Last Stop is a very fun indie that allows us to enjoy three completely different stories, showing us the harsh reality of everyday life with three characters who have a lot of personality and will end up running into each other in the last chapter.

Horrible animations, controls and very little gameplay elements in a story that might have been better as a short series. In addition, duringHorrible animations, controls and very little gameplay elements in a story that might have been better as a short series. In addition, during the story there are never really choices that change the course. Still, Last Stop has managed to hold my attention with a story that slowly comes together to a somewhat disappointing ending. There are still many questions that remain unanswered but it was a nice experience after all. Full Review »

Some examples of those issues are how many times 1 or more of the choices are just a slightly difference in wording and not really a separate choice as well as 1 of the 4 choices are usually worded in such a way that I wasnt even sure what it meant. There are also many moments that just dont make sense like a character reacting in an annoying and nonsensical way. There is also a moment when a npc character does something that makes no sense and the others just keep going along with it even though everyone seems to know that it is nonsense they continue along just to keep the story moving. Usually these kind of games make you feel like you are controlling the trajectory of the story but this game feels like every thing happens the same regardless of what you do. This game is just another example of Microsoft adding a mediocre game to the game pass that has some entertainment value but is not a reason to get the game pass unless you already have it. As the game is a storytelling game, do not expect a lot of gameplay, or maybe dont expect a gameplay in our case here. The game started with a rather interesting beginning, with a story spread over three axes, but the game quickly loses its luster and takes you in side axes that could have been avoided if it were not for the developers' desire to extend the life of the game, which can end it within 6-7 hours.

The developers tried to add some excitement to the game by adding some elements of Quick Time Events, but unfortunately there is no effect of that whether you succeed in pressing the buttons or fail, the result is quite the same, the only difference is that the game may unlock some achievements if you succeed QTE, nothing more.

Given that the game is a story telling game, it has elements of multiple choice dialogs, which annoyingly Do Not affect the game at all, no matter how different your choices to select, the only goal of the choices is to keep you alert so that you press the buttons in the controller and do not lose interest in the story.

And speaking of the story, while avoiding spoiling the events, the story is normal and lacks the element of suspense over time, and most of the characters are cold and uninteresting, except for the events of the two neighbors' story, where there was some humor sometimes.

The story is shrouded in mystery at the beginning, and the game tried to escalate it somewhat, and although the end was explained, but some things and actions remained unclear, such as the motives of some characters, for example.

I think the developers themselves did not have confidence in their game, to the point of adding some Agenda that is not related to the story, in order to get a positive reviews from the media. if you play "Life is Strange" or "Tell me Why", you will get the idea. This is the fashion these days, I miss the time when game makers were making games to entertain, not to market their ideas and beliefs.

Being a fan of storytelling games away from the greed of multiplayer game publishers, I was hoping for this game to succeed, so my advice to the studio, if you want to make a successful story game, write a good story first. the industry has many great examples, and hope to see something better soon.
