Deliver Us The Moon is an incredible experience which I would recommend to anyone in its current form. Its story is short and sweet, delivering all the punches it needs to while rarely over-indulging in itself and wasting its players' time. While it suffers from a few minor drawbacks, they don't come anywhere close to bringing this rocket ship back down to Earth.

Deliver Us The Moon on Xbox One is a game that I have thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish, fully immersed in its 6-hour or so running time. There is a nice range of puzzles to play with, a great piece of storytelling on offer and some excellent exploring to be had. It’s all helped along by good visuals and some wonderful sound in both the music and voice-over departments.

The KeokeN Interactive game, though imperfect, teaches us that we must first keep our feet on the ground and not look so much at the stars.

Deliver Us The Moon is a fascinating and scientifically plausible sci-fi adventure, with a realistic space setting and quite varied gameplay where exploration and puzzles are alternated to many other mechanics. It's definitely a game to try for lovers of Gravity and Interstellar-like stories.

Deliver Us The Moon nails the feeling of being in space, and the tale being told is interesting enough to keep up gong through to the end. It’s slow and repetitive at times, and the linear nature means we often pass by seemingly perfect opportunities to explore, but I still enjoyed my time with it.

Deliver Us The Moon hints at a possible concerning future for humanity and looks at the struggle from an interesting angle, yet the game itself struggles with several technical issues of its own.

Deliver Us the Moon isn't perfect; in fact at one point the game broke transforming my screen into a rave light-show you'd have to warm people with epilepsy about. It's hard on the eyes, the challenges can feel impossible on their first shot, you control like a block of ice filled with helium but I'm glad I played it. It's different and doesn't demand much. It's a relatively short and sweet game with a story to tell and is done in a way that makes you listen. Maybe, should the developers feel compelled to fix a few of these problems, Deliver Us the Moon could go down as a truly great game. But, until that happens, I guess we'll have to settle with an okay game that shouldn't be passed over with at least some consideration.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When a game is made by several studios at once, there are two cases. The first is when the game turns out to be below average and not so warmly met by the players. The other, as it happened in the game "Deliver Us The Moon" - quite a good game, which will want to play both old and young. How does this game differ from other indie games? A good component of puzzles, levels for a while, which can be great to develop your spatial thinking. A separate part of the puzzles is occupied by a roboshar, with which you can go to hard-to-reach places. Also-this is a good story about the last survivors of the MPT station after the blackout-Sarah, Rolf, Isaac, and others. The only problem with the game is optimization, which causes some parts of the game to lag a lot. Because of this, I withdraw the point. The rating is a solid 9 out of 10. Expand

That naked feeling of vulnerability will be a sensation I remember for a long time after the credits.

Unfortunately, the story wasn’t quite as good as it needed to be—without giving anything away, a few of the data points collected along the way revealed a bit too much about where everything was about to go, and that made the big reveal more like an update about where the characters wound up rather than major revelations.

Difficulty spikes were also an issue, with some puzzles being as simple as ‘find this in a room and put it here’, and others being like navigating a maze to find the bit of cheese somewhere inside.

Finally, for a game this length, a $25 MSRP is too high. I finished the game in 7 hours, so I feel it should have been cheaper (although I played it on Game Pass, it’s now been removed).

It seems like, a techdemo turned into a game.

    Pros:
The setting, area and story are the strong points of the game. - nice backtracking when you’ve finished an area.
    - solid translation in speach and even the text on surfaces and ingame Labels
    - somewhat rewarding ending

    The downsides
    - awkward and stiff movement, which makes dexterity, jump and run passages annoying (not challenging)
    - the „you got hurt“ visualization
    - hilarious (in a bad way) quick time events
    - super easy puzzles; walk the whole floor, find the solution written somewhere, done.
    - very often strong controller rumbling, for every tiny door opening, closing or for no reason at all; PS: thank god they had a setting to turn it off; PS PS: it still rumbles sometimes (for example loading)

I played „call of the sea“ a few days ago which i rate much better. it was also the debut of a small indie company, but way more polished.
