May 30, 2011Moon Diver feels like the kind of game that was released near the end of the Dreamcast's life cycle. It's aimed directly at people who grew up playing this kind of game, with very few token nods to the fact that time has passed between now and 1999. You can usefully compare it to most if not all of the good 2D games of the last ten years.

Jun 19, 2011For gamers looking for an old-school experience on their newfangled Xbox 360 they really won't go wrong with Moon Diver, especially if they were fans of the previous Strider games. Like a space-age Castlevania, Moon Diver will kick most any gamers ass – but in an old-school way that feels so good.

Jun 1, 2011While it's easy to compare it to Capcom's 1989 hit Strider, Moon Diver certainly stands on its own. The game does suffer from repetitive gameplay and a bit too much grinding, but the fact-paced action and four-player mode more than makes up for the shortcomings!
