UFC Personal Trainer is good, both for the occasional workout when you feel like it, and as a true personal training regime with daily workouts that push you to your limits.

A good and valid workout program, suited for some serious home fitness. Don't expect to be trained in MMAs tough, because except for some boxing excercises, you won't find much.

Testing workouts, let down by sluggish Kinect tracking and poor representation. [Oct 2011, p.93]

UFC Personal Trainer is a great addition to the small stable of fitness games on Kinect, offering something that's both in-depth and incredibly intense. However, it's simply let down by a lack of more casual, enjoyable game aspects and pointless trainers with little to contribute. That said, if you give it your time and attention, UFC Personal Trainer should yield some real results to show off on the beach this summer, if that's what you want.

UFC Personal Trainer does a great job at making you feel like you're actually training in a UFC gym by some of the greats rather than looking silly in your living room.

UFC Personal Trainer is a solid fitness game, but its shaky tracking and repetitive trainers soon bog it down.

OK, so forget everything about cute and friendly workout games like Wii Fit and Zumba Fitness. UFC Personal Trainer is about to make you a MMA fighter. For real. Even though the speaker outright sucks, the exercise you get is really good. This game actually will kick your ass and give you muscles and a nice time while doing it.

Fails to rise above the other fitness games out there, due to its spotty body movement detection and questionable audio choices.

UFC Personal Trainer is an interesting game but not for everyone. A person looking primarily for some fun and then for the possibility to do some work done won't find anything interesting here. But if you're not interested in graphics and are looking for some real workout - it's the right thing for you.

UFC Personal Trainer would make a fine introduction into the world of fitness – it's just a shame that the surrounding shell of the software is so lacklustre.

Perhaps then, the biggest THQ has made is that they have explicitly created a fitness game rather than camouflaging exercise within the game, such as Fighters Uncaged or the plethora of dance titles on the market. Until this happens, and until the social aspects of the game are improved or a punchable man-shaped peripheral is released, gamers are going to find few reasons within UFC Personal Trainer to take their workouts from the gym into their living rooms.

If you're looking for motivation to get in better shape, UFC Personal Trainer will annoy before it inspires. But if you're looking for an interactive tool that can supplement your healthy lifestyle with home exercise, UFC Personal Trainer can be handy.

If you are looking for a serious fitnessgame to really train your condition, UFC comes close. If you have the proper motivation that is, because the game itself sure isn't going to motivate you.

UFC Personal Trainer offers the most exhausting workout in video games, but bugs, repetitive programmes, and overlong stretching periods cause you to tire for the wrong reasons.

Overall, this is a fairly disappointing title where a lot more could be done with the excellent licensing opportunities.

There's a great Kinect workout waiting to be made - this isn't it. But though it is flawed, UFC Personal Trainer should still get the committed fitter faster than its current rivals - just not without frustration along the way.

Hit The Mitts shows you what Zuffa could have done - a mini-game that reacts well to your punches.

UFC Personal Trainer isn't a great video game, but it is a pretty damn good workout. It'd be downright fantastic if it had better body tracking abilities, and if the voice controlled menu actually functioned correctly most of the time.

I sweated through several of Personal Trainer's routines, and by the end, felt the comfortable muscle burn you usually get after a workout, which I suppose is one of the goals of any fitness program, but UFC Personal Trainer fails to deliver in every other way. These digital trainers are less helpful than a real trainer and the martial arts drills they run you through lack the satisfaction of punching a real boxing mitt or speed bag. This trainer won't make you a champion.

As aI should probably state that UFC Personal Trainer is one of the better games on the Kinect, but that in itself doesn't mean much. As a fitness game it delivers in some respects and for the most part the Kinect holds it's own, but ultimately the experience falls on its face, with terrible body tracking and the usual "Kinect" problems surfaces. The game gives the impression of being incredibly polished (I especially liked the menu system), but Kinect's latent inaccuracies rears its head (whether this is an issue on the hardware side, or software based, I can only speculate). My score is probably a little harsh, but UFC Personal Trainer has potential, hopefully the sequel will provide the definitive fitness game. UFC Personal Trainer for Kinect does not deliver. Kinect response in this game is very good except for those years in which you have to lie on the ground as lizards.

Must always warm up before any exercise routine and post-activities to avoid cramps.

These games should be folded into the language of each region as it is not possible to be doing the exercises while trying to read some subtitles barely make out. In spite of this and the lack of a heavier and motivating music to throw punches, the game continues to be the most mature and accomplished among the best games available on the market Fitness Kinect for both fans UFC and for those who want to lose a few pounds.

As far this is the best workout game for Kinect, I am really looking forward to see what EA can deliver for us coach potato gamers.
