    This is my first time to write review.
    The reason is because the game itself sucks.
    It only worth $10 and don't waste your time/money until the price get lower than $10.

    So many good companies destroyed by EA. I love Star Wars and Disney has done really good with continuing the franchise with all areas but this. Disney please don't let EA destory Star Wars as well.

    EA are the Sith of the gaming industry. They buy up all big licenses you love and then they exploit you. This is Battlefront 1 rehashed with nothing really added besides a story mode that lasts a few hours. The greed in microtransactions is unfathomable. In a free mobile game having play to win online features is at least somewhat understandable. But for $60 to constantly be shakingEA are the Sith of the gaming industry. They buy up all big licenses you love and then they exploit you. This is Battlefront 1 rehashed with nothing really added besides a story mode that lasts a few hours.     dishonest business practices with crappy pay to win tactics on a 60 dollar game. score absolute ZERO. Gameplay looks average, but don't fall for the hype, pay to win will be back. Complete CRAP.

    Don't be fooled, there is not a good game behind all the controversy of the lootboxes. The game is mediocre, repetitive and the campaign doesn't even finish properly.

    I was truly excited to play this game. The foundation is there. The game itself has plenty of redeeming qualities, until you get to the progression system. The progression system essentially ruins an otherwise good game which is sadly all based in greed and predatory transactions. For the sake of competitive gaming and honest business practices, I cannot give it a higher score than 0.

    Seeing what is happening to Star Wars is making me sad.
    The amount of greed this game offers is horrible.
    No more games from EA for me. Same goes for DICE.

    Si en algun momento quitan los micropagos paytowin y reestructuran la optencion de equipo y heroes en ese momento comprare este juego ya que no pienso pasar 4500hr para completar el 100% del juego.

    EA tied to shove pay 2 win loot boxes down our throats. They tried to make us have to spend 40 hours to unlock 1 hero character. The "progression system" is still a complete joke. The only reason I'm giving this game a zero is that I can't give a negative rating.

    Solid game (albeit, very similar to every other DICE game you have ever played)... but I don't care. How long are gamers going to let huge companies like EA and Activision screw them over? Hopefully this games current user score is an indication of how fed up people with a shred of self-control are with regards to MTs. Please don't buy this game.

    The loot boxes were "turned off," not "fixed". The question you gotta ask yourself is this: "Does EA care enough about the consumer to leave them off when the heat dies down?" I think their history speaks for itself on how much they care about the consumer.

    You WILL realize that paywalls and random loot rolls for cash is predatory, wrong and irresponsible. Putting content behind gambling structures so children can waste their allowance is predatory and disgusting. Paying to win is detrimental to the gaming community.

Its a bit more polished than the first but the progression system is so slow it makes playing a chore. Progression tied to loot crates is not something I will support. Got a refund from MS.     I have played it within 10 hours EA Access trial. This is a game designed as Pay-to-Win. Just to discourage such a behaviour in 60$ game - I am giving it an 0 point user score.
    I cannot accept pay-to-win approach in game I have to pay the full price.
    I know that now loot boxes are TEMPORARILY blocked. So I am waiting for permanently removal. Then I am open to change my scoring.

    Don't buy this pay to win game. I preordered the deluxe edition despite all the news about loot crates and microtransactions, and have contacted ea 3 separate times, and have still not gotten the extra 20$ worth of stuff I should've gotten.

    Just don't buy it.

    Shameful exploitation of loyal customers and fans. Delivering a game full of bugs and servers not capable of holding more than one match. At least some good may have come from this release. No longer will gamers be expected just to pay up and shut up!

I paid a lot of money and I have a job and have only 1 hour per day for fun stuff. To get DV or any other character I need to play the game like for one year. I will not support to pay for lootcrates with my hard earned money. That was my last EA$$$ - its not gaming anymore in 2017. This game is medicore. The villains are nonsensical and have no motivation. The new heroes are bland and uninspired. An amateur would be ashamed of this work.

    Combat is so deeply flawed with an progression system that is about out matching your opponents with Star Cards. Since each Star Card has 4 tiers to them, and all characters can have up to 3 Star Cards equipped(or none if you chose so), there are 12 levels of statistical upgrades in a player versus player game. That's 12 levels of objectivity being more powerful than opponents.    … Expand

I bought the deluxe edition and paid $90CAD (would have been $100 without an EA membership), played the campaign and had a fair amount of fun, great graphics and visuals but lacking in the content department but i didn't mind too much. If you want to play as a sniper which is my favourite on Battlefield 1 you're not gonna get any points because you're not (playing the objective). **** star cards BTW, whoever came up with that deserves to drown to death.     I can assure you the intent was to give players a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes. EA is now offering to trade updates to the progression system and new heroes for succ.

And the rewards you get are mostly based on how long the game lasted, not what you did! I saw a game on You Tube where the Republic took out both MTTs on Kashyyyk, which is impressive, and the payout in credits and experience was low. That's backwards! The single player campaign was short and a disappointment. What has happened to player agency in modern games? The game is also quite buggy.

    EA DICE it's in the game. Well, no not really. But you can get the other things IN the game for about $5000 a month, or more. Depending on what you get in your "pride and sense of accomplishment" from the lootbox. Reddit loves you EA. We really do.

    you spin the premium machine a few times and get some next level sh*t,a burst of excitement fills your heart every time the lootbox opens and the adrenaline rush keeps you going in again and again.

    after a few hours and after you bet all of your money in the slot machines you go to the arena where you destroy all of the players and you get ranked #1 every single game for HOURS.
    after a while you decide that you had enough from the casino so you go to the counter and ask "where can i cash out my winnings?" the counter laughs at you and says "well,you can't cash out your items - but you can use them on the next time you visit STAR WARS HOTEL & CASINO"

    you look at him with anger and disbelief,you try to argue with him but to no avail,eventually you leave the casino filled with anger and frustration and you keep asking yourself : "why did they lure me in to this scam by using the name STAR WARS - a franchise that i love to take my hard-earned cash?"    … Expand

    Worst Multiplayer experience ever. Do not not buy or you will regret it. Even with the changes the game is unacceptable for new gamers. You are mathced with maxed players and you have no choice but to grind and be slaughtered again and again angainst maxed out players. Even fremium games are mote generous with new players that this ruined greedy game.

    Game is broken. Aim reticle moves on its own regardless of which controller settings you use. Trying to lead a target results in the reticle shooting off in the direction your leading towards which makes it impossible to play online. Some searching online reveals this is a common problem and strikes people randomly and worse there's no fix. The developers are aware of the issue and haven'tGame is broken.     Battlefront II is fan service and little else; much respect to the craft, the attention to detail and the wealth of content, but sadly it just isn't enough. It's starting to feel as if Star Wars simply isn't a franchise suitable for this type of sprawling, large-scale multiplayer experience. It doesn't have it in its bones, and if DICE can't find a way to make it work, we're fearful nobody can. [Issue#195, p.72]

    Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will go down as one of the biggest screw ups in video game history. EA and DICE had the easiest job in the world and completely ruined it with the absolutely ridiculous and downright unacceptable progression system for multiplayer. Combine that with the incredibly boring, lazy, and cliche story campaign and you easily have the biggest disappointment of 2017.
