If you’re looking for something to get your teeth into, something with a nice progression system and loads of content that will keep you busy, then Crossout is the game for you.

Too heavy on microtransactions and too slow on player progress, Crossout shows an entertaining and solid gameplay, even if some uncomfortable control choices are frankly unexplainable. All in all, being it a free-to-play game, it surely deserves a try.

Crossout is a MMO action game where players builds their own combat machine from dozens of interchangeable parts. Craft, combat and destroy all the enemies in PvP and PVE online battles.

With its fun gameplay and interesting take on the online shooter genre, Crossout is a decent idea that sadly lacks depth.

So after having about 200h of Playtime I think i can give a proper review to this pretty nice game.

Crossouts core is about crafting some vehicles, fight with it, recraft and improve them.
So on the end you are feeling like being part of a MadMax movie which is really awesome cause the grahpics and the atmosphere are nicely done.
The Controllings are very intuitive and easy to handle.

The Crafting Mechanics are the most fun part. Whatever you can think of being able to drive, you can build. Its basically the Minecraft for vehicles. Some parts of the Crafting Interface are a bit hard to get used to. but its only a matter of minutes

The fights are very action paced and easy to get in. take your car, join the fight, kill as much as you can. mostly the idea that you can destroy every single part of the enemy, which he stick to his car, is extremly fun.
if you are tired of PvP for some reasons you can for some PvE Missions huntind down Bosses with as squad of people.

To sum it up, Crossout got a lot of potential and im really looking forward what Gaijin will get out of all these awesome features

Grindy simple car shooter where you can be creative with your car building. I saved up en grinded for a nice new car. Bought it, drove it and build upon it with the extra modules that it could handle. AND THEY NERF IT! Almost half of the modules that could be put on it where gone. Why do this to the player base. It takes a lot of hours to upgrade. And then they randomly nerf things you took the effort grinding for. Bad decision on the devs part! And if you wanna implement these kind of changes. Share it with your player base so they dont feel screwed afterwards. I'm pretty much done with this game. Full Review »
