    The humour, both in character design and the dialogue, is the stand-out winner here with The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos - Chicken Edition, and the rest of it is swept along nicely by the energy these factors bring. The story is good in its own right, but it is brought to life by the silly squabbles amongst the party. All in all, you can’t go wrong with The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos - Chicken Edition on Xbox.

    Toilet humour can be very funny if it’s written well and I’m not sure it’s written well here. That’s a shame because the rest of The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is a decent effort at the tactical genre, with some genuine replay value thrown in. Why not give it a stab? Or perhaps, a backstab?

    The campaign offers a good mix of classic characters, the location in which the adventure happens is unusual, the tactics are rich and the gameplay is enjoyable — if the script and voiceovers didn’t dump a bucket of hog slop all over everything, we’d be in business. Unfortunately, the narrative aspect of Naheulbeuk is truly abysmal and it ruins everything else the game gets right. In this case, a boring by-the-numbers ‘save the world’ questline would have been far, far preferable to what we actually got.

    An isometric turn-based RPG with a comedy tone! I enjoyed the parody of the CRPG genre at the same time it is a CRPG. It was somethingAn isometric turn-based RPG with a comedy tone! I enjoyed the parody of the CRPG genre at the same time it is a CRPG. It was something different for turn-based RPG players. The combat was surprisingly deep. The graphics are outstanding. The interface is excellent. This game is a European arts funded production.
    The negative? There is a RNG element, and an enemy can surprisingly dodge a shot you expected to make. Yet, an innovation of this game, there is a 'bad luck gauge' which fills up when RNG goes against you, and then provides a bonus that can help.

    I really like this game! You can control multiple characters, is turn based and the dialogues are soo funny ahahaha

    This is one of the funniest games you will ever play. The dialog is hilarious with pretty decent voice overs. Great writing and characters.This is one of the funniest games you will ever play. Graphics and animations are very well done and the turned based combat is fairly engaging. Level progression is also a nice touch with lots of customization for you characters. I just wish you could rename them. This is definitely a game you need to try out for the comedy value alone.… Expand
