    Where this game really shines, is in its art direction. From music to environment, this game oozes that feeling of natural fantasy. Couple that with crisp game-play, multiple visually stunning settings, and you have a sequel that lives up to, and in my mind surpasses, even its acclaimed predecessor.

    This game is real masterpiece. I considered previous game (Ori and The Blind Forest) 10/10 game so was not sure how next could be better - but I was wrong as it is better! The story is well written, graphics are stunning (especially if you have 4K HDR), scenes are charming, music is so strong and the most important - gameplay is such a fun that even without graphics, music etc. the gameThis game is real masterpiece.     Ori and the Will of the Wisps takes the metroidvania genre to new heights. The visuals are stunning, and there is so much variety in how the world looks and feels. The combat is much deeper than in the first game, as Ori now has a sword, and a bow and arrow, along with other tools for combat at her disposal. This new depth to the combat is complemented by enemies that are beautifullyOri and the Will of the Wisps takes the metroidvania genre to new heights. There are characters that will you encounter throughout your journey that can give you side quests and new options for combat. The mechanics that are introduced throughout the game are, for the most part, extremely satisfying to play with, however some of them are frustrating and feel unnecessary. Even without any of these mechanics, Ori moves so fluidly that the game can be hard to put down. Backing all of this fun gameplay is a magnificent story, a killer soundtrack, and heartwarming characters.     Haven't seen a more beautiful game. Amazing music, amazing effects and i felt so attached to the story throughout the game recommended to play on Xbox Series X at 6K mode. Just si sharp and treat to watch.

    Simplemente el mejor plataformas en 2d jamás creado por muchísimo, posiblemente también mejor plataformas como tal de la historia. Gráficamente es el juego más bonito que he visto en mi vida, un cuadro en movimiento, la banda sonora es ESPECTACULAR y jugablemente es lo más satisfactorio y preciso que he podido jugar en los 15 años que llevo en esto. Mejora en TODO al original, que meSimplemente el mejor plataformas en 2d jamás creado por muchísimo, posiblemente también mejor plataformas como tal de la historia. Gráficamente es el juego más bonito que he visto en mi vida, un cuadro en movimiento, la banda sonora es ESPECTACULAR y jugablemente es lo más satisfactorio y preciso que he podido jugar en los 15 años que llevo en esto.     Jogo simplesmente fantástico. Gráficos absurdamente lindos e com ótima performance em qualquer console. Direção de arte magnifica. Gameplay fluída e desafiadora na medida certa. A história é simplesmente emocionante e concisa. É um jogo que todos deveriam jogar.

    Improves upon the first (wonderful) game in almost every aspect. Wonderful gameplay, story, art direction and soundtrack. Ori has it all 9.5/10.

    N.B. I played this at launch on a Xbox One and there were some small technical problems - these have since been fixed. Regardless of those issues it is still in my very short list for game of the year.

    Una autentica joya, de lo mejor de microsoft, este juego demuestra que si se esfuerzan pueden hacer juegazos al nivel de sony o nintendo, el arte es hermoso la historia y jugabilidad sublimes y el mundo rebosa carisma por doquier, espero la versión de switch para jugar otra vez a esta obra maestra.

    Entre des graphismes absolument magnifique, et histoire très belle dans la continuité du premier opus, je n'ai pu que aimé, les mechanique se sont assez renouvelé et j'ai pris vraiment goût à finir chaque succès sur ce jeux.

    This game is a gem. I finished 100% an can highly recommend to play this game.
    The story killed me and even made my cry a little.
    Compared to Ori and the Blind Forest, you have much more abilities and skills, so you have more opportunities for your playstyle. You need already good skill in the early game.
    The graphics and the sounds are breathtaking as well.

    This game is an absolute masterpiece, from the graphics, to the emphasis on movement, to the soundtrack, and Ori of the things that really stands out is the combat. Though the story can be vague and unmeaningful for some people, I honestly think this game can rival the likes of red dead redemption with its story. Easy 10/10, no flaws sound whatsoever.

