    The faces of the characters look like they were doused with oil. And even Andersen without lips. It looks so ridiculous ... About the lighting. The scale could be unscrewed in the original. And get the same rape eyes picture as in the remaster. Completely killed atmosphere. About the disgusting Russian voice acting has already been said.     It is impossible to highly appreciate a game in which there is no elementary function of a separate choice of voice acting language and interface language. BioWare, add this to the game, stop bullying players in Russia.

    WARNING. If you want to experience the game that made waves with it's cinematic atmosphere and presentation, DO NOT buy this version. The cinematic lighting of mass effect 1 has been butchered by them adding a floodlight into most scenes and in some scenes they have even removed the original lighting. not only does this ruin the original feel of the game, it results in cardinal sins suchWARNING.     Don't know what the "critics" are smoking but it's clearly nothing good. This is nothing but a lazy console port of an overpriced glorified texture mod which already exists for free, even more broken than the original games.

    And speaking of combat, ME1 is as clunky as ever, nothing remotely improved. No credible gameplay improvements in ME2 or ME3 either. Just lipstick-on-a-pig fluff screen content. And don't get me started on the ridiculous Origin overlay if you bought it on Steam.

    Not even a discount offered to those who already have ME1/2 on Steam or ME1/2/3 on Origin - UNLESS you bought ME3 for a second time on Steam, despite having it on Origin since 2012.

    The Bioware of old is long dead. They are the Husks, and EA are the Reapers. So save your money & stick with the original games. They're far more moddable & there's tons of mods to try.    … Expand

    The game needs the option "ENGLISH VOICE ACTING + RUSSIAN SUBTITLES". The fact is that the voice acting in the Russian version is simply disgusting.

People seem to be enjoying this and if they do great however this for me is everything wrong with games and EA and honestly think this is typically nothing more than pandering and using nostalgia to bet on good sales and scores.     Unability to select separate language for dubbing and subtitles makes this game virtually unplayable. As much as I am a huge fan of original games, this Legendary Edition is nothing else that a cheap attempt to get some more money from old games. They improved graphics a little bit, bundled three games into one, forgot to translate two DLCs and asked a full price for it. Unbelievable.

    Classic EA cash-grab. The original games are great, but this "Legendary Edition" is nothing more than a lazy coat of paint in the form of better textures. The opportunity here was to remake the trilogy, updating game systems, progression, facial animations, tweaking storylines, righting old wrongs and throwing in some fun new side stories. But no. A lazy coat of paint is what we got.

    Game's a piece of garbage. Whoever was responsible for QA deserves to starve. Yet again EA decided to punish PC players, and specifically steam players. They are giving priority to origin, because they know that's the only way they'd ever convince anyone to spend a dime on that piece of garbage platform, and even then they're making pc in general wait half a day past when console playersGame's a piece of garbage. Pretty much every major publication's mentioned the lack of settings and the minimal improvements over the originals, all on decade old games. They'll still likely be better than anything this gutted developer is capable of putting out today, but it's still not worth the price tag. I will NEVER buy anything else EA's had their grubby hands on. Made that decision a long time ago, and made the poor decision to break it for this, but I'm refunding it. I won't ever make that poor choice again.

    Also, note that there's ALREADY talk, LESS THAN AN HOUR IN, of them reviving the multiplayer, complete with lootboxes (Of course, not remembering anything you'd unlocked in the previous games. Gotta start shoveling cash towards them from scratch). Just gain some self respect, keep your memories of the original games, and stop giving these people your money rofl. They've proven time, and time, and time again that they don't deserve it, and they're not gonna magically change this time, nor the next time, nor the time after that.    … Expand

    Thank you for making the game unplayable for Russian and Polish gamers. Either patch-in the option to change voicover language without affecting subs or don't bother even selling it in our countries.

    The games themselves are masterpieces: ME 1 is a 9/10, ME2 is a 9,5/10, ME3 is a 8,5/10.

    The problem is that people are so happy about this graphic patch! ME Andromeda was a 3/10, but people just prefer playing over and over again old games with a 4K patch. That’s shameful: EA published only 1 decent game in the last 3 years, and that’s a F2P.

    While not perfect, especially when it comes to combat in Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect Legendary Edition is still a gem. Most of the changes were put into Mass Effect 1, and the effort made it far more replayable than the original. Mass Effect 3 holds up the best of the three, proving that regardless of the controversial ending, it is still one of the best gaming experiences BioWare has made to date. Mass Effect 2 could’ve done with some more tweaking to bring it up to 3’s combat. Legendary Edition gives hope for the future of the franchise.
