    great long time coming sequel. bringing the childrens into the mix was a clever way of expanding this world. need to beat this on insane one of these days.

    Gears of War 4 is an absolute amazing game. It allows you to enjoy the great shooting mechanics that Gear franchise is known for with new weapons, enemies and good new characters. Gorgeous visuals even in 2021. The sound and story are great as well. The only thing I could complain about is the lack of an interesting enemy in the first half of the game. A fantastic game and a great returnGears of War 4 is an absolute amazing game. It allows you to enjoy the great shooting mechanics that Gear franchise is known for with new weapons, enemies and good new characters. Gorgeous visuals even in 2021.     I’ve toyed around with the other Gears games before but have yet to finish the original trilogy. My bf is a Gears stan so I know the story for the most part, so that helped with jumping into a new trilogy. For what Gears 4 is, it’s pretty good for the most part. The graphics hold up magnificently & are among the best on modern consoles. The gameplay is still responsive & fun aside from aI’ve toyed around with the other Gears games before but have yet to finish the original trilogy. My bf is a Gears stan so I know the story for the most part, so that helped with jumping into a new trilogy. For what Gears 4 is, it’s pretty good for the most part. The graphics hold up magnificently & are among the best on modern consoles. The gameplay is still responsive & fun aside from a few caveats. Basically anytime you aren’t taking cover & shooting things, you’re doing something to break up the gameplay a bit & I was never a fan of these sections tbh. Towards the end with the catapult section really annoyed me. Also the game just kinda ends? After the “final boss” if you could call it that, there’s a cutscene then.. end credits. Kind of a momentum killer honestly. Also the banter between the new cast of characters can be grating at times, I hate hate HATE dialogue where everybody is a smartass and has to one up the other person with a dumb comeback, especially when it’s not needed. It was my biggest problem with Days Gone & it was grating here too. I was begging for them to shut up at times. I feel like most Gears fans aren’t gonna disagree with me on the new games just not being as good as the originals. Seems like that tends to happen with Microsoft’s biggest franchises after they hit the 3rd game, if you know you know. HALO?? Good lord. It’s a good enough experience, but it does make me anxious for Gears 6.… Expand

    Gears of War 4 was not better than the original trilogy but it was definitely better than Judgement. JD's character falls a bit short but still a decent Gears game.

    This was my first Gears game and I really loved it, the sorry was very sad and at some points, I almost cried especially at the end.

    Pros:
    Great story
    Great visuals
    Good gameplay

    Cons:
    Fights are very repetitive and get boring

    A história é meio infantil, maneira clássica de fazer jogos da Microsoft na oitava geração de consoles, mas pode render algumas horas de entretenimento. O multiplayer é, ou melhor, foi muito bom, porém o jogo já está morto hoje em dia.

    this is not a great game... this does not feel like gears of war... fighting robots is not gears of war no fun for me... but has great graphics
    the story is not great but the ending prepared gears 5s story to be great... not good enough but nice work

    and As expected, the 0 ratings ALL come from people who rated Sony games a 10/10. no life detected.

    This is an amazing game and one of the best of the generation. Graphically it looks just as good if not better than many next Gen games. Story wise is amazing. The story is fun and focuses on new characters that I enjoyed and loved as well as giving you great nostalgia with old characters.     It’s a fun game with a great story and great characters, it’s also super funny. If you have game pass playing this along with the other gears games is a no brainer. If you have a Xbox and have been on the fence about gears 4, I say do it! You won’t regret it!

    This game is clearly getting review bombed by PlayStation fans. The Xbox store has it at a 4.5/5 stars. Critics also loved it. This game is criminally overlooked.

    Fue una delicia visual para el año 2016, simplemente no podía creer lo que estaba viendo, todo se sentía fluido y la calidad del sonido era muy buena, la historia es buena, los jefes son divertidos el unico pero son las hordas en el modo historia, se sienten algo forzadas.

    Pior Gears que joguei. Protagonista bem chato, tanto quanto a história. Salvo pelo enredo da Kait, porquê o resto é bem precário. O início e meio são bem chatos em todos aspectos, o final melhora. O ponto forte desse jogo é os ambientes e só.

    Dificultad artificial la cual se basa en enemigos esponjas de daño en espacios cerrados mientras te atacan enemigos aleatorios (esto refiriendome a la maxima dificultar)
    El modo horda es bueno, pero los enemigos siguen siendo mas que algo que debes planear como enfrentar solo esponjas de daño las cuales se limitan a estar parados disparando directamente confaidos en que ganaran ya que    Dificultad artificial la cual se basa en enemigos esponjas de daño en espacios cerrados mientras te atacan enemigos aleatorios (esto refiriendome a la maxima dificultar)
    El modo horda es bueno, pero los enemigos siguen siendo mas que algo que debes planear como enfrentar solo esponjas de daño las cuales se limitan a estar parados disparando directamente confaidos en que ganaran ya que recisten hasta 12 segundos de daño consecutivo sin parar.
    La unca "tactica" que te incentiva a cambiar de cobertura como en anteriores entregas de la saga es que los enemigos se lanzan cual Kamikase hacia ti resistiendo todo el daño para luego eliminarte de un solo golpe, todo esto un tiempo aproximado de 0.5 a 3 segundos, siendo una jugabilidad injusta a menos de que lo juegues en las minimas dificultades.
    Teniendo mas protagonismo la suerte de que las balas no te den a tu capacidad para resolver problemas en situaciones apremiantes.

    Por otro lado los protagonistas carecen de alma o carisma a especion de un par de secundarios, y el diseño de los enemigos es muy bueno visualmente, pero esto no puede zolapar el pesimo gameplay que han creado.    … Expand

    This game is perfect in every way but for 20 dollars is 9 hours terrible. The game play is good but for 9 hours? The story isnt that intriguing that i would pay 20 dollars for that. The game is very good and graphics are also pritty good. I had a lot of ammo trouble to the point that i would rage quit for 2 days and then come back and fail again on easy difficulty.

    really boring campaign with minimale mechanics, The game looks great, but a boring story will also not fix that, ending was good, but 5 hours of boring gameplay with 1 hour of fun is not worth it

    Um ótimo jogo com gráficos lindos, eu acho que o que mais me chama atenção são seus cenários absurdamente lindos, todas as paisagens são ótimas de se admirar, fora o multiplayer que me rendeu muitas horas de diversão.

    True, it is not as dark and damp ad the first trilogy, but I like the new colorful aesthetics.

    The Coalition has managed to successfully bring every great elements from previous games into a new setting. Whether you go for single-player, multiplayer or horde mode, GoW4 hast plenty to offer. The visuals are stunning and the gameplay is the best in the series thus far; and despite shortcomings in the story and development of characters, GoW4 is easily one of the best third-person shooters of this generation.
