Meh. I wouldn't call it a bad game, but I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends save for the couple who like to play really unique stuff. There's a good game hiding somewhere in here, or at least a good idea, but there's so many awful glitches and underused mechanics that it's hard to see. The creator/developer also apparently wanted the game to be really "deep" by stating that itMeh. There's a good game hiding somewhere in here, or at least a good idea, but there's so many awful glitches and underused mechanics that it's hard to see. The creator/developer also apparently wanted the game to be really "deep" by stating that it would challenge your idea of religion in the opening credits, but it just comes off as a grab for attention. If you've ever given more than 2 seconds thought to the idea of religion, this game has nothing to offer you philosophically. There's reincarnation, ghosts, and a rather unfulfilling morality system that has questionable variables. Killing every fox you see somehow benefits your moral standing? Right. I was single-handedly responsible for the extinction of nearly every critter the game had to offer, and I was rewarded with the title of Guardian of the Forest.

On the plus side though, it looks great, sounds great, and the controls are very tight. So tight, in fact, that the game is amazingly easy, but I figured it was more of an "experience" game anyways, and I was looking for something chill to play while I relaxed. And hey, it was free on X1, and it only takes about 3 hours to "beat", though there's a bit more to do afterwards. So not too much time lost if you just want to give it a go one day.

Fair game. But not something I would play a lot. All your basically doing is walking in a straight line, somethings there hardly any enemies. But when there is, they're super Hard. You get kill intensity. I won't suggest this game.

A decent platform adventure, but one that struggles with its identity.

Glorious art is a feast for the eyes, but if you've ever played a platformer, you won't be able to shake the feeling you've seen this all before. [Nov 2015, p.80]

A peculiar and unique title, with a skillful mix of platform, roguelike, rpg, survival and puzzle elements and a very effective artistic design.
