    Tellement frais que c'est toujours du "jeu" de plate-formes pourries, péraves et pouravenazes comme on en faisait depuis... euh l'antiquité informatique. Et bien entendu en 2D ou 2D et demi comme ici et en un peu plus de couleurs que l'étron indé standard, certes. Cela reste néanmoins super gnéééé avec une palette gnéééé, ce qui signifie un jeu de gnéééé...

    Car on dirige le petit lutin mongolien dans sa forêt de merde (je te raserais tout ça, moi, au bulldozer !) qui doit euh sauver la forêt, tu vois et aider sa copine la chouette ou un truc dans le genre bien niais parce que tout est super niais ici, on se croirait dans un jeu japoniais ! sauf que pour une fois, ils n'ont rien à voir avec ça, non, non.

    Donc, en résumé, c'est la suite daubée habituelle de la daube initiale sans aucun intérêt sauf pour joueurs neuneus évidemment. Et un peu nais sur les bords.    … Expand

    This game is a buggy, not so visually appealing mess.
    I’d rather play an EA game for 10 hours than buy this. I regret my purchase

    Where this game really shines, is in its art direction. From music to environment, this game oozes that feeling of natural fantasy. Couple that with crisp game-play, multiple visually stunning settings, and you have a sequel that lives up to, and in my mind surpasses, even its acclaimed predecessor.

    I'm here again I play this game just a few hours ago and damn again just like the first one, this game is a Masterpiece like a poem to the heart and soul. I tell you something if you play this gorgeous game you never gonna forget this amazing adventure and characters my Game of the Year my Goat always this beautiful franchise 10/10.

    Graphics are bad compared to first game and yes I do know that this is all like hand drawn but when I turn first game it's not blurry and background parts not a low-poly 2D cartoons, really disappointed by this degradation.     Un poco decepcionado con este juego, supongo que esperaba mucho más tras leer algunas críticas. En cuanto a diseño artístico el juego es muy bonito, pero jugablemente otros juegos del estilo, como Hollow Knight o incluso Celeste me parece que están muy por encima.

    Much like the first game, a marvel of a masterpiece. Expands on so much in this sequel. If you like Metroid-like platformers and side-scrollers, this is the cream of the crop.

    Buggy. Following from such a gorgeous, simple yet deceptively tricky in parts platformer, they’ve clearly followed the tried and true formula of “More of the same, with upgrades”.
    Which is great, but to release such a bug riddled sequel is unforgivable in these times, with such a simple game.

    A beautiful game with a narrative just deep enough to be evocative without cramping the style of the slick 2D action platforming, all components of which are fleshed out and developed.
    Themes of family dealt with extremely well.
    The best game of 2020 so far.

    Ori and the will of the wisps is really beautiful and fluid in the gameplay, but it's hella boring and forgettable. It's over in 100% in 12hrs and there's absolutely no difficulty if you have a brain. You can abuse the map with some technical jump. I think it's the greatest deception i've had in 2020

    Will of the wisps is an amazing linear experience, with improved combat, emotional story, and pretty good platforming. The side content and metroidvania elements, however was underwhelming. I wouldn't try to 100% the game on your first playthrough, because I think I would've enjoyed this game more if I hadn't tried to look for everything.    … Expand

