    WTF Konami!? What are you doing!? I WAS willing to give Konami the benefit of the doubt if not only for the people that had nothing to do with the infamous split of Hideo and Konami. I bought the game and gave it a shot. The first hour or so is a slow and brutal build up to a mediocre game loop. Food, water, oxygen. Food, water, oxygen STORY MISSION, food, water, oxygen. A.I isWTF Konami!? What are you doing!? I WAS willing to give Konami the benefit of the doubt if not only for the people that had nothing to do with the infamous split of Hideo and Konami. I bought the game and gave it a shot. The first hour or so is a slow and brutal build up to a mediocre game loop. Food, water, oxygen. Food, water, oxygen STORY MISSION, food, water, oxygen. A.I is absolutely terrible. Just get on a waist high rock and slowly kill anything that comes after you. AND THEN THERE IS THE 10 DOLLAR PER EXTRA SAVE SLOT!?!?! I don't understand how, unless you work for Konami and want to doctor reviews, anyone would give this game a 10. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! This is the direction you want gaming to go? Paying for EXTRA SAVE SLOTS. WTF are you thinking!? I get it.     A complete bastardization of one of gaming's most historic and beloved IPs. Metal Gear Survive shows you where Konami are at with Hideo Kojima no longer with them. The game is nothing more than an insipid, grindy, zombie survival game, also known as the "White Noise" of video game creativity.

    Ok. They finally lost conscience.
    After they ask for money for the game, which is for the most part, done not well. They still ask for money for a slot of game saving. For additional party in game and etc. They specifically do so that there is more routine. And the usual things, without donate, took a long time. Even in a single.

    They even stretched out the cutscenes. It looks like this: the main character is attacked by a monster. The hero stands and watches as the monster approaches, how he waves, how he attacks. Seconds are 10-15. I remind you, the main character is standing still. And so 10 times for the one cutscene.

    If you're feeling down on life I highly recommend inflicting further pain on yourself by playing Metal Gear Survive. It'll help put your life problems into perspective and you'll want to get back to reality as fast as you can. I just watched Jim Sterling's youtube video about this game. "It is sh*t". Yep, I should have just copy and pasted those 3 words into this review.

    When burning a franchise down and pissing on the ashes wasn't enough for Konami they decided one-up themselves, un-sanctimoniously digging up and hate f*ucking Metal Gear to produce the Anti-Christ of video games, Metal Gear Survive.     This game is god awful. This isn't Metal Gear any more than Fortnight's original game mode is. It's just a bunch of reused assets from MGSV in a tower defence mode. What's worse is the fact that they somehow managed to make the Fox Engine feel clunky, not to mention the horrid UI. Do yourself a favor and save your money. This one's not even worth a sale, and the coop doesn't save it.

    This game is a pile of crap I would avoid stepping on even if I want to stomp it. Weak storyline, re-used graphics assets, weak characters that I don't care about, weak gameplay, weak music, online only and microtransaction galore. Why should I pay money for a save slot? Are you kidding me?!?!?

    All I can say about this "videogame" is that you'll have to pay another 10$ if you want to create 2 simultaneous characters, so you're paying for the game to acces your HDD. GG.

    Accept the game for what it is – a grind to level up and improve your character and base – and there is fun to be had here. Come expecting a Metal Gear game though and you may be disappointed.

    If you can wipe away all the preconceptions surrounding Konami, Hideo Kojima, and the Metal Gear franchise, you’ll find a competent game in Metal Gear Survive. The story is mediocre and the game has obviously cut corners to make the budget despite being full of microtransactions. However, it’s also fun as both a survival game and a horde defense game at times.
