not terrible, but not great. the gameplay is cheap, and unintuitive.

It's very offensive, and shows children being raped.

Other than that it's what you would expect from southpark, decent voice acting but no substance whatsoever.

Man the first 30 -40 minutes of this game are great. It feels and looks like Southpark . However I'll never get past that point since I spent another hour just trying to get past the stupid "Magic" tutorial. It's annoying on so many levels. They don't tell you what your doing wrong, and each time you fail you have to wait while Cartman does it perfectly. However him showing you how to doMan the first 30 -40 minutes of this game are great. It feels and looks like Southpark . However I'll never get past that point since I spent another hour just trying to get past the stupid "Magic" tutorial. It's annoying on so many levels. They don't tell you what your doing wrong, and each time you fail you have to wait while Cartman does it perfectly. However him showing you how to do it doesn't help as you can't see what he's doing with the keyboard. All you get is a picture of the A and D keys slowly going back and forth and it doesn't help at all . No option to skip this nonsense . I mean wtf is a rhythm game mechanic doing in a rpg. They game should realize there is something very wrong after 30 minutes of him doing that. But it doesn't . I just keeps you there . Maybe this bit is super easy for others but for me I couldn't figure out what they wanted. I put a good 3 hours into the game and was unable to complete it. Maybe I'll try it again if it gets patched. Expand

Game is very slow and boring. If you are not a South Park fan, there is nothing to see here. And I think even if you do like South Park this game is stupid and boring.

In a Venn diagram of South Park fans and adventure RPG fans this game exists in the overlap. If you find yourself there too then this game is an absolute no-brainer.

I had heard that Stephen King's Misery was a love letter written to his fans. South Park: The Stick of Truth is a similar love note from Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
