CaptainOneEyeJul 5, 2007I was really surprised when I read most of the previous user reviews on this game. Nothing is more frustrating then a game that takes you up to 10 minutes to get into. Once you finally get into a game you realize the 10 minute wait wasn't worth it do to all the repetitive play and maps. I bought this game at release and traded it in the next week at a $30 loss. Pass on this one!!!

JohnP.May 31, 2007When I worked in games, I would vote on Metacritic and I actually gave a game I worked on a high score, even though it was crap. Much can be said of the User Reviews for Shadowrun. You're all lying. The game is mediocre at best.

TraceA.Jun 1, 2007Wow this game feels so uninpsired and bad. No wonder its FASA's last game.

JamesY.Jun 29, 2007Bland, uninspired mulitplayer action for a price tag that's three times over it's real value. A budget title masquerading as a title worthy of a $60 price tag, this limp game has no single player capacity (save for the disc's dual purpose as a coffee coaster). Wait until this reaches the bargain bins that it's destined for.

DavidS.Jun 4, 2007A complete disgrace for a game that is being sold for sixty bucks.

pizzathehuttSep 19, 2007Good idea, bad execution. For an online game you sure do have a lot of problems with mass boots. This should be a value priced game due to the lack of offline and the visual blandness of this game.

This is a great game. If you’re willing to abandon your preconceived notions as to what a Shadowrun game should be and simply accept it for what it is, you’ll find a deep and complex first-person shooter that is tons of fun and packed with variety.
-
The biggest disappointment in this otherwise fairly enjoyable shooter is the lack of content once you've finally grasped the formula. There are only nine similar-looking maps to choose from, with more expected down the line via downloadable content.

Shadowrun is a magnificent multiplayer adventure that is sure to keep you entertained for as long as you wish to play.
