Mar 20, 2020A great love letter of a game to the fans of G1. It looks beautiful and manages to capture the soul of G1 very well. My only problems are that I wish it just had more content. Both in terms of characters and playtime.

Oct 6, 2015This is not only a top notch Transformers game, but it is also a top notch character action game. Once again platinum proves that they know character action better than any other developer. If you like games like Bayonetta or Metal Gear Rising Revengence than this is the game for you.

Oct 9, 2015A fantastic game, from start to finish. The voice acting is superb, the animation bright and colourful, and the action intense. A must buy for any Transformers/Action fan. Yes, it’s a little short, but what a great time you’ll have while you’re there.

Nov 11, 2015Must play for any gen 1 fan. Could have done more as it's very linear and the combat is a little basic but it's more challenging than i expected and plays just like an episode of the early shows. Really enjoyed it.

Pelit (Finland)Jan 4, 2016One of the best licensed games of the year. The core gameplay relies on skill and every Autobot beats Decepticons in its own unique way. The six hour campaign is short, but with the maximum difficulty level you'll get your money's worth. [Nov 2015]

Official Xbox Magazine UKDec 8, 2015Scratch beneath the surface and there's a deep game that gives out as much as you're willing to put in. [Christmas 2015, p.79]

Nov 29, 2015Sophisticated combo-based combat delivers a fast and furious barrage of action, but the gear and perks systems left me wondering why they were there at all in a game all about over-the-top boss fights and robot dinosaur beatdowns.
