Dec 13, 2017Devotees of the franchise and newcomers alike may find a lot to love in Bethesda and id Software's update of the classic shooter. Though, after a while, the gameplay itself may get a bit redundant, there's still a smooth, well-oiled nature to the combat that just kept me coming back, day after day. An imperfect, yet still eminently enjoyable action romp.

Nov 16, 2016I'm a huge DOOM fan since the original. I've played the whole series plus a ton of custom WADs. Bethesda did a great job recreating a modern DOOM. It has a lot of nostalgic moments (especially the Hell levels) and they added a solid mix of new gameplay. I wish the campaign was a little bit longer though. I haven't delved into the multiplayer yet so I can't comment on that.

Sep 28, 2016Doom is a modern version of an iconic, classic shooter. It's fast paced, has satisfying combat, and above all, it's fun. This is one of the better campaigns in a fps I've played in awhile. While more could have been done with the multiplayer, it's still fun and has a very classic arena shooter feel to it.

Sep 12, 2016Doom is back in it's all mighty gore / fun styled adventure. The game is no insult to the franchise and instead is a solid update with fun shooting and platforming sections within it, If you've never played a Doom game before this is a great game to start with, the levels are so atmospheric, the enemies a worth splitting open and overall it's gory ride from start to finish.

Mar 13, 2017Yes!DOOM!The speed and soundtrack are great. It takes me back to the original game while blasting Pantera or Slayer full ball...A nice reminder on how games used to be and DOOM certainly has a place in the modern industry.

Feb 12, 2020I was skeptical... but the more I played it the more I liked it. Challenging.

May 8, 2017Hands down my favorite game for Xbox 360 or Xbox One! I grew up playing the original DOOM games and this is the style of shooter we've been missing for nearly a decade: gore, violence, dash of story, and arcade-style play. I've played this game start to finish about 5 times. Doesn't get old. Also a great stress reliever.

Jan 2, 2019Fast paced, interesting story, intuitive controls, and a wide range of enemies. I'm playing this game a bit late, but it deserved more mainstream recognition, the multiplayer is awesome too, although it seems as if the player base has dwindled, leaving it tough to find a match.

Apr 5, 2017This game is excellent. The only issue I have is sometimes the carnage gets sloppy and I feel like I was killed cheaply. This is an absolute must buy.

Oct 31, 2019violencia visceral y mucha sangre mezclado con una jugabilidad árcade, que mas se puede pedir

Oct 7, 2016Campaign is a blast. Fast paced, gorgeous graphics, and fun physics. The multiplayer is lackluster reboot of any multiplayer ever with just Doom physics. Wish there was more campaign!

Oct 29, 2016I had been waiting for this since Doom3 basically kicked me in the testicles and ran off with my S.I.N. card.
Not a huge fan of the quick-time-style kills constantly threatening to interrupt my flow through the game ... but I'll forgive them, because gore. -

Oct 16, 2017Doom was an awesome game, filled with fast paced action and new mechanics in the form of character progression and secrets that really reward you for finding them. This was not just a run in and shoot everything that moves game, but a in depth story that makes you part of the Doom universe. I for one cannot wait for the next installment.

Mar 20, 2020The Mad Max: Fury Road of video games. A long awaited sequel to a dormant franchise that is everything and more than a fan could ask for. Ripping demon's faces off has never been so much fun.

Jul 13, 2016In the upcoming sequels (because let's face it, we know that they're already in development), please bring back a strong element of horror. I believe Guillermo Del Toro would be a fantastic asset for horror consultation. If you decide to go that route, I'd love to see the path this takes.

Jun 21, 2016While we won't go anywhere near as far to say that this online facing side of the game is an afterthought, it doesn't carry with it the same sense of intense playtesting and meticulous detail as the solo campaign.

Official Xbox Magazine UKJun 20, 2016A tremendous return for an all-time great. Doom feels so fresh by being so old-school. [July 2016, p.75]
