    We had to wait and wait some more but finally everyone can experience Quantum Break. It has become another Remedy succes and I hope it finds a way to many gamers hearts. It really deserves that.

    Phenomenal game. Beautiful graphics, amazing character likenesses, a time travel story that actually makes sense, fun (albeit limited) combat that makes you feel like a superhero, and a really great TV show woven in. I absolutely loved this game. Even the collectibles were interesting to read.

    I really loved this game, im thinking about re-playing it a lot, but i have to admit that it isn't perfect, well, the story is perfect, but there are some technical issues, and one thing that really made me sad was the changes they did from the beginning in 2013, like the scene from the first trailer, the one the older actor says "im not gonna hurt you but i cant let you go". This sceneI really loved this game, im thinking about re-playing it a lot, but i have to admit that it isn't perfect, well, the story is perfect, but there are some technical issues, and one thing that really made me sad was the changes they did from the beginning in 2013, like the scene from the first trailer, the one the older actor says "im not gonna hurt you but i cant let you go". This scene was so intense, but now in the final release it is not memorable as it was before, because that scene has been in my head for the last 3 years, and they ruined it :(.     Me parece una excelente historia, y me gusto mucho el formato de incluir una serie como complemento. Jugablemente muy pulido y no he notado problemas de bugs u otros errores. Un juego imprescindible en mi opinión.

I didn't read enough into how the "live" part was being handled and thought it would be ridiculous; gotta say, I loved it. I also liked the insight the live sections provided into the story...and I am normally the "skip this" button masher.

    As to the game. The combat overall was enjoyable; as a standalone shooter this would have been a major fail as the variety of weapons and their differentiation was very limited; but add in the time powers and the combat was quite fluid and satisfying....if a little on the easy side on Normal....which personally, I ain't complaining about :)

    Pic quality hits a few rough parts but by and large is excellent.

    While I can't remember the last game I played that was under 20 hours, I was less disappointed than I thought I would be, because.....

    The true strength of this game is the storytelling....dear lord I found this amazing. All the characters were extremely well fleshed out, to the point I can't think of a game that comes close. Particular kudos to whomever wrote for Beth.....the diary entries were the best writing I have ever seen in a video game!!    … Expand

    Soy Usuario de Xbox One y Ps4. Quantum Break es un gran juego y lo mas importante, muy diferente a lo visto hasta ahora. Aquí solo depende si te gusta o no el genero. A mi personalmente se me ha echo aburrido.
    Aún así invito a probarlo a todo el mundo. Hay que jugarlo.

    Great story, average gameplay, cool time powers, not so good covers system (chrouching like in last of us would be much better) + annoying final boss. Dear Remedy, give us Alan Wake 2 already, plaese!

    The game itself flows smoothly, has great visuals, pace, acting, and much more. I find the combat challenging without being overly so, and I enjoy that the narrative strips out some of the knitty gritty parts of the story that wouldn't be too fun to play (as in, you're basically playing the most important parts of the story). Generally I find that many games force you to travel around menially and have too many side quests and branching story lines. I appreciate when a gameplay experience is curated for me and that wins tons of bonus points for Quantum Break.

    Based on my experience I'm pretty sure all types of players will enjoy this game. The story is engaging, gameplay intense, and I'm pleased with the whole package. Definitely recommended.    … Expand

    I like games and tv series. Both is combined in QB in a great way. Playing and following the story gave me a good time. It you are looking for a big open-world with millions of things to search for - this is not your game. But if you like story and a good shooter with nice special abilities- manupulating time - give this game a try.

    Amazing game. Spectacular. Story, screenplay, etc. are amazing. I don't remember another game like this one. If you read another note below 8 ignore it. It's a hater. QB is an incredible game. Every one should enjoy something like this.

    Una mecánica innovadora pero que se podría haber aprovechado más.
    Aún así la historia está muy bien, aunque su duración es más bien corta.
    Un juego con mucho estilo y originalidad y que la Xbox One necesitaba.

    This game is really nice, The story of the game is like a movie. I wish there was online to it though because it would be more fun. The graphics looked great though the scenes the 3rd person view.

