    The music is good and the environments are cool but gets boring halfway through. It's always the same fight mechanics. You trigger a set piece then run around and shoot waves of spawning enemies in a closed off arena. The story is an endless chase from one Macguffin to the next.     One of the best shooters of the decade. It has this old-school feel. It's very fast-paced and without an unnecessary gameplay system - it's a pure run-and-shoot game. Lots of secrets and great tech behind graphics.

    Un Shooter con una gran dificultad y variedad de enemigos, aunque las misiones son muy lineales y repetidas, el juego se disfruta mucho, aunque la historia es un poco enredada y supongo que tiene conexiones con los anteriores juegos , por lo cual yo no he jugado muchos juegos de la saga, no comprendí del todo la historia.

    Fast paced. brutal cult FPS. This reboot is exactly what the Doom franchise needed. Can't wait to play the sequel. Overall rating: 9.1.

    Great gameplay loop, great enemy variety and great level design. The bosses that were there were great but could have used more. Also some of the levels did feel quite similar to one another in terms of the environment. No story but it didn't really need one. Best part of the game was the boss fight with the mechanised demon- the second phase takes place in hell was a very great moment.

    This game turned out to be so driving and tooth-crushing that I want to try it again. And as a continuation of the franchise, she is very careful about the canon and lays out a simple, but very significant plot for the universe

    It's gorgeous, it's fast, it's rewarding, it's one of the best FPS I've ever played, and I've played a lot since the 80's. Kudos to the people who made this game such an unforgettable masterpiece.

    DOOM 2016 is a Incedable miracle of a game. Even after DOOM Eternal i can still go back to the Game and enjoy it.

    You run. You kill. You platform. You run. You kill. You Platform. My biggest gripes with the games are around the exploration system. Shooting and defeating enemies is always a blast, but exploring halts the game to a screeching halt almost every time.     My biggest gripes with the games are around the exploration system. Shooting and defeating enemies is always a blast, but exploring halts the game to a screeching halt almost every time. Finding stuff doesn't ever feel rewarding, the platforming is the easiest platforming out there, and every location in the game just feels like the same location but a switched-up maze.

    It can easily be compared to the Metroid Prime games, where you explore and find stuff to advance, except with more "pew-pew" and "bam-bam". However, Matroid did it better. There were actual biomes; there was a feeling of loneliness and dread, mystery, and wonder. There were moments of build-up and challenge; there were puzzles and challenges that made the game more than just shooting.

    This game just shoots.

    That's not necessarily a flaw for the game. That's what it went for, but more variety would've definitely benefited the game, along with biomes or environments that could've added more of a dynamic for this game.

    Overall, it's mid. Overrated and fun at points, but even pew-pewing got tiring.    … Expand

    Everything I could have wanted from a modern Doom game. I love how super gory and bloody everything is, a visceral experience that is so much fun to play with. The new glory kill mechanics are incredibly fun to say the least. The app shows me that 17.47 % of players have completed the game. You are giving positive reviews even though you have not played through the game. Why do you do that?

    I will now write what I think of this game because I have completed it.

    I first played through Doom 2016 and immediately after that I played through Doom Eternal. These are two completely different games, Doom 2016 is a superb first-person shooter, but Doom Eternal is something else. If you want to know what Doom Eternal is, please feel free to read my review.

    I loved Doom 2016. The darkness, the blood in the facility from the humans trying to escape, control rooms where the humans desperately tried to fight the demons as they make their final stand. It really tells a story, tells the story of this hellish place on Mars.

    When it comes to sound design, DOOM 2016 seems more realistic and modern, Doom Eternal feels more like a retro 90s game when it comes to the explosion and laser sounds.

    Very well-designed levels and I never had to look from YouTube for how to play it. I felt that control was in my hands all the time and I knew what to do next.

    This game hooked me to play it, I couldn't get my hands off the controller. I wanted to know what was going to happen, I wanted to kill the next monster in my way. If you have never played Doom game, you definitely have to play this game. You will not miss anything, and you will understand what this game series is all about.    … Expand

    Near perfect. Fantastic game for anger management. Switch your brain off and slay hordes of demons to a badass soundtrack. What more could a guy ask for? Looks great, is smooth as butter and is heaps of fun. Perhaps the best FPS i have played. Only gripes I have are occasionally getting lost and not knowing where to go next, and the map being a bit useless and not enough upgrades forNear perfect. Fantastic game for anger management.     Most overrated and boring shooter in recent memory. Combat has zero depth, has poor balancing considering 2 weapons supershotgun and guass cannon break the game and is mind numbing repetitive. I see people claim this game has good story which is absurd.

    One of the best shooters I've played. Feels exactly like the original Doom would have had it been made in 2016. Exhilarating, atmospheric, and sometimes downright unsettling, Doom 2016 is a masterpiece in FPS game design.

    the combat is incredibly addictive, the system is incredible. the game is not for everyone, it is a little difficult. the main character is a little too simple and the campaign is a little short (about 15 hours).

    I don’t see the hype for this game all it is is running and killing with no narrative whatsoever, only saving grace is the decent gameplay and visuals. Only saving grace is that it is free on gamepass.

    In the upcoming sequels (because let's face it, we know that they're already in development), please bring back a strong element of horror. I believe Guillermo Del Toro would be a fantastic asset for horror consultation. If you decide to go that route, I'd love to see the path this takes.

    While we won't go anywhere near as far to say that this online facing side of the game is an afterthought, it doesn't carry with it the same sense of intense playtesting and meticulous detail as the solo campaign.