    2015’s “Ori and the Blind Forest” was one of the few games that made me want to get an Xbox One. I’ve often played more of Nintendo and Sony’s first-party titles, and it always seemed like Xbox lagged behind them in terms of exclusives. The first “Ori” title, though, grabbed my attention early and often, and after playing it, it quickly became one of my favorite games. The game grabbed me2015’s “Ori and the Blind Forest” was one of the few games that made me want to get an Xbox One. I’ve often played more of Nintendo and Sony’s first-party titles, and it always seemed like Xbox lagged behind them in terms of exclusives. The first “Ori” title, though, grabbed my attention early and often, and after playing it, it quickly became one of my favorite games. The game grabbed me right from the start and never let me go, and it was a phenomenal journey that, in a lot of ways, helped me to appreciate 2D platformers a bit more than I had in the past. So, when “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” was announced, I was unbelievably hyped. In a lot of ways, with the Xbox Series X coming soon, and a lack of strong Xbox One exclusives this year, I sort of treated this new “Ori” sequel as something of a “swan song” for the Xbox One. Yes, I’m aware that “Bleeding Edge” came after, but given that the game received mixed reception (and didn’t carry much of my interest anyway), and that “Halo Infinite” being more touted as a Series X game, I felt that “Ori” was the more appropriate “swan song” for the Xbox One for me. Largely because…well, the game is pretty damn fantastic!
    “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” takes what made the first game great, and builds on it to create an even better experience. The visuals, as you would expect, are stunning, and the art style remains a wonder to behold. So much love went into crafting this game’s design, and the end result is some of the Xbox One’s best graphics, I would say. In terms of gameplay, “Ori” continues to hit the mark. The original game already had fantastic platforming, and this game continues to have that, while also making great improvements to the combat. The bevy of options and weapons Ori has at his disposal are awesome, and the depth in regards to combat is pretty amazing, too. As always, the incredible environments in the game make way for plenty of exploration, as the overall level design is so well-crafted that you won’t mind getting lost in the game’s world. The game is regularly heart-pounding, the chase sequences are tensing, and even on the lower difficulties, the game once again provides plenty of challenge without falling into the “fake difficulty” boat. The soundtrack is light and incredible, and in terms of storytelling, “Ori” once again hits the mark with a beautiful, emotional story that, once again, nearly drove me to tears. The story features a well-rounded cast of characters and plenty of moments that are sad yet extremely powerful.
    I can’t really say that I have too many problems with this game. I know a number of reviews have mentioned technical problems, and while there may have been a few minor stutters before cutscenes, I didn’t notice too many, and I don’t think anything really impeded with my enjoyment of the game. Even when I would get a bit lost in the game’s world, finding the answers proved to be very rewarding, and the overall design didn’t feel flawed as a result.
    I mentioned in my old review that “Ori and the Blind Forest” was one of the best 2D platformers I had ever played. I can safely say that “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” succeeds in the very difficult task of not only living up to that game, but also surpassing it. I’m not sure if Moon Studios will continue in the “Ori” universe from here, but if they don’t, I can say that they have created a truly phenomenal farewell to Ori’s world. Whether or not they continue on with “Ori” games, Moon Studios is a developer to keep an eye on, because they’ve proved with these games that they have something really special. And with the Xbox One in its final months, whatever polarizing thoughts there might be on the console when we look back on it retrospectively, it’s great to see that “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” help it to end its life on a high note. If you haven’t played this yet, please…do yourself a favor. It’s really an incredible game.

    Ok so, BF was awesome, FUN and flowed to the finish. Well, Wisps is going to crack you. I think the devs want some sort of hero badge for hardest platform ever. They actually built in cheats to hack your jumps FFS, and navigation makes no sense. You will have to search YT every 10 minutes for the hidden clues that nobody will ever spot/ fail.

    Es ist einfach wunderschön. Es ist nochmal viel besser als sein Vorgänger und hat auch noch meinen größten Kritikpunkt beseitigt. Das Kampfsystem ist endlich gut! Ich war komplett begeistert. Natürlich war die Story auch total emotional. Das Ende hat mich wirklich hart getroffen. Die Erkundung der Welt war super!

    Kann eigentlich nicht viel mehr sagen als.. SPIELT ES!

With a relaxed pace playthrough lasting me just over 12Its visuals are beautiful, its gameplay satisfying, its music powerful, and its story touching. Since I completed Ori and the Blind Forest a couple of years ago, a followup had been high on my list of anticipated games, and I am beyond happy to say that Ori and the Will of the Wisps gave me everything I wanted in a sequel and more. With a relaxed pace playthrough lasting me just over 12 hours, the launch price of $29.99 is well worth the cost of entry. The performance of the game was excellent on my PC (980 Ti/i5 6600k/16 GB DDR4) that is approaching 5 years old, and aside from a couple of minor audio/visual bugs that did not impact my gameplay experience, the game was incredibly well polished for its day one release, which is refreshing in this day and age. I don't know whether Moon Studios plans on making Ori into a trilogy/saga, or if they will explore new ideas for their next project, but they have certainly gained my loyalty as a fan and I will be eagerly awaiting their next story.… Expand

    I really enjoyed Ori 2 a lot. I struggled to get into the first game because of its save system and long opening but Ori 2 I found more engaging from the start.
    I appreciate that it was always clear where I needed to go and the warping system made it easy to cross the map. There were a few sections which weren't super fun like a section in which you have to navigate through the dark but    I really enjoyed Ori 2 a lot.     The other issue I ran into was that it crashed as soon as I beat the final boss. I was still able to watch the ending on YouTube but that still kind of sucked.

