    As uneven and unpolished as it is, Fallen Order is still the best game to emerge from EA's stewardship of the Star Wars license, even if that's to damn it with faint praise. [Issue#340, p.98]

    I can’t deny that I had plenty of fun taking in this authentic new Star Wars story, but I get the sense that an extra six or twelve months of development could have given us a more polished and less derivative experience.

    While Star Wars fans hoped for the ultimate redemption, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is just a good game. The combat is nice and the Star Wars force is strong, but technical flaws and a rippling story make Fallen Order just average.

    While Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has some exciting combat and moments of genuinely interesting storytelling and acting, it just falls short of hitting the mark. It borrows heavily from several genres without actually adding anything new to the conversation. That’s not to say it’s bad, it just didn’t leave me wanting to revisit this galaxy.

    Respawn Entertainment knew what they needed to do in order to meet expectations, but that's all they did. Jedi: Fallen Order meets but doesn't exceed expectations. Players will have seen better gameplay, better animations, and better graphics elsewhere, but it's the story that makes the 20+ hours worth it.

    Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has its heart in the right place, delivering that Star Wars fantasy that is sure to please fans of the franchise. But putting aside the lightsabers and Wookiees, Fallen Order is too often unsuccessful in implementing ideas from better games, and ends up seeming like a pale imitation in comparison.

    On paper, these elements add up to one of the most elaborate and original Star Wars games in a very long time, but poor performance, a multitude of minor bugs, and a pervasive sense that swaths of the game are just lacking in refinement all undermine what would otherwise be an easy game to recommend.

    The bugs are ugly and the slides are a nightmare, but they don’t hold Fallen Order back as much they could have. Lightsaber combat is rarely as fun or interesting as it is in this game, and the plot hits some tragic notes that the bigger Star Wars stories tend to skip over.

    Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is probably one of the best releases of the year and is going to be on everyone's spotlight for a while. There's so much to say about the game such as graphics gameplay game mechanics the way they made the story flows the puzzles. It's so hard to say they missed a spot as the game's almost perfect! The game is Single Player action game and you play as Cal, a lone Padiwan setting out to destroy the Empire and re-build the Jedi Order. There's three main aspects to the gameplay parkour, combat, and puzzles. You'll not brutally run over the enemies kill them jump and swing to pass missions,
    as everything seems planned so detailed and carefully. You can change the difficulty anytime in the game if you stuck any point in the game. While you playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order you can customize your ship your best buddy BD-1 and of course your own outfit as well. With the experience you get from the missions you can get Improve your characters skills.. There's so much to stay about the game but you'll never get enough before you play it!     Aside from that, they might as well have called this game “Jedi falls off of everything”. Not once during the entire time you play do you actually feel like a Jedi. Even the most basic storm trooper with a baton will block every attack. They say you were supposed to feel like a Jedi in this game. I feel more like a drunkard with a pool noodle. I finally had to resort to playing on story mode just to try and milk any enjoyment out of this. It is simply way too hard. And it becomes more of a chore and a punishment than anything else. The dark souls style of combat has always been punishing and I don’t see how anyone gets enjoyment out of it. Not to mention, even with lightning fast reflexes, you will still get destroyed.

    Parry is a joke. You can have perfect timing and it won’t matter because every other attack from half of the NPC‘s are unblockable. So get used to just getting beaten around. I just don’t understand how they got so much right and managed to completely ruin this game with the combat system in place. All they had to do was make this game fun. But instead they made it feel like detention.

    Not to mention, they promised us all these different worlds we could explore, but you end up getting a total of five. Five different levels. Wow. And there aren’t any extra things to do after you beat the game either. You just get to go collect more stuff. I guess they think we all want to replay this mess on a harder difficulty? I would rather slam my fingers in a car door. Not even kidding. In the end, the game has zero replayability. They let you go explore and all that after you beat the story, but you don’t even want to. Because every level in this game feels like a huge chore. No fast travel, mobs respawn at every rest, etc. If they had taken their ability to capture the magic and actually make this an open world adventure with fun combat, this game would’ve been one of the best. Instead, we get this. Oh well. I’ve beaten it and I’m honestly glad I don’t have to play it anymore. Which gives me mixed feelings. Because I really want to keep playing a fun SW game.
