    There are very few hunting games out there and the hunting games that we do have unfortunately lack in terms of realism, but when it comes to theHunter: Call of the Wild they’ve done everything perfectly and the realism this game has is as close to the real thing as it can be. The world in the game is amazing and absolutely huge. The game rewards exploring and the world does a brilliant job of creating an immersive experience. The hunting aspect which is obviously the most important thing of the game has been done really well, and the realism here is immense. Animals react the way they should do and the various tools you can use give the game a very realistic feel, and when you succeed in getting an animal you get a very satisfied feeling. When hunting the game does however have a few technical issues, they are few and far between but they can disturb you so hopefully they release a patch to sort this. The game can get a bit boring after a while because it can have a lack of action for long periods, but they combat this with a very good online co-op option. The online co-op is extremely fun, and most important of all is that I never suffered with any problems online. The presentation side of the game surprised me because it’s absolutely perfect. Visually the game can look stunning at times, and the sound design in the game gives the game even more of a realistic feel. At the end of the day if you want a hunting experience that allows you to stay in the comfort of your own home but also still feels like you’re actually out hunting then theHunter: Call of the Wild is a must buy. Without a shadow of a doubt this is the best hunting game out there, and I was amazed by how much detail has been included. This game definitely gets a big thumbs up from me and the main reason for that is that the realism is off the charts.… Expand

    This is a beautifully-crafted and good-looking game with enough variation in locales, weather, animal varieties, and game play to make it easily one of the best games in terms of value for money that I have owned in the past 20 years! I've put in about 40 hours so far and I am always impressed by how amazing the visuals are. I've put in about 40 hours so far and I am always impressed by how amazing the visuals are. When it starts raining I literally feel the need to drop a canopy so I don't get wet. The audio portion of the game is also top-notch with the noises you make, along with the noises you hear around you, having serious consequences on how your hunt will go. To be clear, this is a hunting simulation, not a hunting game. With that said, it is fun to play even when the hunt goes badly and you shut off your Xbox with nothing to show for an hours' worth of play. Like any good simulation you will deal with different lighting scenarios in both night and day during the hunt that will challenge you to play harder and do better. Although I "only" give this a nine, mainly because perfection is truly meant to be rare, I still highly recommend buying this hunting simulator!… Expand

    One of the best (if not the best) games I ever played! It´s starts a little slow, but once you learn its dynamics it grows (hugely) on you! The hunting experience can be very challenging but super rewarding at the end. Shooting and eventually chasing the animal and tracking its blood trail are one of the coolest things in the game. The Graphics on "ultra setting" is the closest to a realOne of the best (if not the best) games I ever played! It´s starts a little slow, but once you learn its dynamics it grows (hugely) on you! The Graphics on "ultra setting" is the closest to a real life ambient I´ve ever seen, truly immersive experience! Night time, sunny, cloudy, rain, fog, dusk, dawn, thunders, This is a hunting game, not a shooting gallery. Expect to be stalking or luring your prey for some time before you can get to make a shot. The graphics are AMAZING. Maxed out it's incredible. The sound is very realistic, and they're clearly samples from real animals that were recorded. There are two maps that are both very large: Europe and North America. Wildlife varies from animals like elk, moose, coyote, bears, deer, boar, etc. It could use a few more weapons. This game would be perfect if it had duck hunting. It's the best nature simulator out there.lightning, wind gusts... you name it, the game recreated them perfectly.… Expand

    Amazing game! Put 40 hours on it for PC but my PC could not handle the game, All the issues that this game had on PC ( Not game breaking just small stuff like bullet ballistics) is fixed! I will say the game is much better on the Xbox One then PC.

    I have been hunting since i was three years old and I have been playing video games for almost as long. This game is the best mix of the two i have ever experienced. Every map has different areas and different animals that are unique and amazing. This game is graphically and aesthetically pleasing, This game gives a true hunting experience and I would recommend it to anyone out there whoI have been hunting since i was three years old and I have been playing video games for almost as long. Instead COTW requires stealth, cunning and most importantly, patience. As in real life animals don't conveniently stand around waiting for you to shoot them and will flee if you come steaming in and will be long gone by the time you reach the area you spotted them. What this game does offer is an experience that is a close to hunting as any game has ever attempted. Starting with the maps which are many and vast with graphics that beautifully capture their surroundings. From the lush forests and lakes of north west America to the African savannah which can be traversed on foot or vehicle. You will be treated to stunning locations and a diverse eco system with weather cycles running through the day/night. Everything is fully upgradable from weapons, ammo, lures, clothing etc. There is also a comprehensive skills and perk system that allows you to become more proficient with weaponry, tracking and hunting. Tracking works well through a simple system of locating footprints which will change colour for the animal you following and fetus droppings that will inform you how long ago they have been there, giving you a indication of whether you should be moving more swiftly or starting the process of stalking. The game is a sandbox so you can either play it completely your way or try out the missions and side quests which are light on story but interesting enough to get you engaged as they often get you to visit all corners of the map and introduce you to mechanics like lookout towers and feeding/sleeping zones amongst others. All in all COTW is a stunning hunting simulator. If you enjoy hunting or looking for a shooter with a relaxed pace then this game is most definitely for you.… Expand

    La verdad es que cuando lo prove, pense que no eran gran cosa, pero despues de 80 horas y mucho multijugador, tengo que decir que es de lo mejorcito que he jugado. Me hizo descubrir este genero y hacerme fan. Las mecacanicas de caza son muy buenas. Por ciwrto, lo juego eseries x, en game pass

    theHunter: Call of the Wild isn’t for everyone. It takes a lot of patience and can be impenetrable for those without experience in hunting simulators. But for those with the grit to push through the steep learning curve, this game is quite possibly the best hunting game of all time. If you’re curious about it, I highly recommend giving it a go.

    A very good hunting sim, with great graphics and a deep and realistic gameplay, both in single and multiplayer. We would have liked more environments/maps to hunt on, but it's definitely a game to buy for lovers of this genre.

    The Hunter: CotW drops most of the arcade style and replaces it with a slower paced, more realistic hunt. At first, I thought this would limit the audience to a more narrow scope of player. That is, until my 9-year-old daughter quit playing Minecraft, sat down next to me and asked, “Can I play?” Since then, she has logged more time playing than I have.