    Awesome, ambitious, captivating, amazing-looking truly next-gen experience by good folks from Remedy. I recommend anyone with an Xbox One console to own this game at some point. I still don't understand why would someone give any game a score of "zero". Unless those greedy bastards at Gamespot were trying to sabotage the game following their preconceived negative agenda.

Com certeza absoluta vai ser o jogo do ano ou goty como alguns gostam de falar, ótima narrativa e uma excelente historia sem contar o belisimo grafico 10/10, fazia tempo que eu não jogava um jogo tão bom assim, na real eu nunca joguei um jogo tão fenomenal igual esse antes, muito obrigado Remedy Entertainment e Microssoft por essa experiencia única.     Excelente juego, las historia es muy buena, graficos excelente, lo unico negativo es que es relativamente corto, en una tarde jugando sin parar se puede terminar. Ojala salga un DLC para seguir la historia.

    Der Spagat zwischen Spiel und Serie funktioniert einwandfrei und die zu treffenden Entscheidungen haben merkliche Auswirkungen auf den Verlauf
    Die Grafik ist super. Das Gameplay ist nicht perfekt, macht aber großen Spaß, trotz leicht schwammiger Steuerung Im Großen und Ganzen würde ich mir mehr und teils schwierigere Kampfpassagen    Ein sehr gutes Spiel, mit einer mitreißenden Story

    IF you like 3rd person shooters with puzzles and a good story you are gonna liked.
    But if you like Time Travel too you are gonna love this game, the mechanics are little strange but later you will get used to, and the story is short.

    Buenos gráficos teniendo en cuenta la potencia de One, la serie le da un extra que se agradece para complementar el juego y añadirle contenido, la duración es normal. En líneas generales es bueno en su género.

    un gran juego su esencia de por unas cinematicas con actores reales Wow es lo mejor... aunque sus graficos vayan a 720p no importa los efectos hacen lo suyo lo recomiendo 100%.. solo que el tiempo de las cinematicas aveses piensas que estas viendo una pelicula... por eso le pongo un 9

    De los mejores pelijuegos que he jugado,aunque si no te gustan los juegos de ese estilo,no te lo recomiendo,ya que dudo que te vaya a gustar.Pero si le quieres dar una oportunidad a algun juego de este estilo,este es totalmente recomendado.

    Ensuite... il manque encore quelque chose ! les épisodes de la série incluse ne sont pas inclus dans l'installation, bien sûr que non, ni sur un quelconque second disque (et puis quoi encore ? ça coûte du pognon les blouraies putain). Les épisodes sont lus à partir du grand réseau des Serveurs de l'Internet tout puissant. Mais dans le cas où -quand même- on aimerait avoir ça sur son disque dur (pour avoir la totale, tout sur la console, pour jouer hors ligne, que sais-je...) on peut les télécharger -gratuitement- ça ne fait que dans les 75 Go ! défi relevé pour ma part en une dizaine d'heures. Une paille. Si je sais compter, attendez je sors la calculette, ça nous fait 120 Go... record battu pour Gigas Break.

    Ces quelques détails mis à part et après avoir bien ri, on lance et on s'y met. Le temps est cassé et a besoin d'un réparateur ! c'est parti pour une dizaine d'heures (avec les épisodes de 20 mn entre chaque acte, 5 en tout) pour ce qui m'a tout l'air d'un Uncharted dans les couloirs du temps cassé. Exactement la même alternance entre du blabla, de l'escalade et une mégachiée de combats. Alors, être comparé à un Unchartiep, ce n'est pas une insulte mais c'est loin de constituer un compliment ! c'est juste "moyen". Divertissant certes mais moyen.

    C'est aussi bien évidemment une prouesse graphique, car on en prend constamment plein les mirettes dans Quantum Break. Comme dans un Uncharted en fait. Quantum Break n'a beau être qu'en 720p, l'anti-aliasing et le post-process de fou, l'éclairage, les derniers effets à la mode et tutti quanti donnent au jeu une allure de superstar. En outre, la patte graphique, la direction artistique sont de toute beauté également. Effets sonores soignés, VF excellente, musique de "blockbuster", tout y est.

