Jul 30, 2020A great game with a GTA-like experience. I would recommend it even in 2020.

Jul 31, 2020well made game. kung fu, parkour, racing, shooting, pork buns, triad stuff.. its different from other open world rpgs. not as overwhelming. story moves along at a good pace. Not too many side quests to distract from the main story. The game needs a prequel to show why Wei Shen left HK in the first place. Needs the RDR2 trratment

Nov 11, 2014This game sucks they should quit making these types of remakes, most of they offer is just really pontless. Not worth getting at all. dont get it not worth 60 dollars

Feb 16, 2017I was surprised by how much fun I had with this game. I was actually interested in the story and found the upgrade system rewarding. Gun battles are pretty generic but the fighting system was a lot of fun. I thought the story kind of feel short at the end and the DLC was terrible but I am still happy that I played the game. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun open world experience.

Dec 10, 2016Having got this for free form xbox live, i can confirm this would have been worth paying for. Interesting story and great game overall. Only drawback are the few glitches and bugs which still persist despite this being "definitive edition". Im actually quite sad about united front games shutting down a few months ago as I would have gladly paid for the sequel.

Dec 14, 2016Free this month on Xbox Gold and I find it more fun the GTA5.
I experienced a game breaking bug in the story, and can't proceed. Hopefully a reinstall resolves the bug.
Its refreshing to drive on the left side of the road in somewhere other than the US.
Melee combat can be insanely infuriating.
The idea of balancing cop and criminal is nice. -

Dec 26, 2017After the two mediocre True Crime games, we had abandoned all hope for a good project by United Front Games. Sleeping Dogs proved us wrong. It's a great, open world game, with beautiful graphics, engaging gameplay and one of the most interesting stories this genre has to offer.

Nov 5, 2019It's imprescindible, one of the best sandbox i ever played. With an impressive recreation from Hong Kong, nice graphics, history and my favorite part of the game, the playability on fighting. Highly recomended!!!

Nov 16, 2021After playing the disappointing GTA definitive edition (that terrible remaster we all know), Sleeping dogs feels like a masterpiece. The gameplay and scenary id better than the main story, which is really enjoyable and fascinating. 'Sides, the dlc packs make it better.

Jan 21, 2015The only mode to feel completely finished is Nightmare in North Point, which pits the player against an army of hopping vampires and a few resurrected faces from the main storyline.
-
Oct 30, 2014Packed with content, all of the DLCs that have come out since the original game and upgraded graphics, this GTA clone will keep you happy till the "real deal" (GTAV) comes to the next-gen.

Oct 21, 2014The terrific melee combat system and intriguing story are more than enough to warrant a recommendation to anyone yet to play it, but if you’ve experienced the streets of Hong Kong before then the slightly sharper visuals and included DLC are a tougher sell.
