Aug 25, 2016The Solus Project offers a fascinating sci-fi adventure, with some absolutely stunning vistas and a mystery-filled storyline. It hangs too heavily on classical survival elements though, something contrasting with its linear story and that could have used a little bit more innovation.

Jul 26, 2016The Solus Project benefits from the fact that you can't just shoot your way out of a bad situation.

Jul 19, 2016A satisfyingly creepy exploration game that uses a brilliant understanding of setcrafting and circumstance to capture the experience of being alone on an alien planet. Ambience and mood are kings here, and the experience deals eeriness and beauty in equal measure. Sadly, its puzzles are seldom rewardingly challenging.

Jul 25, 2016It's a good game, but it isn't likely to impress fans of pure survival games, and it's definitely more intense and demanding than your average walking simulator. As a result, I suggest that you treat it like a low-action sci-fi adventure; the kind of thing that will leave you with a lot of unanswered questions, but that can deliver a lot of intrigue and excitement along the way.