    Même si The Division reste... plus impressionnant encore (Ubisoft et sa puissance de feu ont encore frappé...) mais il serait malséant de faire la fine bouche... même si le couloir Remedy reste en retrait du monde ouvert Ubisoft (ricanement sous cape).

    Les épisodes de 20 mn illustrent les choix que l'on fait à l'issue de chaque acte, une bonne idée dans un jeu aussi scénarisé qui permet quelques variantes bienvenues. Le problème, c'est qu'on s'en fout. On se fout de l'intrigue de voyage et de remontage du temps, biscornue, mal foutue et dérisoire, pas crédible une seule seconde. Si le jeu est magnifiquement réalisé, on ne peut en dire autant de la série qui fait trop bon marché : sa réalisation est déplorable (cut et move à gogo), sans direction les acteurs sont laissés à eux-mêmes et pataugent lamentablement. Bref, ça fait tiep.

    Les combats qui sont l'essentiel du jeu sont à la fois intéressants et totalement chiants. Un paradoxe temporel sans doute mais patent : ce n'est jamais satisfaisant sans être vraiment mauvais. Quantum Break n'a pas pu choisir entre un TPS à couverture strict et un TPS action à super-pouvoirs. L'interface est la responsable alors que la maniabilité en elle-même ne souffre pas de reproche. Bref, ce n'est plus la belle alchimie d'Alan Wake même si celle-ci n'a bien entendu rien à voir. Mais il est clair que pour son Quantum, Remedy a merdé quelque peu et laissé des traces de pneus au fond.

    Voilà donc le jeu pop-corn de la Xbox One bien plus intéressant qu'un Dumb Raider mais trop moyen pour être honnête : on ne s'y ennuie pas mais on ne s'y amuse pas non plus !    … Expand

    I guess I will be the 1000th review, this game is awesome. I completed the game in 14-15 hours and I'm going to have a second go with it because of the different junctions I can choose from. Excellent acting, story, graphics, audio, difficulty and setting for the game. My favorite game on any device this year, thus far.

    Quantum Break is the Remedy's absolute project. It combines a strong narrative with a solid gameplay. If you like Alan Wake and Max Payne you really need play Quantum Break.

Quantum Break is also quite possibly the prettiest game on Xbox One, with its glorious    Quantum Break - Unique approach to storytelling, challenging shooter action.

    Quantum Break is the type of game I have been waiting to play for a while now; a linear third person shooter that tells an engrossing story, with interesting characters from start to finish of its 10-12 hour campaign. Quantum Break is also quite possibly the prettiest game on Xbox One, with its glorious lighting effects, top notch texture quality and character models.
    Game play wise, the game is third person shooter that gives you control of Jack Joyce, a brother of a time travel inventor called Will Joyce, and best friend of Paul Serene who leads a company called Monarch Solutions, who are thought to be preparing for the end of time thanks to a fracture in time at the beginning of the game. During combat, Jack has an array of time powers to manipulate and take down enemies within gunplay, that feel satisfying and responsive.
    The audio department is also noticeably deep and well developed, as guns sound positively powerful and mechanical to use. Voice acting and performances in the game and TV episodes also feel believable and totally engaging, which help to elevate tension in the story.

    The only problems I encountered in my play through was the lack of lock on cover in combat, and occasional frame rate hiccups in cut scenes.

    Overall, Quantum Break is a must buy console exclusive for Xbox One. It looks stellar, plays solidly throughout and is well written and paced. 9/10    … Expand

    This Is an awesome game. It plays well looks amazing and has a great story.. Its a game that bring up some really interesting ideas and plays them out well. The tv show that comes included is well made . If you have a xbox one this is a game that is worth your while.. It really thinks outside the box which makes it even better . Its like nothing out there . Its a game that makes you think ..

