The best Call of Duty in years, the campaign is absolutely awesome, with great cinematics, decent graphics and a fresh approach to the franchise. Multiplayer mode is good as always.

A very well made masterpiece that was desperately needed for the COD community. Everything is so different from all the other CODs and more innovative making this the best to this day.

It cool to see that Call of Duty is doing some thing new to the series, but the one thing that got me that it reminded me of Titanfall without the wall running and titans but it is still a coo game buy it if you like the future and are a big C.O.D fan if not then you won't like this one.

This game is THE BEST CALL OF DUTY ever. The campaign is blood pulsing and very interesting. As well, the multiplayer is the best yet. If you are starting your kid on call of duty, then this is the game. You can turn lbood and language off.

Great maps. Great fluid movements, miles better than black ops 3. Campaign wasn't amazing but definitely holds up. The guns feel really good, accurate statistics. This is the multiplayer I stick to amongst all the releases in the past year.

At this point, the "Call of Duty" formula is familiar. No matter how good the games are, quality doesn't equal innovation. No matter how good the games are, quality doesn't equal innovation. With that being said, Sledgehammer's "Advanced Warfare" is an improvement over the very basic "Ghosts" which was made by Infinity Ward, the series' creator. The PS4/XBOX ONE version of AW is a visual stunner that runs at the usual 60 FPS. It's the futuristic gadgets and Kevin Spacey that make this COD stand out. The story is Tom Clancy-lite with Spacey's villain taking center stage. He plays Jonathan Irons, an evil C.E.O. who provides private military contractors with advanced warfare technology. In the end, Irons is just another Bond-like bad guy who wants to profit from world war, but Spacey brings class to the role. The thrilling gadgets featured in the campaign include the sticky gloves that Tom Cruise used in "Mission Impossible", thermal vision grenades, exo-skeletons, mechs and mobile heat-seeking missile launchers. It's all very cool, yet familiar thanks to the obligatory scripted events. The exo-skeletons are used in multiplayer which gives it a faster-pace and the new modes are enjoyable. However, the new cooperative survival mode is not as good as the one featured in "Modern Warfare 3". It supports four players and maps can be unlocked by replaying levels, but it quickly becomes tiring due to boring mini-challenges and limited enemy types. I bought the first DLC pack and the new zombies map is a very basic one; a throwback to the zombies found in the original "Black Ops". Overall, the game is solid one, but not a very groundbreaking one. This isn't the masterpiece of "Modern Warfare" nor is it the vanilla "Ghosts". It's good, but the peak of the series has already past. 8.4 out of 10. Expand

So, I've always bought the COD games and I've never been a big fan of the series, just the same old recycled game over and over. I have to say, Advance warfafe is hands down the best COD game ever made.
The graphics are stellar, the campaign mode is engaging and fun and its an all round good time. Kevin Spacey is amazing, and its the first COD game that had a good story that made sense

Good story line. And there's a twist i didnt see coming. Loved it. And multiplayer is amazing. But once you get used to Exo Suits, advanced weapons and perks, and the maps of AW, playing MW3 becomes difficult .-. Still one of the best CoD games ever

From super fast paced versatile gameplay to having INSANE customization options that have never been seen before in any FPS game, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare left a unerasable mark on the next gen consoles. With a new super-technological storyline that fits in the future, to a recreation of the world's best side game: CoD Zombies, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the game that reassures good hopes to the fans of Call Of Duty.
Of course there is a lot of controversy that the game brings up in terms of differences with the rest of the franchise, but this is just a way of saying to the fans that Call of Duty is NOT the same game every year, and can step up its game and produce efficiently.

ZOMBIES: Everyone's favorite undead nazis are back (Though all I really saw were a bunch of them wearing burger king outfits. I guess the whole world domination thing didn't work out for them, and now they have to flip patties for minimum wage like the rest of us.) This time though, they have some how progressed from barely being able to break down wood barricades to operating complicated and expensive military thrust packs.
Im also glad to see that they have continued with the always complicated easter eggs that have steps that go something like this:

Step !. Find a paperclip and some duct tape
Step 2: Use the paperclip and duct tape you found to create and enigma machine
Step 3: The enigma machine should spit out a bunch of code.
Step 4: Take that code to Magic Johnson's house and he will decipher it for you and tell you it is the secret to how he has managed to stay alive and have such a (HIV) Positive outlook on life while suffering from a debilitating disease like AIDS.
Step 5: Return with your new found knowledge and start developing a cure for AIDS
Step 6: Realize that the previous 5 steps have taken you 32 rounds to complete and immediately get killed by a high level zombie before you are done with developing the cure.

TL:DR: You are super lazy if you think that this review is long enough to require this.

