    AWESOME GAME! Thumbs up... The only thing I miss are the Spartan Ops Missions, but Halostory and MP is quite enough. The Remake of Halo 2 is wonderful. The Sequences are beautiful and they show the possibilities of the New Age Rendergraphics.

    Don't listen to all the trolls rating the game with 0's and 1's. Yes, there are issues with matchmaking at this time, however, I have still managed to play multiple matchmaking games. My only issue in Campaign is that once in a while when I pause the game, it will take me to the campaign menus. Outside of that, its been incredible. It's everything a Halo fan could want.     The moment that the main menu fires up and you hear the classic Halo theme, nostalgia kicks in. i love Halo and the fact that I can replay all four Halo games for $60 is a deal I could never pass up.

    Come on people, I mean yes the multiplayer has problems, but in this day and age (sadly) this always happens. Its still an awesome experience to play single player, and there are 10s of hours of content there alone! Then you have the multiplayer, which is revamped and what not! Don't get me wrong its sad I can't play the multiplayer, but the campaign is just as fun! I haven't evenCome on people, I mean yes the multiplayer has problems, but in this day and age (sadly) this always happens.     The focus of gameplay for me was jumping back into split screen campaign mode for the remastered Halo CE and Halo 2. This did not disappoint in this area. Would I purchase a remastered HALO CE and Halo 2 for single player probably not, if you missed the 360 releases getting Halo 3 / 4 is a good. Experienced crashing even after massive updates approximately 1 per play through the campaigns.

    4 games for the price of 1! Remastered Halo and Halo 2. These are the games that fully got me into the Xbox in the first place. Falling in love with the games all over again is amazing. Once the multiplayer issues are ironed out this will get 10/10

    Halo the master chief collection is a great package containing 4 of the greatest games of all time. What more is there to ask. Also coming with forge for three of the games,custom games for all the games, the halo 5 beta, 4 campaigns, a movie, and dedicated multiplayer for all 4 games this is the ultimate package.     This is a great deal for the price, every single game in the collection are very good & worthy of a play through & the remastered graphics make it that much better but the multi-player was a little disappointing so I couldn't give it a perfect score but when they patch the multi-player the game will definitely be a 10

    The story of a pack as Halo. Four complete games in one. The first, third and fourth part is actually only received minor updates. The second part, however, has been fully customized. New graphics and videos are included. The more players there are 100 routes or segments. However, in the beginning it was very bad for the multiplayer part, because we had to wait a long time for a game.

    The Master Chief collections is a great Deal, but it suffers from one thing, and that is the Server Bugs. Right now most of it is gone but there is still a great majority of bugs. There is not many game bugs, mostly server issues.

    The Campaign was fun to go through, the terminals gave up a lot of story, the Cutscenes were great though they are pre rendered. I got so much nostalgia playing through the game, Halo 1 multiplayer was the best thing.

    Does it deserve a 10/10? Until the multiplayer is fixed no.

    A huge amount of content and fun for the price. Most buyers have likely played through the entire campaign of all the games included, but it is fun to relive and play them again. Playing the early games again is a bit off-putting at first because of the odd and floaty controls but once you get them down again it's amazing to relive the game from the beginning, and having them remastered.A huge amount of content and fun for the price. With everything included from all 4 of the games (including online capabilities added to Halo 1 and 2, as well as all the Spartan Ops missions from Halo 4) this game is easily a no-brainer investment for Halo fans or anyone that doesn't still own and original Xbox with the entire series of games. The only reason I'm not giving this game a higher rating is because there are a few bugs (included from the first 2 games) that were included in the remaster that are yet to be fixed at the time of this review. There was also an issue with matchmaking early in the launch (causing players to sit in the lobby for upwards to 30 minutes waiting for a game) but it seems to have been corrected.… Expand

    Gorgeous game! The remastered maps are done beautifully. One of the best values in Xbox one gaming. As a fan of sci fi gaming Halo is one of the leaders of the genre. Re-playing my favorite games has been a treat. Everything has been smooth except a few hiccups in multiplayer. Do yourself a favor and pick this up!

If you are a fan of the series then you obviously won't miss it but if you aren't then I encourage you to go get this right now!! You have 4 of the best campaigns anyone could ask for and multiplayer that never gets old! Seriously there is just so much content here it's ridiculous! The only thing wrong withOne of the best gaming deals out there right now is The Master Chief Collection!! If you are a fan of the series then you obviously won't miss it but if you aren't then I encourage you to go get this right now!!     Four great campaigns, fun forge mode. Each game looks significantly better, especially the completely remastered halo 2. However, it's unfortunate the multiplayer servers have not been working right. Overall very good value with four fun games and many multiplayer maps.

First, I completed the single player campaigns. I guess I missed the worst part of the problem but it still had matchmaking and stability issues.

    The second shortcoming is that FPS drops once in a while, in co-op even below 30 so it really is noticeable. Then again I don't mind it that much when the game works like a charm. I like it. I love it. I can't wait for Halo 5. Even with these problems this is, for me personally, the best Xbox One exclusive out now and one of the best considering all platforms (at least for last year).    … Expand

Rich game play on and off line with Many different modes and perks to play around with. If the user support doesn't form up enough to motivate the developers threw complaints and funds(the two things that make the world go round :) I could see this game falling off into the realm of just another elaborate campaign reunion. BUT if the developers and players step up I see this being a wonderful counterbalance to Call Of Duty.… Expand

    Uma das sagas mais incríveis que joguei, a história é impressionante, uma das maiores ja vista em um jogo, o gameplay é legal e divertido, as vezes fica um pouco enjoativo, mas as qualidades são tantas que apagam isso. Trilha sonora é magnífica, e por ai vai. Quem tem um xbox one e nunca jogou halo esta perdendo um jogão, recomendo demais.