    A good mix between a action game and a good a good series. Graphics are amazing and i spend 11h to finish the game. I buy a Xbox One for this game last year, i don't have any regrets. :)

    XD porque le han dado tan pésimas notas, si el juego es excelente lo peor es que soy nintendero y a mi si me gusto quantum break, después dicen que nosotros los nintenderos somos fanboys de mierda y la realidad es que apuesto a que esas malas notas son de sonyers, el juego es de maravilla, que le den un 7.6 es decepcionante al menos denle un 9.0 aunque se merezca un 10

    Great game. Grapichs are awesome. History is amazing.
    Remedy gives us a rich game.
    Can´t understand why these sonyboys come to Metacritic with the only goal of hating the game and giving it a bad score.
    Shame on these people, and shame on metacritic for allow such thing to happen. What was once an amazing tool became a real pain.

    QB is the best game I've played on next gen thus far... 10/10 I love the the graphics the action the mechanics the presentation the acting the seamless live action clips. I'm overwhelmed by the brilliance of this game.

    Afterall, Sony congratulated Remedy for this Master Piece. Graphics looks awesome, i can say that both versions (PC and Xbox One) look very very similar.

    Quantum Break offers an absolutely immersive, integrative, and laser-focused experience, primarily focused on narrative and content. In the current shape of the industry, it is extremely refreshing to play a game that focuses on a single aspect and presents it effectively; there is no attempt to tack on superfluous multiplayer modes or DLC.

    This game is SPECTACULAR! The game is a stunner from a technological standpoint. I don't understand the negative media reviews. My only disappointment is that the game has to end. Awesome game! If you love cinema this is an opus to cinema and pulling it off from a technological stand point is amazing.

    We have to asume it, this game is the game of the last generation. The script as the art, OST and graphics are an ode that perfectly sounds in a symphony. The idea that had of combine the video games and a tv-serie creates a perfect round set! A must have video game if you are a lover of the video games.

However, the only reason I have not given this game a perfect score is due to its ending, although by the time I put down my controller after completion I felt satisfied, it gave me the outcome I was hoping for and left a hint for a sequel or DLC but the aspect of choosing at these junctions through out the game and seeing how different they are, it in no way changes the outcome of the game, not even in the slightest. But other than that it holds up well kept me playing, for me it was a decent length, took me around 9-10 hours on normal, including the TV that was acted well with great cinematography. All in all the game is a solid 9/10 and hope to see future remedy games in this universe once again, but I could do with another Alan Wake too though so keep at it Remedy!… Expand

    Amazing game, spent about 20 hours on my first run through. There is actually more content then I expected. So many things to read and observe to pull you further into the immersion of the game.     My favorite thing about Quantum Break is that it isn't your typical video game. I love the fact that it is like playing through a television series as the lead character with a chose your own adventure element. Once I finish the game I can't wait to go back and make different decisions to see how things change.     Wow this is embarrassing! How can some one give something like this a 0??? I mean people are really stupid. 0 -40 is how you rate a game like "Ride to Hell" or "Rambo" not a game that was developed for many years with lots of effort and passion. I must say that I'm more of a PS4 gamer myself but come the **** on people. This deserves at least a strong 8 or more.

    Muy buen juego, la historia es interesante y muy bien contada, se complementa bien con la serie. En cuanto a la jugabilidad las mecánicas si bien no son revolucionarias aparecen como interesantes y dan buenas opciones para combinar movimientos lo que le da un poco mas de dinamismo a un juego en que la historia y su forma de contarla son su fuerte.

    Well, after 2 hours playing I started to enjoy it. The history is very good and when you learn all skills you can do nice combos.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a preliminary review as i have only completed the 1st act and watched episode 1 of the show but as it stands im very impressed with what i have played.

    The story is fairly fast paced once the time fracture happens (within the 1st 15 or so minutes in the game) and it keeps at a very steady pace throughout that first act which took me about 2 hours to complete, will probabily go faster for other people but i was reading and collecting things along the way.

    The mechanics are somewhat a little clunky and that's the best way i can describe them but it does not distract from the overall enjoyment of the game ( or at least the 1st act in my case).