Este es arte, este juego pone a los videojuegos son arte, la música, jugabilidad, historia y su buena implementación de un metroidvania hace creer de nuevo que el videojuego se disfruta, como disfrute y sigo disfrutando de un videjuego a un que tenga poco presupuesto hace creer que cuando un estudio tiene talento y se dedica a plasmar una obra maestra y para mi esta segunda parte sobre pasa a la primera que son pocas partes que sobrepasan a la primera parte y este juego lo a logrado yo sí lo recomiendo… Expand

Gráficamente es el juego más bonito que he visto en mi vida, un cuadro en movimiento, la banda sonora es ESPECTACULAR y jugablemente es lo más satisfactorio y preciso que he podido jugar en los 15 años que llevo en esto. Mejora en TODO al original, que meSimplemente el mejor plataformas en 2d jamás creado por muchísimo, posiblemente también mejor plataformas como tal de la historia. Gráficamente es el juego más bonito que he visto en mi vida, un cuadro en movimiento, la banda sonora es ESPECTACULAR y jugablemente es lo más satisfactorio y preciso que he podido jugar en los 15 años que llevo en esto. Mejora en TODO al original, que me parecía de lo mejorcito de la década, aunque pierda quizá un poco de la esencia que tenía el primero, pero es mucho más juego. El único punto malo que le puedo poner al juego es que iba fatal en xbox one donde yo lo jugué, pero al poco lo arreglaron y va de cine en todos los lados ya.

Now for money we get a bit dicey, because if you aren't all about side scrolling, puzzle platforming games then this is a definite pass. The game isn't easy even if it looks all cute and cuddly it is rather challenging. II am very happy Metrovania games are making a come back and Ori and the Will if the Wisps is exactly that. That being said I still love the world and the characters. You end up caring about Ori so hardcore even though he doesn't ever say a word. This is a prime example on how to do cute animals without giving them a stupid voice or some dumb catch phrase. The story is very compelling to the point that even when the game is frustrating you want to just keep going to see what happens next. This game also has a ton to do in it. Enough side missions to keep one busy, or if you're so incline you can just shoot for the ending the side missions are actually optional. I give the game credit because I think that some games lost sight of that at some point. Anyways this game is beautiful and fun to play I think that if you're looking for a non-shooter style game Ori and the Will of the Wisps is something to look at.… Expand

    Wasn't a fan. Will of the Wisps solves basically all the issues I had with the first. It's even prettier than the first game.     It's even prettier than the first game. The different locales all look and feel different, and the level design is improved.

    The action is also better this time around. Instead of shooting tiny dumb sparks, Ori has a cool spectral sword. Secondary weapons involve a wimpy bow, a grenade-like projectile, a Guilty Gear Burst, and a massive exploding spear.

    The spear is awesome.

    And the improved arsenal actually comes in useful in the brand spanking new boss fights. Boss fights! In an Ori game! They're actually pretty fun if a bit messy.

    I still have the odd issue here and there. Some late-game platforming can get frustrating, though it's not as bad as some of the stuff from the first game. The final form of the final boss actually confused me, I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Was I supposed to find a platform that was off-screen, like in the previous steps of the boss fight? Where's the boss attacking from? What's with all this smoke? I can't see anything, help a brother out.

    Anywho, that issue only took a few minutes to resolve, and is a pretty minor blemish on this very good game. The story even has some poignant moments.

