The game has beautiful visuals, but I had a real challenge with already 1st boss wolf on a normal difficulty, which did not at all correspond to the overall game difficulty before the encounter. Boss fight require some sharp actions, but clumsy controls don't really make it easy, neither the overall mechanics when you end up in a corner with no way to avoid hits and die instantly. "abandon challenge" option in a pause menu tells something anyway - instead of balancing the gameplay, lets just add an option to skip some parts of it.
Seems like another game which make up difficulty not by gameplay challenges, but overall controls and mechanics clumsiness.

Buen plataformas y graficos buenos para el tipo de juego que es, el soundtrack muy bueno pero en cuanto a historia realmente como juego es algo que no llega a ser memorable, recomendado porque me gusto la primera parte tambien

Loved the first one this one is almost UNPLAYABLE ON A LAUNCH XBOX 1. Crazy frame drops. This is insane. I cant support a game that comes out like this even after a day one patch then they have the balls to ask devs to change the score after the patch lol

The amount of bugs, glitches, and crashes I've faced playing this game has been crazy... Wasted my money.

Too buggy to play. Really disappointed. Was looking forward to this for a long time. Performance is terrible on the Xbox One. Selecting the map takes several second. The game plays in slow motion. Talking to characters freezes the game until you quit and re-open.

I absolutely love this game but it is completely 100% unplayable on xbox1 S or X. It is so frustrating that whenever you enter a new area or cutscene the game literally hard freezes

WAY too hard for casual gamer, so not at all enjoyable.
Also, it still has too many bugs and glitches, so unfortunately, the game is unplayable.

Game looks like the first, short duration, tried to do what the original game did but failed miserably.

This game is an absolute masterpiece, from the graphics, to the emphasis on movement, to the soundtrack, and Ori of the things that really stands out is the combat. Though the story can be vague and unmeaningful for some people, I honestly think this game can rival the likes of red dead redemption with its story. Easy 10/10, no flaws sound whatsoever.

Anybody who rated this game a 10 clearly either hasn't played it, or just rated it based on a trailer.

Xbox One X performance is absolutely atrocious. The Day 1 patch was unable to fix the constant slowdowns to 5FPS whenever there is intense lighting on-screen (which is often). The physics are very buggy, they randomly glitch-out requiring a full restart of the game. Ori is a 2.5D

Ori is a 2.5D platformer with painted environments, it shouldn't be taxing for performance at all. The gameplay has potential but it currently isn't much fun to play in slow-motion every 15 seconds.

Should we wait a few months for the inevitable 'Definitive Edition' rerelease, like the first game when it became unfixable?

The story is good and there is potential for fun but it's currently very broken. Wait for patches / rerelease in a few months.

It's just repetitive game that you won't find so much fun on it. You really need to be patient to play it cause I'm pretty sure most of people will give up before finish it.

Nice graphics and interesting gameplay, BUT totally unplayable due to hundreds of glitches and hangs per minute. It's abusing the name of the first Ori game.
Plus, the boss enemies are way too hard and it's impossible to change the difficulty mid-game.
Very frustrating experience playing this game with my kid and being stuck on a boss for weeks..

    The game is very buggy.
    The gameplay sucks.
    The visuals are uninspiring.

In general not what i was expecting. I was hyped for this game but it prooved to be just another paper in the bin

Was this supposed to be the game to beat all platformers?
Cause there are a lot of platformers better than this buggy mess

What i’ve learned is to never rate a game based on trailers and marketing.
This game is a buggy, not so visually appealing mess.
I’d rather play an EA game for 10 hours than buy this. I regret my purchase

Graphics are bad compared to first game and yes I do know that this is all like hand drawn but when I turn first game it's not blurry and background parts not a low-poly 2D cartoons, really disappointed by this degradation. Also encountered few bugs and some annoying ones like Ori being twitching like a sausage on a barbecue when he stands still on a fallen trees and some other textures.Graphics are bad compared to first game and yes I do know that this is all like hand drawn but when I turn first game it's not blurry and background parts not a low-poly 2D cartoons, really disappointed by this degradation. I guess they could fix that little bugs but graphics I thinks impossible to fix if they already use highest resolution of them. This really ruined my first expression but I'll try to continue to play.

PS: also apparentely it won't allow you to use Shadowplay so you need to use their Game Bar, that is not working correctly and won't record you boss fights etc...

Ori and the will of the wisps is really beautiful and fluid in the gameplay, but it's hella boring and forgettable. It's over in 100% in 12hrs and there's absolutely no difficulty if you have a brain. You can abuse the map with some technical jump. I think it's the greatest deception i've had in 2020

Its one of the best platform games i've ever played, both this and it prequel are amazing. They are hard, but in a good way, there are certain levels where you think , wows this is hard, there really should be a save point half way through, but its a game that rewards you if you master it

Xbox no nos ha mantenido con juegos constantes en esta generación y ahora nos sorprende con un juego 2D que gráficamente se ve hermoso pero no deja de aprovechar del hardware de una Xbox one x.
El juego se puede ejecutar perfectamente en switch

Ori and the Will of the Wisps may not feel as vital as the original did when it debuted, but fans of the genre would be foolish to overlook the sequel. Its visual style, themes, and engrossing score distinguish it from others in its space. Its fluid sense of movement and fast-paced combat make it a blast to play, with plenty of hidden challenges to uncover. Ori and the Will of the Wisps will please fans of the original and anyone looking for an engrossing adventure steeped in natural mystery and wonder.

I actually haven’t played the first Ori so I can’t compare the two nor do I have a bias based on how much I enjoyed the previous installment. I would wait for some patches before attempting this game. It’s excellent, there’s no doubt about it, but when things don’t work you become robbed of the experience. Still, it’s better than most platformers out there, even with the issues.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is everything you could want from a sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest. It isn’t a revolutionary new step forward for the series by any means, but it does an excellent job of building upon all the core concepts that made Ori and the Blind Forest so fantastic, whilst also adding enough new features to justify its title as a sequel, rather than an additional DLC expansion. If you haven’t played through Ori and the Blind Forest (you should), Ori and the Will of the Wisps is worth jumping into regardless, as it polishes the Ori formula to a shine and is an incredible experience in its own right.