    Graphically the game is amazing, how they captured the likeness of shawn ashmore, goes a long way in selling this story, his voice over is equally very good, although some people may find the story to be a bit cliche, i certainly have not, at least not yet anyway.

    The T.V episode that i have seen is very well put togeather and acted out very well, not really much i can say about the T.V side of things as it pertains the bad guys version of events throughout the game and i dont want to give out any major spoilers, at least not yet anyway.

    So overall i am very impressed with the game and i am tentatively giving it a 9 out of 10, this may change by the time i have finished the game.    … Expand

    After years of delays and little gameplay quantum break's time has finally come and though I can't see it as being a system seller or worth the wait, it still is an entirely enthralling game with some great ideas and a stellar tv show entertwined with a solid and enjoyable third person scifi shooter. The story here is fantastic and reminded me a lot of life is strange meets jason Bourne and is thoroughly gripping and immersive. The graphics are some of the best I've seen on the Xbox one and the effects are phenomenal. The story is confusing at first but starts to make a lot more sense with each Playthrough which is a good thing because everytime I played I learned something new that I didn't catch my first time around. The story also changes but it all leads to the same confusion. You see, this game is a strange one as you get to play the hero, Jack Joyce as he shoots his way to the truth and the villain, who I won't spoil, chooses what to do with loose ends and such. It's entirely up to the player to decide what the bad guy decides and the story changes depending on your choices, which alters what happens in the tv show. Yes there is a show in the game which is actually pretty good and focuses more on the evil monarch corporation. Each episode of the show is thirty minutes and there are four episodes throughout the game. The only complaint I have here really is the limited gameplay. Not counting the tv episodes, the game took me about 5 or 6 hours to complete. The show equals together about 2 hours altogether. It's a pretty short game and as good and fun as it can be its just not worth the $60 asking price. Don't get me wrong it's a GREAT game and I hope it becomes a potential new series for remedy to work with but it just doesn't have much lasting appeal. I rate this game an 8/10. It's a fantastic experience but one that is short lived.    … Expand

The acting gives me an action-filled Bourne Trilogy kind of vibe which is really great. The time effects and physics are some of the coolest things I have seen in all of videogames in terms of graphics, even with Xbox One resolution/framerates.     The game is awesome. Nice looking TPS which really reminds me of the best moments in "F.E.A.R.". There's some technical issues in this thing, but you will stop paying attention to them realizing that game have much more than just pretty graphics and decent story.

As for the douchies giving this game a bad score, all you need to do is look at their review history and see that most of them play only Ps4 games so they obviously have not played QB. MC should be ashamed that they allow these reviews to factor in the average.

    I really like the game overall. The story is good, wouldn't say the best..But it kept me going the whole way through. The graphics is good, i didn't have any problem with it at all and the fps was good the whole way through. I really don't understand these PS4 fanboys.     After playing through Quantum Break in both the Xbox One and the Windows 10 versions I can say the Xbox one was the more polished version believe it or not. Now about the game Remedy has created an amazing experience and with a story line that will keep you playing and watching in some parts to see whats going to happen. The live action parts were interesting specially because it was executed in a way that shows it was part of the grand scheme all along and not just a gimmick and it works well for the game because it gives you a break in between gaming. The way this show was made shows like it could have been a show that could have been on the cancelled Xbox TV due to the backlash from 2013's E3, but Phil Spencer has been taking care of the core gamers. Now just waiting for Uncharted 4, Gears of War 4, Crack Down 3, No Man's Sky and Recore plus any E3 announcements.    … Expand

    Wow is all I can say. Didn't know what to expect due to all of the mixed reviews I can heard but I was not disappointed whatsoever. The story in this was unbelievable. As an engineer/ science nerd I was not sure If they would be able to pull of the story due to the complexity of time and space; however, they were able to avoid all paradoxes making this already interesting story evenWow is all I can say. I played on hard and rarely stayed behind cover as running around and using all of the powers was much more fun. Also the last boss battle was actually a challenge (on hard) and felt very rewarding to beat. I would have given this game a 9.5 if that were possible due to the graphics being slightly compromised by the lack of 1080p and difficulty streaming a few episodes, which were the only issues I encountered.… Expand

    What the hell has happened to remedy?
    I was really looking forward to this game because remedy used to be a very good developer. Where to start graphically the game is pretty good despite the resolution being 720p it looked good. There is a really strange blur when character move with a ghosting effect that was pretty irritating. Unfortunately the same can't be said    Buy when on sale.

