lacked the Chaos which we had in Odyssey. We also can now dual wield weapons, which is a fine addition ( including shields)! The Skill Tree was massive in Valhalla and I had fun checking out the many skills it had to offer, i especially liked the one where we can send our wolf to attack enemies! The Raiding was by far the most fun part( alongside the exploration) and the most rewarding one. But this game also might be the most unpolished entry after AC Unity to the series, I encountered bugs on Series X and One X, and some crashes on my One X. But at the end of the road, these issues were nothing compared to the fun I had with AC Valhalla!

    Verdict: 10/10. While this Game might be one of the most unpolished entries into AC, this also is an awesome Viking Adventure I recommend to everyone! I    … Expand

    Absolutely phenomenal and breath taking game. Runs gloriously on the series x and look amazing. However there is screen tearing if your tv/monitor does not support free sync. Hopefully that will be patched. But 40 hrs in and I can easily say this is my favorite In the franchise. I’ll gladly play another 40 more without batting an eye.

    It's really good, idk what else to say, other than some fps issues (hopefully will be patched), i don't have much to complain about. Combat is solid, two open worlds Norway and England both are incredible. So many secret areas, story is fun so far. Very good.

    After playing this about 30 hours, i can say that this one is now permanently in my top 3 Assassin's Creed games list. Nothing will change that, it's so well done.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is basically perfect game for this dark November till January time period. There's so many different locations like snowy Norway or stunningly beautiful England. So whatever mood you want, it's in this game. I'm really liking it so far. Some bugs here and there, but nothing crazy.

    My god this game looks beautiful, story missions are pretty fun so far, but main standout here is open world (2 of them) that Ubisoft has created. This game might be their best map (or should i say maps) they have ever made in any of their games. Really cool world full of mystery and wonder.

    From graphics, story, combat and exploration aspect this game is very nice, some bugs tho, hopefully these will be fixed in future patches. Overall very good. This most fun i have had with video game in 2020. Doom Eternal is close second place. It's more like 9 obviously, but giving it 10 because there's so many fake 0's.

I have tried to explore most of the map, overall it's well designed, but ocean seems kinda empty? Did i miss something? No giant squids? Come on, this game needs giant squids, it's perfect for that.     This game has so much more content than spider-man miles morales and is way better than demon's souls remake (yes i tried them all, demon's souls remake is awful by the way and spider-man miles morales is way too short). If i could recommend one game from november 2020, it would be Assassin's Creed Valhalla, maybe Black Ops too, but that's it really.

    This Assassin's Creed game is just something else. This is new level and i want more of this, not right now ,but in general terms. Can't wait for Ireland and Paris dlc, even tho i have enough content already in this base game. Both Norway and England look absolutely stunning.

    Spent 2 hours climbing mountains in Norway and it was maybe best fun i have had in 2020 video game. This game can be extremely relaxing, climbing some huge mountain and just looking at the distance while wind slowly blows. It can also be very brutal, if you want, you can fight so many different enemies and bosses. There's so much to do, so much to explore and it's actually fun. Amazing game.

    I thought they don't make good games anymore?? Apparently i was wrong, this game made me speechless when i first booted it up. Voice acting, story, open world, graphics, different cities and hidden locations. This game might have best looking water i have seen in any video game ever, because it's kinda my hobby to compare different game's water effects and this one is just absolute top tier.

    It is highly satisfying completing a story arc or traversing the world and finding things that you felt that other players might not have stumbled across due to the nature of the open world and its use of way finders. The lack of load times on Xbox Series S is truly impressive given the nature of environments, landscape, and elements that are present on screen. There were a few issues from characters floating in mid-air, bizarre enemy AI, and straight up freezes, although these were far and few between given the scope of it all. Intuitive and varied combat help keep things fresh, even if it does take a fair few hours of gameplay to really get going. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a thoroughly enjoyable, open-world RPG that is an absolute must for Xbox owners.

    In many aspects Valhalla resembles most of Ubisoft’s games, but fortunately progression feels a lot more natural this time around. The game’s not perfect but I had lots of fun conquering new territories, plundering churches, and pillaging coastal villages while following a mature story and enjoying gorgeous, believable medieval Britain.