I always buyt Call of Duty Titles for the campaigns . I will surely say that this game delivered the most enjoyable and memorable campaign to date . Where as I enjoyed every campaign so far , this is the one than shines most . Sledgehammer games were very innovative with the Exo Skeletons and all the futuristic equipment and weaponry . I still play this game a lot

I found the map design to be superior in striking a balance between offering some camping spots but not too many, but not so run-and-gun-centric like typical 3 lane maps that don't allow much besides running down a lane or waiting for someone to run down the lane. The variety of weapons is vast, and I have earned a large % of the variants without spending any money besides the base game and the season pass for new maps. I'm still having fun. I'm still learning different weapons. I bought Black Ops 3 when it was released, and I ended up logging very little time on it as I find AW much more appealing. Expand

Both games are a military science fiction first-person shooter and both have similar game mechanics. Also in both games they have exo-suits which enhance your character's abilities and movements. Such as walking on walls, punching someone into the air, sliding across the battlefield, super stomp, and super jump. Some differences they have are the weapons.

One thing I don’t like about Black Ops 3 is they do not have a lazer shotgun and rifle but Advanced Warfare does. Also Black Ops 3 you can change your character but you can’t in Advanced Warfare. In Advanced Warfare you can customize your character with different equipment. Some things I would want to see in the next game in the series is both Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 combined. Also with the multiplayer I would have to say that they are similar but a few differences such as you can choose your player model in BO3 and in AW you can customize and choose your player-model.

Also in multiplayer you have to kill the other team before they kill you. There are many different game modes in these games. There is Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Search and Destroy and Mosh Pit. These game modes also can be played in hardcore mode which you do not know how much ammo you have and no mini map.

In Capture the flag you have to go on the enemy's territory and bring their flag to your base. In team deathmatch you have to get to 75 kills before the enemy team. Also you kill the enemy team and one enemy equals one kill. In Search and Destroy you play as the diffuser or planting the bomb. There are two different bomb locations. As diffuser if a bomb is planted you have to go diffuse it and you win or you could kill the bomber before he plants. In mosh pit is is a mixture of all of these.

So Black Ops 3 and Advanced Warfare are good games that still keep the COD franchise moving. Even Though ADV is an older game that BO3 had to follow they are still keeping gamers interested in the Call of Duty series.

Unlike previous entries, this one features the likeness of a major Hollywood actor. In "Advanced", Kevin Spacey plays a corrupt C.E.O. who isn't a far cry from his "House of Cards" character. Gameplay-wise, the big innovation is the exo-suits which are right out of the sci-fi flick "Elysium". Their inclusion in multiplayer help quicken the pace to the combat in both competitive and cooperative modes. Unfortunately, the suits' abilities are restricted in the otherwise entertaining campaign.

One of the game's highlights are the visuals. Graphically, it is a solid jump up from the previous gen's COD titles. The single player takes on the form of a futuristic "Modern Warfare" with cool tech such as the sticky gloves from "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol". Developer Sledgehammer Games (they co-created MW 3) has not only done a steady job with the single player and multiplayer aspect, but have added their own zombies experience. The exo-suits give the "Advanced Warfare" zombie maps a different feel from Treyarch's zombies. AW also includes a cooperative survival mode that featues waves of different enemies. It can be played with four players and is quite fun though it lacks depth.

Overall, this is a solid entry in the "Call of Duty" franchise. It may not be a masterpiece, but it is a solid outing. I'd rate it with an 8.3 out of 10.

I do not understand the hate this game gets, all those zeros, this is not in no way a bad game. It is a very underrated game that gets too much hate. The campaign is one of my favorite COD campaigns, very fun and replayable. Multiplayer is very fun as well there is lots of fun to be had and the maps are all interesting and stand out compared to the other CODs.

Up until the release of Modern Warfare in 2019, this was my all-time favorite Call of Duty. Being given an exo suit with incredible power and punching all sorts of enemies was satisfying all the time. While the missions were a little restrictive, they never got boring. The only gimmick I hated was the mag-gloves. These pieces of trash forced you to go straight up, down, left, or right; you can't go diagonal which makes it so annoying. The other tech you are given is so much fun and mixes up the gameplay. The advanced movement, lethal and tactical gear is incredible. The survival mode was hard, but an excellent mode and new spin to survival from Modern Warfare 3. The objectives you are given are fun, and so are the upgrades you can get. Zombies at first I was very critical of, but now I think it was just not what I was used to, but it was a good thing none the less and had some good twists to the gameplay. The one thing I HATE about it though is the EMP zombies because at one point, the ability to jump really high is NEEDED and the moment you can't do that, it's more about running for your life until you regain power than it is about the carnage. The multiplayer is probably the worst part of the game and has been the only time that I feel like I'm suffering when playing. The boosted jump makes shooting idiots near impossible. Some tactical items are now nearly pointless because of the boosted jump. Guns needed to be more powerful because of the boosted jump. This was just a poor case for multiplayer. Expand

If you play Call Of Duty online all year round then Christmas has officially come early. But if you’re a sucker for the ludicrous, globe-trotting, re-skinned James Bond adventures that constitute these games in single player, you’ve picked the perfect year in which to take a twelve-month break.
