It will only take you a lazy Sunday afternoon to finish the main campaign elements but the amount of collectibles and items you can level up gives this expansion plenty of wheels. Saints Row fans rejoice as this is a solid purchase for $20 bucks.

For those never venturing into Saints Row IV this is a must-buy, and for those that did, Gat Out of Hell is a solid expansion that should satiate the hunger for the inevitable Saints Row V we all hope is coming sooner rather than later.

Interestingly, Gat Out of Hell doesn't really feature traditional story missions. Instead, it tasks you with completing handfuls of side activities for its condemned supporting characters, and triggers cutscenes once you've finished a certain number of them. It's an odd, somewhat repetitive approach, although making side tasks key to story progression does make them feel a lot more worthwhile.

Gat Out of Hell comes up short in mission variety, but concludes in a tantalizing way: with five different endings.

There are only two fixed protagonists that the game allows you to play as, and you can't customize their outfits or anything else at all. Apart from that, this game mostly recycles content from the previous installment, even the graphics pretty much are the same. This game doesn't cost as much as other titles, but it is still too expensive for pretty much being a DLC sold as an own game. You should wait for a discount if you're still interested in playing this game. Full Review »

It's the same gun gameplay we've come to expect from this series. The real issue is just how short and uneventful it is. 20 dollars is pushing it. You'll finish it off in under 6 hours unless your a hardcore completionist. Not bad. mostly underwhelming. Full Review »
