Friendly to gamers of all ability levels, Minecraft is a game that is actually easier to play than it's computer based counterpart. With easy to use button controls, the game provides endless hours of fun for everyone. I don't game that much on PC (my computer sucks) so seeing Minecraft being ported to the 360 was a pleasant surprise. It's a lot of fun single player, but it is even better getting a split screen game going with friends and working together on the huge survival maps. The controls take a bit of getting used to, and the music could have some more variety but this was an excellent port sinceI don't game that much on PC (my computer sucks) so seeing Minecraft being ported to the 360 was a pleasant surprise. love the game split screen is awesome and to thoughs who complain about split screen doesn't work on non HD TV's you poor and don't complain about how you want it too, I bet the reason is because the graphics arent compatible with non HD any love this game wish they would make mods, but oh well

My 12yr old daughter introduced me to Minecraft a few weeks ago. I have yet to play another game (I own PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360). It's just ridiculously addictive. I can only give the game 10/10 because it's a game with unlimited potential - it is what you want it to be. There are very few, if any, games that offer the same kind of incredible freedom.

This game is awesome. This game was released in 2012 and we still have updates for new content sometimes and that's great. Minecraft is an awesome game if you try to learn how to play well. It's fun to play alone or with friends. For 20$, I'm not disappointed at all. You still have less function than the PC game, but it's still a great console game.

Ótima adaptação da versão de PC, só decepciona por trazer um mapa extremamente reduzido, controles um pouco mais confusos e um pouco de lag, principalmente jogando Split-Screen.

I do admit that minecraft is a mixed series in my opinion but the X360 version stands out to me. The controls are complex but not for long. The multiplayer is fun as well. I love this game. Well the other versions are mediocre to okay but not this one.

To me, the only way to play minecraft is on xbox. This is a really awesome game. It really is! I hope Mojang makes an update where the Northern Lights are put into this version of Minecraft. If they were to make that update happen, it would be so cool!

Probably the most nostalgia Minecraft out there and one of the best editions. I had countless hours of this game. If you are looking for an old version of this game, this is the way to go!

A decent game that offers creativity and build flexes. I’m not a huge fan of survival, but being on creative mode with friends and building is what I like about Minecraft.

This game is amazing! This used to be the only thing I would play. I remember my friends coming over so we could play the game. It is a shame that they have stopped updating it.

Minecraft is a wonderful concept that allows one to be creative in whichever way they please. The music is wonderful, the mechanics are fun and interesting, the different modes like creative and survival perfectly suit many different kinds of people, and the game is relatively simple. Overall it's a great game for all ages.

The real game of course is better, the mods, the servers, etc. But this worked really well as a couch game with some friends, plus it was a gift sooo... yeah **** loved it

I love this version! My mum, sister and I spent a whole school holidays building a city! Lots of fun memories! It's too bad that 4J stopped updating it but the hardware limitations were very apparent at that point. When I go back to this version I think of how many people played this and the player base is still there. Minecraft is a never ending game.

It's Minecraft, just now on 360. The maps are smaller, it is running on an older version of the game (with updates to be rolled out over time, much like the pc version), and it has ditched dedicated servers in favor of a drop in, drop out system based on the original player's save. It also includes a nice 4-player splitcreen mode, and allows for eight people to play toget

It was perfect. Until 1.13. But the legacy and additions and unique content for this version like texture packs and better super flatworld creation brings it to higher heights than any other. 1.13 brings it too close too modern Minecraft for my liking even if its objectively better. Also miss the this crafting system

Minecraft on the Xbox Live Arcade is an addicting and rewarding experience, assuming you are willing to put the time into the experience. This is one of those games where you will truly get out whatever you put into the game, and that can be both good and bad. If you put in the time and dedication though, you will discover one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences ever.

Minecraft is just as addictive on the Xbox 360 as it was on the PC. Too bad the world is only a small fragment of that of the original game. [June 2012]