    Unfortunately the same can't be said for the games animations, they are terrible straight from last gen.
    It doesn't help that the game hasn't got a proper cover system,so instead jack bobs up and down all the time when going near cover.(it looks hilarious actually)
    The shooting is serviceable but not great the cover system doesn't work and movement is janky as hell
    Its all extremely disappointing for a game that's been in development for so long.
    And who's ever thought putting low budget tv shows In the middle of the game need firing.
    Only buy if you've got nothing to play and its on sale because unfortunately this game is trash.
    Hopefully remedy next game will be much better because this was pretty terrible :(    … Expand

Afterwards I recognized all the good new ideas got channeled into old ideas (like grenades are something different than a grenade still effect is still the same).     The overall gameplay of Quantum break is probably equally divided by platforming segments and action segments. The basic shooting mechanics are nothing special (especially in comparison to other third person action shooters like Gears of War), but once you get all of your time powers, oh man. Each different time power has it's own cooldown rate, so you're encouraged to combine multiple powers in a firefight. To balance all the time powers the game gives you progressively stronger enemies to counter your time powers throughout the game. After beating the game, I found that I would've liked more of these firefights/encounters in the game. The other half of the gameplay let's you solve time puzzles and jump from platform to plantform in order to get to the next area. I found the puzzles a little bit too easy and the controls for the platforming sections felt a little bit off at times. When you're not shooting bad guys, or trying to solve platforming puzzles, you're probably searching for clues/collectibles throughout the level. Personally i'm not a fan of reading material within a game, but I found myself reading the different kinds of intel in Quantum Break, because they help with explaining the overall world and story of Quantum Break and what a story it is.... Without going into spoilers, Quantum Break tells a story about a time expirement gone wrong and you, (Jack Joyce) are here to find a solution for the outcome of the experiment. I found that the story was great aswell and explained in a way that made sense to me (especially considering the subject of the story is time itself). There's also a 20 minute TV show episode after each of Quantum Break's acts. Here you see the prospective of the "bad guys" as they react to the player's actions. The overall quality of the TV show is pretty good although it won't hold up to the likes of Game of Thrones or something.

    In this day and age there are little games like Quantum Break, thanks to its compelling story and great gameplay. I strongly encourage Xbox and PC owners to try it, you won't be disappointed.    … Expand

    Quantum Break is a game that blends TV, and gameplay, and take some big risks.

    The story in QB is well paced, we acted, and for a time travel story, actually makes sense. The characters are interesting, and the way it is put together is great. The actors are well played, and the production values were solid, with only some scenes feeling fake, while some scenes felt really cheesy, it was kept to a minimum.

    The gameplay is quick, and snappy, with the time powers really making you feel like a boss, and as you Learn new skills, you begin to learn new ways around the combat. Although the shooting mechanics, and cover system are average, they work fine in tandem with the time power mechanics. on top of this is the fact that throughout the levels is notes, and audio-logs that add to the story, however i wished that some of the more important stuff was left to the cut-scenes/show. The one big disappointment was the boss battle, which felt tacked on and was poorly designed,

    The graphics were pleasant, with this being a smooth looking game, with no noticeable frame rate drops, or bugs, at-least in my experience.

    Overall i feel as though Quantum Break is a great game that gets a lot right, and all while taking a big risk merging TV with video games. and i feel as though it was a success.    … Expand

    Quantum Break is an incredible game that will hook you for its ten hour duration and stay with you long after that. The story is packed with mystery, suspense, and engaging characters caught in a high stakes situation where every decision is significant. While adding TV show may not have revolutionized storytelling, Quantum Break is a must play game for those looking to sink their teeth into a meaningful adventure.
