    Ori and The Will of The Wisps - Visually stunning and stylish this 2D platform adventure is keeping true to the original and is almost the elusive flawless sequel. Guide little Ori on his all new quest after a nice flight with your owlet friend turns perilous and you both get seperated you must find one another and get to safety. Also you will get to complete side missions helping friendly creatures you meet along the way each with their own little tale to tell, or rumor to share. Some of these nice creatures will just want to sell you upgrades for a cost, earning this spirit currency leads you to dark and dangerous places where the evil monsters are lurking, however in what is quite a subtansial upgrade over the original little Ori will gain access to various weapons to fight your way on your quest. This time around it will require a bit more skill to push your way through this dream like land, with weapons and abilities on hand like the brute power of the spear to launch through the air, or the finely tuned skill with the bow and arrow to pluck of monsters from distance or aim for a target to unlock a door or walkway, or maybe you'd just like to glide along over these hideous beasts, well this time around you can do plenty. As you progress and unlock more and more some of these will help gain you access previously blocked off to you and always makes you want to double back and check on things with each new one you acquire. Ori at it's heart is a plat-former, a beautiful and brilliant one at that, however Will of The Wisps has been brought to the table showing a clear focus on increased action for this helping. Usually such a change would be damaging but it's pulled of beautifully, timed just right to break up the focus or delving deeper and further are the boss fights, a few more than last time around and very satisfying to pass.
    As with all things as my time came to and end with Ori and The Will of The Wisps to write this review I can say wholeheartedly that this is probably the most visually beautiful games I have laid my hands on in recent years, with a well told story that you will grasp as you go along and with such sincere emotion conveyed by the characters that will really tug on the most seasoned gamers heartstrings, this game is just shy of a masterpiece. While maybe the couple if things are small that I seemed to experience and nothing game breaking, (let's face it I've played game at launch far far worse) just the rare occurence of a texture taking just a little too long to long in causing a slight black spot or the odd frame drop here and there, or loading the map seems to be less fluid and seamless as it should. In summary then: Ori and The Will of The Wisps. Beautifully made with painstakinly stunning visuals and an emotional goldmine, upgraded action / combat elements that add more to the platform roots and perfectly break up the addictive exploration aspects. Just as good, if not better than the its predecessor.    … Expand

    I can’t even imagine how much effort, effort and love was invested in this masterpiece !!

    Ori and the will of the wisps is an excellent follow up to 2015's Ori and the blind forest. It pushes the boundaries of platforming while staying true to the nature of the franchise. The soundtrack is some of the best I've heard and the gameplay is fluid and extremely responsive. The art and environments is beautifully animated and immersive.     Tão vflo quanto o primeiro e desafiador ! Primeiras batalhas bem planejadas , o unico porem é alguns golpes q não acertam alguns inimigos, as vezes passa até despercebido esse detalhe uma vez que a parte vizual do jogo enche toda a cena com detalhes belos.

    Somehow the gameplay is better than the original. The new combat mechanics add an entire new layer to an already great, mechanically perfect game. Larger map, more diverse enemies, more frequent mini bosses, combat shrines and spirit trials give this game so much depth. It's an absolute must play

    It doesn't only rely on difficult only (it's difficulty on normal is ok, fair and challenging), it has an amazing and emotional feeling for anyone
    It's an absolute and complete upgrade from Blind Forest

    El primer juego es increíble, fue una gran experiencia, así que tenia muchas expectativas con esta segunda parte, no vi casi ningún trailer, prefería sorprenderme y lo hizo, es genial, las nuevas mecánicas, la historia visualmente siento que el arte fue aun mas cuidada que la primera parte y eso era muy difícil, lo recomiendo a full.     Willow of the Wisps is better than Blind Forest in every way. They took out the confusing menus and streamlined to make the best game I have played since Breath of the Wild. It’s challenging without being frustrating (playing on medium difficulty). The world is colorful and highly detailed, the movement is fluid. It does this beautifully and is one of the better emotional stories in gaming. The sounds effects are crisp, impactful, and sound great.10/10

    NARRATIVE: I don't want to give much away, as I believe that will take away some of the magic this game has, but the story is excellent. There are high, there are lows. Happiness, sadness, wonder, and excitement. I thought the story setup was clever and the pacing of the story was on point. There are now characters in the world to interact with and help. The world is much more fleshed out in this sequel, now including some entertaining side missions that can have effects on your environments and aid you in other ways. The characters are excellent. Each one has their own charm and personality. They are cute, likeable, and charismatic. 10/10

    Incredible! Much better than the first, which is actually a great game. Now, Ori has new abilities, new enemies and a giant new world to explore. The graphics are excellent, and the gameplay has some great mechanics. The story is simple, but with the soundtrack, it provides a terrific experience.     Amazing, beautifull art, surperation First Ori 1.. The art and environments is beautifully animated and immersive. This is a game I'd recommend to anyone.

    I normaly play more ego-shooter or mmo like games. I thought i try ori since it is in the microsoft game pass and i am glad that i did. Honestyl, this game has one of the most beautiful soundtracks and atmospheres that i saw in the last couple years. I strongly recommend Ori and the will of the Whisps to everyone. I'll now go and play Ori and the blind forrest....

    Visuals, sound and story are as beautiful as in the previous game but unlike the previous one this one is also playable. They have really improved gameplay now it is even enjoyable. There is so many amazing things they added. You don't have to create soul link anymore the game autosaves a lot. No more collectibles in locations where you run for your life and than you can't get back. Though some technical issues such as huge lag spikes and, in the worst case scenario, visual glitches in cutscenes, keep this game from being the best IMO, ignoring them really reveals the masterpiece that is this game.

    This is one of the best games I’ve ever played. So much passion went into this, best music and art style I can remember. **** anyone purposely giving this a low score for nit pick reasons, it is a masterpiece and contender for game of the decade

    The music, level design, characters, side missions, graphics and story is SUPERB! Everything the 1st game did right the 2nd one adds onto it and makes it even better. Best game I’ve played this year by far

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps is everything a sequel should be. They enhanced what Blind Forest brought, graphics, gameplay, game elements and a rich and engaging story. Masterchief to take care of, Ori is the new mascot of Xbox.

    Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Hellblade 2 on the way... It was clear thar X studios were working hard on delivering great AAA games. Im grad to see theyre doing so with AAs. This game has everything to be considered o e of this gen's finest. WELL DONE MOON STUDIOS

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps may not feel as vital as the original did when it debuted, but fans of the genre would be foolish to overlook the sequel. Its visual style, themes, and engrossing score distinguish it from others in its space. Its fluid sense of movement and fast-paced combat make it a blast to play, with plenty of hidden challenges to uncover. Ori and the Will of the Wisps will please fans of the original and anyone looking for an engrossing adventure steeped in natural mystery and wonder.

    I actually haven’t played the first Ori so I can’t compare the two nor do I have a bias based on how much I enjoyed the previous installment. I would wait for some patches before attempting this game. It’s excellent, there’s no doubt about it, but when things don’t work you become robbed of the experience. Still, it’s better than most platformers out there, even with the issues.

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps is everything you could want from a sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest. It isn’t a revolutionary new step forward for the series by any means, but it does an excellent job of building upon all the core concepts that made Ori and the Blind Forest so fantastic, whilst also adding enough new features to justify its title as a sequel, rather than an additional DLC expansion. If you haven’t played through Ori and the Blind Forest (you should), Ori and the Will of the Wisps is worth jumping into regardless, as it polishes the Ori formula to a shine and is an incredible experience in its own right.
