This game started out very fun. Grindy simple car shooter where you can be creative with your car building. I saved up en grinded for a nice new car. Bought it, drove it and build upon it with the extra modules that it could handle. AND THEY NERF IT! Almost half of the modules that could be put on it where gone. Why do this to the player base. It takes a lot of hours to upgrade. And thenThis game started out very fun. Grindy simple car shooter where you can be creative with your car building. I saved up en grinded for a nice new car. It takes a lot of hours to upgrade. And then they randomly nerf things you took the effort grinding for. Bad decision on the devs part! And if you wanna implement these kind of changes. Share it with your player base so they dont feel screwed afterwards. I'm pretty much done with this game. Expand

It's a good game actually, and one of the best f2p games available for Xbox. The gameplay is pretty straightforward. you start with a trashy pickup, and then get more parts and weapons to upgrade it or build something completely new. With your car you either fight against players in pvp or bots in raids.

As it's f2p, probably most important point is grind. I have played it since launch

As it's f2p, probably most important point is grind. I have played it since launch and put not a single cent in it and I have already unlocked a lot of new parts. Could be more of course ^^ But if you spend some time learning the market system you can actually make a lot of game cash. So it's ok for me.

Matches are pretty funny, although bots could learn some more tricks. Pvp is pretty brutal and fast, so it is not as boring as other games where you camp for minutes and hope something happens. So instead of one big match you do like 2 or 3. I spend a lot of time in garage just constructing actually. At least if you build a bad car you don't have to suffer long ^^

There are also a lot of players around, so hopefully the game will be around for a good while too. Most important for me now is that they add new parts and factions (you can join them in game and by fighting for them they give you new parts), so that you have even more options to build. second they should work more on balancing all of the weapons. Then I will continue to play it for a long time ^^

Nice game. You get a vehicle, kit it out with post apocalyptic weapons and armour then drive into a scenario with it and try to destroy the other team. Many different options to customise your vehicle. The level of detail is great with cars getting shredded everywhere.

Quite a fun game with good graphics and a decent soundtrack, but p2w elements destroyed the game.

It's a great idea and almost executed very well, there are just a few things that let it down.

Initially, the learning curve is too steep so you're constantly wondering which pieces you should be using and why. Levelling up is very quick and then suddenly very slow which kills the buzz. They also give you too much for the first five levels — I would have preferred it if they spread

To begin with, matches are great fun for a while and then they plateaus and drop shortly after. The main reasons for dropping are the same vehicles dominating and taking too long to level up after a certain point.

Overall, it's a great game but longevity suffers from balancing issues — early on, you shouldn't be matched against insanely powerful melee weapons that you can't escape once they've hit you.

Too heavy on microtransactions and too slow on player progress, Crossout shows an entertaining and solid gameplay, even if some uncomfortable control choices are frankly unexplainable. All in all, being it a free-to-play game, it surely deserves a try.

With its fun gameplay and interesting take on the online shooter genre, Crossout is a decent idea that sadly lacks depth.

If you’re looking for something to get your teeth into, something with a nice progression system and loads of content that will keep you busy, then Crossout is the game for you.
