    I am loving it. A good story, some brutal new generation graphics, excellent, have left me speechless. The game is very entertaining.

    I went into Requiem not expecting much. After 17 hours of gameplay over 8 days, I walk away with one of my favorite games of all time. I absolutely cannot recommend this game enough, and if you already played it, I recommend playing through it again with the New Game+ feature. The story is gripping and compelling, the gameplay is fun and rewarding, and the characters feel fleshed out. II went into Requiem not expecting much. After 17 hours of gameplay over 8 days, I walk away with one of my favorite games of all time. I absolutely cannot recommend this game enough, and if you already played it, I recommend playing through it again with the New Game+ feature. The story is gripping and compelling, the gameplay is fun and rewarding, and the characters feel fleshed out. I feel like I know these characters. My heart broke for these characters.     Fantastic game, took me a bit by surprise. It's a mix of horror and stealth which works really great.
    Also got some really great twist and turns and some moments where stuff goes spectacularly to ****

    Enter 2022, Asobo Studio's team has grown with a bigger budget but I was not prepared for the sheer spectacle that awaited me.     In every category Requeim is not only an upgrade to its predecessors but it rivals the greatest narrative experiences out there.

    Visually it's stunning starting from vast landscapes to festive markets to the open sea. The architecture of the middle age buildings are detailed and gorgeous. The level designs were exceptional!

    The soundtrack is sometimes haunting, other times emotional or festive and at all times fitting for the atmosphere. The voice acting is incredible! Charlotte McBurney deserves all the accolades for her role as Amicia. The way her voice shakes or quivers in moments of turmoil or desperation makes you feel her pain and trauma in your bones.

    The gameplay is excellent. It's still a stealth game at its heart given the relatively fragile nature of the protagonist but this time you have more options in your arsenal to fight back. Amicia is tougher than ever!

    The story is emotional. It's deeply moving. It's one of the few video games that made me shed tears. The bond between the siblings and their companions will keep you engaged or stay on your toes from start to finish.

    Performance-wise I've only faced two noticeable stutters (for a total of less than 2 seconds combined) and by the time you're reading this they might be gone entirely. The smaller AA budget of the studio is only noticeable in facial animations. There were no major bugs and whatever minor bugs that doea exist, I didn't experience them or did not affect my enjoyment of the game.

    I expected a great time when I started playing. What I did not expect was to be hit with emotions that will stay with me for years to come.

    A worthy sequel. Everything about this game is just amazing : atmosphere, narrative, sound design, gameplay & visuals.

    For those new to the series I would highly recommend to play the first masterpiece, A Plague's Tale Innocence, before jumping into this new masterpiece.

    incredible graphics, absolutely one of the best looking games of this generation, amazing story that keeps you on the edge of your seat, the voice actors also made a phenomenal job that made the game even more immersive, it turns to pure survival horror with an outstanding atmosphere and gruesome environments. this is easily 10/10

    This is a great game. Amazing history, voice overs, graphics, music and ambientation. The story and gameplay is very linear so if this is a problem for you this is not a game you should consider.

A Plague Tale Requiem is as brutal and grotesque as it is gripping and beautiful. I found myself staying up late, and waking up early because I longed to know what happened next. It’s not often I feel a true connection to characters in video games, butI’m not crying, you’re crying! I found myself staying up late, and waking up early because I longed to know what happened next. It’s not often I feel a true connection to characters in video games, but everything this game does makes it impossible not to love and hate them like family.

    It’s visually stunning (a couple cutscenes had floating bolts or the like), and perhaps the best stealth game I’ve ever played. It’s certainly not perfect; there were several instances where my character died or was discovered but some how the game decided to spawn me as if I completed the section or boss. By no means did it feel like the game goes easy on you though. The writing, voice acting, and music are great. Wear a decent pair of headphones for an immersive experience, the atmospheric audio really adds to gameplay in a dramatic way. You’re a part of their journey, and I was literally on the edge of my seat. I’m not being overly praiseful, read my other reviews (I’m hard to please). This game makes me optimistic for the future of gaming and western storytelling. They were right on the edge of pushing the “strong independent woman” cliche in at one point, but quickly shifts towards telling the real story about an authentic heroine. If you know your history you will love the subtle and bold ways they link the story to true historical events, people; and perhaps even gives our ancestors a break in regard to their potential for complex interpretations of our world. 10/10 Will replay in the future and still cry. - Grown ass man that kills his own food.    … Expand

    A major step up from the original game. This game manages to capture the best aspects of the original and also add new aspects. Sections of the game actually have an Uncharted vibe. Some stunning scenery. It gets emotional.

    This game is actually amazing and well worthy sequel to the original "Innocence". Its very rare that a second addition lives up to the 1st but in this case it definitely does. The writers really outdone themselves with more of a unique story instead of allot of other games where everything can always be predicted with the "stick to what works approach".     The best way to describe this game is by saying, the more you play it the deeper, richer, darker, and mysterious it gets all the way till the very end credits.

    One of the best stories in games, gameplay is OK mechanics are the same as in innocence but its still OK, optimisation is meh 30 fps is really uncomfortable at first but after some time you will get used to it.
    Graphics great,animations great, music is amazing,I think only thing that this game was lacking is honour system like in dishonoured 1.

    For me this is best game I played this year, looks like only GOW: Ragnarok could change my mind.