    Amazing game I highly recommend this to everyone. The story is very deep and emotional, the beautiful hand-drawn art is amazing in everyway, and the new combat features make the game even better than the first (which is already a perfect game)
    The game length for the average gamer is around 20 hours, it took me 30 hours just to finish the story though (that was through a blind playthrough though)

    This game is a step up from its predecessor in almost every possible way. The combat is fluid, art is beautiful, music is memorable, exploration fun and the story engaging. Aside some weird random stutters and the perceivably lower difficulty, this game is amazing. Even if Metroidvania-style games are not your cup of tea, you should not let this gem pass you by.

    A beautiful and surprisingly emotion adventure. Ori and the Will of the Wisps improves on nearly everything that made it's predecessor so great. With a better combat system, new abilities, and shocking moments that kinda makes you question it's E rating. While it doesn't run perfectly on PC or console, it didn't stop me from wanting to finish this adventure.

    This game is by far one of my most favorite games yet. Incredible story, AMAZING DETAILS, awesome characters, and insanely fun. I've never been a huge fan of platformers but I'm completely blown away from this. Good job devs!

    Xbox no nos ha mantenido con juegos constantes en esta generación y ahora nos sorprende con un juego 2D que gráficamente se ve hermoso pero no deja de aprovechar del hardware de una Xbox one x.
    El juego se puede ejecutar perfectamente en switch

    Un poco decepcionado con este juego, supongo que esperaba mucho más tras leer algunas críticas. En cuanto a diseño artístico el juego es muy bonito, pero jugablemente otros juegos del estilo, como Hollow Knight o incluso Celeste me parece que están muy por encima.

    Podría decir que este es el juego mas hermoso del año 2020. Sin duda Ori vuelve a revivir lo que son los juegos Metroidvania, sus colores, banda sonora e historia son realmente increíbles. Podría ser el Goty 2020 pero hay competencia muy fuerte.

    2015’s “Ori and the Blind Forest” was one of the few games that made me want to get an Xbox One. I’ve often played more of Nintendo and Sony’s first-party titles, and it always seemed like Xbox lagged behind them in terms of exclusives. The first “Ori” title, though, grabbed my attention early and often, and after playing it, it quickly became one of my favorite games. The game grabbed me2015’s “Ori and the Blind Forest” was one of the few games that made me want to get an Xbox One. I’ve often played more of Nintendo and Sony’s first-party titles, and it always seemed like Xbox lagged behind them in terms of exclusives. The first “Ori” title, though, grabbed my attention early and often, and after playing it, it quickly became one of my favorite games. The game grabbed me right from the start and never let me go, and it was a phenomenal journey that, in a lot of ways, helped me to appreciate 2D platformers a bit more than I had in the past. So, when “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” was announced, I was unbelievably hyped. In a lot of ways, with the Xbox Series X coming soon, and a lack of strong Xbox One exclusives this year, I sort of treated this new “Ori” sequel as something of a “swan song” for the Xbox One. Yes, I’m aware that “Bleeding Edge” came after, but given that the game received mixed reception (and didn’t carry much of my interest anyway), and that “Halo Infinite” being more touted as a Series X game, I felt that “Ori” was the more appropriate “swan song” for the Xbox One for me. Largely because…well, the game is pretty damn fantastic!
    “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” takes what made the first game great, and builds on it to create an even better experience. The visuals, as you would expect, are stunning, and the art style remains a wonder to behold. So much love went into crafting this game’s design, and the end result is some of the Xbox One’s best graphics, I would say. In terms of gameplay, “Ori” continues to hit the mark. The original game already had fantastic platforming, and this game continues to have that, while also making great improvements to the combat. The bevy of options and weapons Ori has at his disposal are awesome, and the depth in regards to combat is pretty amazing, too. As always, the incredible environments in the game make way for plenty of exploration, as the overall level design is so well-crafted that you won’t mind getting lost in the game’s world. The game is regularly heart-pounding, the chase sequences are tensing, and even on the lower difficulties, the game once again provides plenty of challenge without falling into the “fake difficulty” boat. The soundtrack is light and incredible, and in terms of storytelling, “Ori” once again hits the mark with a beautiful, emotional story that, once again, nearly drove me to tears. The story features a well-rounded cast of characters and plenty of moments that are sad yet extremely powerful.
    I can’t really say that I have too many problems with this game. I know a number of reviews have mentioned technical problems, and while there may have been a few minor stutters before cutscenes, I didn’t notice too many, and I don’t think anything really impeded with my enjoyment of the game. Even when I would get a bit lost in the game’s world, finding the answers proved to be very rewarding, and the overall design didn’t feel flawed as a result.
    I mentioned in my old review that “Ori and the Blind Forest” was one of the best 2D platformers I had ever played. I can safely say that “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” succeeds in the very difficult task of not only living up to that game, but also surpassing it. I’m not sure if Moon Studios will continue in the “Ori” universe from here, but if they don’t, I can say that they have created a truly phenomenal farewell to Ori’s world. Whether or not they continue on with “Ori” games, Moon Studios is a developer to keep an eye on, because they’ve proved with these games that they have something really special. And with the Xbox One in its final months, whatever polarizing thoughts there might be on the console when we look back on it retrospectively, it’s great to see that “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” help it to end its life on a high note. If you haven’t played this yet, please…do yourself a favor. It’s really an incredible game.