    If you are a fan of Halo, there is no doubt you'll love this game, because it is the same good old 360 games, but remastered and playable with the XONE online community. Great game, brings back good memories, it is actually very enjoyable to revisit these games on a next-gen console. Really worth the purchase.

    Halo 2 Anniversary was the main selling point of the MC collection and I wasn't disappointed like Halo CE it looks gorgeous, sounds brilliant and plays like a wet dream (sorry for that) it was buggy from time to time though with enemies spazing out from time to time. (8/10)
    Halo 3 also got the remastered treatment, not as much as Halo 2 as the graphics already looked good for its time but what they did was change the lighting to better bring out the colours, it was weird that the sequel looked worse than the previous instalment graphically but it doesn't bother me much, Halo 3 still remains the crown jewel of the MC collection. (10/10)
    Halo 3: ODST was a bit of a hit and miss, some people enjoyed it (like me) and some people hated it, the graphics got the same treatment as Halo 3 with improved lighting and stuff so it feels smooth and familiar, the gameplay is just plain awesome and the city looked so great in the first place but now it looks awesome. (9/10)
    Halo 4 is the bad egg in this saga because I personally hated Halo 4 due to the fact that the story is B.S and the armour looks too detailed, the armour in Halo: Reach was big and bulky and looked like it could stop a bullet while the armour in Halo 4 looks weak and pathetic. The whole SPOILER ALERT chosen by the Forerunners thing was a joke and I hated the sound of Cortana's voice by the end of it I was glad she's dead. SPOILER END and to top it off the multiplayer was AWFUL back on the 360 with killstreak rewards or 'supply drops' as they call it and the ability to choose a load-out just killed the halo feel of it and made it feel like COD, screw you 343, if it ain't broke don't fix it. And by that I mean Halo: Reach was the pinnacle of multiplayer and you decided to stick your hand in a blender and complain about how much it hurts. (6/10)

    All in all Halo MC is worth a buy and worth a play despite the monumental cock-up with the multiplayer at launch because like everything else, it gets fixed.

    Halo: CE retained its nostalgia with updated graphics, and is the same Anniversary edition that was released for the Xbox 360. Halos 3, 4 and ODST are all essentially the same games with some new user interfacing in the menus to tie the games together.

    But the real trophy here is Halo 2. Before the Master Chief Collection, Halo 2 was mostly inaccessible due to it being quite an old game for the original Xbox and widespread compatibility issues for the PC. Halo 2 was like watching the Special Edition of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in the late '90s: just as compelling as the first time, and somehow better. The graphics are better than Halo 4, the cutscenes are easier to watch, and all the old secrets are still in place.

    I am not a huge fan of multiplayer games. If you play Halo for the multiplayer, then for the first 6 months you may have been disappointed. The system needed more work than 343 had done before the release, and they should have waited to release. The multiplayer seems to be working now, but the wait on multiplayer is the reason for a 9 instead of a 10.

    Overall, $60 gets you 5 FPS games with over 1000 hours of play time and 50 hours of (legendary difficulty) campaign. There are few arguments against how good of a deal this is, and the games are incredible.    … Expand

    This game is essentially the Halo equivalent of Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire; new graphics and sound effects, but pretty much entirely unchanged. And that's not a bad thing.

    It is a great game, I started playing it must be three months ago so I don't saw all the multiplayer problems the people said it has, but anyway great game or almost 6 games including ODST and Spartan Ops, it is incredible how the remastered the old games, so I knew all the Master Chief history on one game.

    Taking for given that I have not experienced the initial broken state of the Multiplayer, I've come to love this collection for what it is, a nostalgia trip through my childhood, master chief's adventure is one of the greatest stories ever told in a videogame, it has grown on me, and even after a decade or so after its first release, it still delivers an enjoyable gameplay (    AMAZING

    Of course it is not perfect, I have encountered a few bugs here and there and the multiplayer could've been more enjoyable if more populated, but I got what I came for, the campaigns ( which include HALO CE, HALO 2, HALO 3 and 4, with a separate DLC for HALO 3 ODST). The only thing that's keeping me from giving this game a 10 is the fact of the extra pay-to-play DLC whichI would've really liked for it to be included.    … Expand

    I only really bought this so I could play Halo 2 online. I really enjoyed the original Halo 2 graphics more for multiplayer. But c'mon, halo 1-4 for 60$, count me in.

    Two years ago, i thought i will never own xbox. I thought i will never play halo. If i only could know... Collection of the best games in history of xbox. You must buy this if you own that console. 9/10 - only cuz launch multiplayer problems. Otherwise it would be ten.

I bought this game so I could play halo twos campaign. I enjoyed it very much. With its amazing cutscences, great graphics, and 60fps, I enjoyed it.     I've been a fan of Halo for a while now. Ever since Halo Reach, I played every Halo game after that. I'm not a fanatic, but I still love the franchise. However, I was never able to experience Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3. I was able to play Halo 4, but only because it was on the 360. So when this was released, I got it, and I loved it. I'm not discussing the multiplayerI've been a fan of Halo for a while now. Ever since Halo Reach, I played every Halo game after that. I'm not a fanatic, but I still love the franchise.