    The story is simply magnificent, you get attached to all the characters that appear and suffer with them.     About combat, I believe they play a good role, demonstrating Amicia's fragility and at the same time her dexterity. Makes the game "real" in my view.
    Stealth has some issues, but much better than many games I've played. It's a little hard to get used to, I think the difficulty progression was a little complex for those who don't "remember" the last game well. Stealth is slightly easier when you know how to use Amicia's tools correctly, but still with its difficulties of carrying only 2 arrows and the stone making a lot of noise. Anyway, just like in other games, you can go full rush burning the bush along with the enemies, exploding the pots with fire, throwing rats and so on.    … Expand

A good plot, there are some questions to it, but we have what we have. The graphics are amazing, I still can't enjoy it. People who underestimate the game for being 30 fps, what's wrong with you?     A true work of art. With superb graphics, gameplay, beautifull story and strong characters, this amazing game blows me away at every level. This game probably didn't deserve a full 10(thanks to the bugs), but between 10 and 9 i go with ten. If I had more choice, I would give the game a 9.9

    Most people are crying about the 30 fps state of the game, my response is calm down please, this is a single player narrative game, nothing too serious, just enjoy the great characters, voive acting and the landscapes in this game.

This is probably one of the best stories I have ever heard, and the gameplay feels extremely impacted on the story which helps to add immersion and also allows every emotion to naturally flow to the player which makes particular moments in the game really emotionally impactful. This game completely blows the first one out of proportion and feels surreal at times yet extremely immersive. The ending was extremely crushing and well executed, and the final scene before the last credits hints towards another game which I and I’m sure many are hoping will happen.     Si te gustó el primer juego, definitivamente tienes que probar Requiem, cumple todas las expectativas que podrías llegar a tener.

    HISTORIA: Esta continua tiempo después del primer juego, todo parece miel sobre hojuelas, pero pronto nos encontraremos con problemas, justo como en el primer juego. La historia de esta secuela no decepciona y mejora con respecto a la primera, los personajes nuevos juegan un gran papel en la relación de Hugo y Amicia, y el final me dejó muy satisfecho, gran cierre para la saga.
    AUDIO: En el apartado de audio, lo hicieron muy bien, sobre todo la música, que es genial, con instrumentos medievales y un gran soundtrack que esta a la altura del juego. Jugué el titulo en ingles, por lo cual no puedo hablar del doblaje, pero me parece que solo esta disponible en castellano y no en esp-latino.
    GRÁFICOS: Los gráficos lucen geniales, si bien las interacciones in-game no lucen como por ejemplo lo que hace Naughty Dog, en general se siente muy bien todo lo demás en cuanto a gráficos se refiere. La dirección de arte resulta muy buena al ambientar una Francia medieval.
    GAMEPLAY: Como ya sabrán el sigilo predomina en este juego junto con un apartado de combate y bastantes rompe cabezas. TODO mejoró respecto a la antigua entrega, ahora el sigilo es mejor, sin llegar a ser la mejor IA que hay en un juego, pero es bastante bueno. El combate también mejoró y ahora es mas divertido y la variedad de armas y combinaciones que puedes hacer para pasar un nivel o deshacerte de un enemigo ahora son mayores. Y claro, varias veces tendrás que pensar 2 veces que es lo que necesitas hacer para sortear las ratas y avanzar en el camino.
    DURACIÓN: El juego cuenta con 18 capítulos de alrededor de 30 a 50 minutos cada uno, si haces mas exploración el juego aumenta en cuanto a tiempo y claro tendrás piezas para mejorar tu equipo y desbloquear coleccionables. En cuanto a rejugabilidad, yo tengo suficiente con una pasada, pero el juego tiene NewGame+ lo cual es bueno, además de selección de capítulos para aquellos que quieran platinar/1000G el juego.

    Honestly, the best games of the year for me and the best game I've lived with is a dramatic story and all the feelings so far are shocked and I don't understand what happened after finish the game.

    I have played the game from start to finish and I can only say that wow it is a work of art embodied in a video game, excellent graphics, excellent mechanics, excellent performance, the combat is all very well polished and the story is entertaining and not boring, it is not monotonous, I recommend anyone who likes to play 1-player story mode games to give this game a chance, you won't regret it

    Lo único a mejorar desde mi punto de vista son los 30fps en consolas, ya que con una optimización mejor, fácilmente se llegaría a los 60.

    A truly extraordinary, unique, standalone game. I seriously cannot rate this enough! It is such a breath of fresh air. I have not fallen in love with a game like A Plague Tale for a looooong time! Give it a try, it will be worth it!

    Fato é: o plot no geral é simplesmente sensacional do início ao fim. Estava com medo de jogar Requiem e não gostar, pois não tenho muito carinho pelo Inoccence. Mas graças a Deus eu estava errado.
    Requiem faz o mesmo que The Last of Us 2 e Uncharted 4. Pega seu antecessor e diz “fica na tua ai, deixa os adultos brincarem agora”. Um dos melhores do ano.

    Really needs to be played on a 120hz screen for 40hz support. I really struggle with 30fps, but find 40 ok. For a slow, adventure/stealth game it's fine. The story is amazing, the world just oozes with atmosphere. Really enjoyable game.

    Sequels are hard. Team Asobo has managed to make a more compelling world with even more compelling characters and wrapped it in a gorgeous bow. There are issues for sure. The game doesn’t innovate nearly enough and performance on next-gen consoles is disappointing, but this game continues to prove that this team of developers is extremely talented. I hope we continue to see them flourish and create new experiences. A Plague Tale: Requiem is a truly exceptional experience that everyone should check out. It is on Game Pass so the barrier to entry is lighter. Definitely give it a shot.

    No game is perfect, but A Plague Tale: Requiem is everything I could have asked for in a sequel. It refines and improves on all of the issues I had with Innocence, creating a game that doesn’t feel all that different, but simply feels far better. Instead of reinventing the wheel, the team at Asobo Studio evolved it instead, making a far better version of an already good game with a refined version of the same formula. Anyone who remotely enjoyed the original needs to check it out.