    Única observação: joguei no Xbox one S e o game depois de 2 horas de sessão travava constantemente. Fechar e abrir já resolvia o problema. A otimização dele não foi a das melhores.

    Realmente me emocioné mucho por el anuncio de que iba a salir una nueva entrega de Ori, el primero me encanto y el segundo me focino, supera altamente a su entrega anterior, en gráficos, banda sonora, personajes y jugabilidad, una delicia de juego, un mundo mas y mas vivo, grandes misiones, bellos paisajes y con un final inesperado. Obviamente no todo es bueno, me encontré con bugs, errorRealmente me emocioné mucho por el anuncio de que iba a salir una nueva entrega de Ori, el primero me encanto y el segundo me focino, supera altamente a su entrega anterior, en gráficos, banda sonora, personajes y jugabilidad, una delicia de juego, un mundo mas y mas vivo, grandes misiones, bellos paisajes y con un final inesperado. Obviamente no todo es bueno, me encontré con bugs, error de sonido, los mapas se demoraban en cargar al dar el botón de Dash para que ori valla mas rápido, pero eso es corregible, otro es la historia, es muy sad, exageran un poco en eso, es muy predecible de lo que te ibas a encontrar.     I'm here again I play this game just a few hours ago and damn again just like the first one, this game is a Masterpiece like a poem to the heart and soul. I tell you something if you play this gorgeous game you never gonna forget this amazing adventure and characters my Game of the Year my Goat always this beautiful franchise 10/10.

    The perfect second part for the first Ori. Level design, art and, at first place, the AMAZING soundtrack make this game a 10/10 for me. This is literally the best soundtrack I've heard on a videogame. By itself, it tells all the story.
    Also, story is simple but very well executed, with some surprises. Just buy the game and play it to enjoy an amazing, beautiful and very emotional experience.

    Ori and the will of the wisps is really beautiful and fluid in the gameplay, but it's hella boring and forgettable. It's over in 100% in 12hrs and there's absolutely no difficulty if you have a brain. You can abuse the map with some technical jump. I think it's the greatest deception i've had in 2020

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps may not feel as vital as the original did when it debuted, but fans of the genre would be foolish to overlook the sequel. Its visual style, themes, and engrossing score distinguish it from others in its space. Its fluid sense of movement and fast-paced combat make it a blast to play, with plenty of hidden challenges to uncover. Ori and the Will of the Wisps will please fans of the original and anyone looking for an engrossing adventure steeped in natural mystery and wonder.

    I actually haven’t played the first Ori so I can’t compare the two nor do I have a bias based on how much I enjoyed the previous installment. I would wait for some patches before attempting this game. It’s excellent, there’s no doubt about it, but when things don’t work you become robbed of the experience. Still, it’s better than most platformers out there, even with the issues.

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps is everything you could want from a sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest. It isn’t a revolutionary new step forward for the series by any means, but it does an excellent job of building upon all the core concepts that made Ori and the Blind Forest so fantastic, whilst also adding enough new features to justify its title as a sequel, rather than an additional DLC expansion. If you haven’t played through Ori and the Blind Forest (you should), Ori and the Will of the Wisps is worth jumping into regardless, as it polishes the Ori formula to a shine and is an incredible experience in its own right.