    Will of the Wisps won't make it onto my all-time favorite list, but it is extremely well made. It's gorgeous, touching, and just plain fun.    … Expand

    Espetacular! A estória está mais fantástico e completa que o primeiro jogo. Os gráficos e principalmente a música e efeitos sonoros, são emocionantes. Não dá pra parar de jogá-lo. Está tranquilamente entre os top 3 jogos mais lindos e gostosos que já joguei.
    É desafiador, mas a medida que você evolui, adquiri novas habilidadea, é impossível não terminar os desafios.

    A beautiful and surprisingly emotion adventure. Ori and the Will of the Wisps improves on nearly everything that made it's predecessor so great. With a better combat system, new abilities, and shocking moments that kinda makes you question it's E rating. While it doesn't run perfectly on PC or console, it didn't stop me from wanting to finish this adventure.

    Realmente um jogo incrível, respeitando o primeiro e sendo até melhor, não cansei de jogá-lo e ainda quero ver como será na versão de Xbox Series X futuramente, super recomendo a quem não conhece e tem dúvidas em pegar esse jogo. Apenas pegue!

    How should I describe Ori? Wonderful graphics, gameplay that is perfect to the point, incredibly beautiful music and a story that touched my heart more than once. Ori is simply the best Metroidvania I have ever played. some Sony fanboys can't change that here either.

    This game has been overlooked. It's great in every area, from art design to gameplay, from sound effects to score. It doesn't have digital sports cards or machine guns, so it will never sell as well as the big dogs, but Ori's quality is extremely high.

    Overcoming your predecessor, Ori and the will of the wisps gives you happiness, a wonderful and unbelievable scenario in certain points. It gives you charismatic and funny NPC'S, which only help to color the story even more. It gives you an exceptional and fluid mechanical gameplay in addition to a good range of skills. A splendid game, absolutely a must-play game.

    The story killed me and even made my cry a little.
    Compared to Ori and the Blind Forest, you have much more abilities and skills, so you have more opportunities for your playstyle. You need already good skill in the early game.
    The graphics and the sounds are breathtaking as well.

    I CRIED LIKE A LIL BABY IN THE END! And totally wasn't expecting for that!! Such a gorgeous game, so hard and yet so fluid to play...

    If you haven’t played the original, it’s completely worth it just to play this. They somehow managed to top Blind Forest which was already an amazing game with even more beautiful music, deeper story, and reworked combat and gameplay.

    Xbox no nos ha mantenido con juegos constantes en esta generación y ahora nos sorprende con un juego 2D que gráficamente se ve hermoso pero no deja de aprovechar del hardware de una Xbox one x.

    Podría decir que este es el juego mas hermoso del año 2020. Sin duda Ori vuelve a revivir lo que son los juegos Metroidvania, sus colores, banda sonora e historia son realmente increíbles. Podría ser el Goty 2020 pero hay competencia muy fuerte.

    The perfect second part for the first Ori. Level design, art and, at first place, the AMAZING soundtrack make this game a 10/10 for me. This is literally the best soundtrack I've heard on a videogame. By itself, it tells all the story.
    Also, story is simple but very well executed, with some surprises. Just buy the game and play it to enjoy an amazing, beautiful and very emotional experience.

Its visual style, themes, and engrossing score distinguish it from others in its space. Its fluid sense of movement and fast-paced combat make it a blast to play, with plenty of hidden challenges to uncover. Ori and the Will of the Wisps will please fans of the original and anyone looking for an engrossing adventure steeped in natural mystery and wonder.

    I actually haven’t played the first Ori so I can’t compare the two nor do I have a bias based on how much I enjoyed the previous installment. I would wait for some patches before attempting this game. It’s excellent, there’s no doubt about it, but when things don’t work you become robbed of the experience. Still, it’s better than most platformers out there, even with the issues.

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps is everything you could want from a sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest. It isn’t a revolutionary new step forward for the series by any means, but it does an excellent job of building upon all the core concepts that made Ori and the Blind Forest so fantastic, whilst also adding enough new features to justify its title as a sequel, rather than an additional DLC expansion. If you haven’t played through Ori and the Blind Forest (you should), Ori and the Will of the Wisps is worth jumping into regardless, as it polishes the Ori formula to a shine and is an incredible experience in its own right.
