    I've only played about 8 missions so far, but all the commentary had me cracking up. The story so far is amazing, voice acting is stunning. And the graphics are beautiful. This game is the closest thing to perfection.

    Excellent. I'd probably give it a 9.9 if I could...the framerate issues and lack of checkpoints on missions take it down a notch. Otherwise, the game has everything....EVERYTHING. It will be the best $60 you will spend on your Xbox 360 or PS3. The detail is unbelievable. Physics are awesome. The story is on par with the best in cinema. Hang around waiting?     This game is incredible. The aiming system is a real revolution in my eyes. I've never seen anything like it. The guns feel precise and powerful in a realistic way. The aiming system involves both a free-aim and a targeted aim where the crosshairs stay with the target, but you can move them relative to their center of mass.     I've played this game for 12 hours straight and I have to say, while it does have its (very VERY slight) problems, this is one of the best games I have ever played. Period.

    Its no reason why this game should be less than a 10. i have only play for about 1 hr and I didnt want to put it down.

    It's just GTA with a more powerful graphics engine. It's no where near as good as the acclaim it's getting. If you like the other GTA's, this is the game for you.

    Not perfect, but damn this is a brilliant piece of artwork and constructive media. It deserves every cent/penny that it earns. (this is a 9.999999999 but the option wasn't there).

    This game is awesome, the graphics are stunning, the story is mind blowing, and the gameplay is a step up from before. Multiplayer is also a welcome addition to the series, the game types will ensure hours of play after completing the final game.

    Good looking game but far too much hanging around waiting for something to happen for my liking. If you love GTA, you'll probably LOVE this, if you love games, you'll just LIKE this.

    I played this game before anybody on this website considering that I do get games before they are released. GTA4 is a masterpiece and I don't think users should be able to vote before it comes out because that lets other users think that it might not be a good game considering that most of the users don't know what the hell they are talking about.     This is the best game I ever played in my life! I'm 19 years old and I was playing many, many, many games. I don't was playing on multiplayer but singleplayer is awseome!! Everything is very good. I don't understand why users give that low score. I love it.

    Surpasses that which has been tried in this generation. The multiplayer is a must play, single player is amazing, and the ability of Rockstar Games to pay attention to the tiniest details is beyond words.

    Epic on all levels, the music, the city, the peds, the vehicles. This game accomplishes what most games can only dream of and then some. Rockstar once again topped their previous efforts and put to shame the GTA clones. And don't even get me started on how amazing the multiplayer is. Now I must get some sleep.

    Game is insane. Visuals are awesome and physics are really good too. For example, very satisfying to run people over with the car and backup over them and see the car ride over them like a bump. And to shoot people in the head while theyâ??re on the ground and blood splatters on the screen and watch it ooze onto the ground. Lots and lots of stuff to do besides missions. For example, I went on a bowling date with a chickâ?¦tried to call her for another date to see if I could get laid the second time, but missed the date (she kept callin/textin to see where I was) cause instead ended up going to a strip club with a buddy. Got excited to see the strippers and tried to jump up on stageâ?¦so the bouncers threw us out. So I went back in with my piece and shot everyone dead. Then the Cops flooded the place so I had a shootout with them till I ran out of ammo and died. That was all sandbox thing, not a real mission. Funnest game I've ever played.… Expand

    A very good game, and definitely the best entry into the GTA series to date. However, it has numerous small problems, that on the surface may seem insignificant, but on the whole make the game very stagnant around the 10th hour. Simply put, the combat still lacks any variety or nuance, and that just gets dull quickly.

    Almost as good as Halo 3 as a game overall but even more technically impressive. Having the grace of owning both PS3 and 360, I would still say between the eventual added DLC, achievements and far superior texture and color representation, the 360 still manages to outshine the PS3 version.

    This game is awesome I can already tell from all the things you can do in it. This is nothing like any other GTA game. And it deserves 10/10 in my opinion anyways.

    It's a nice game but I can't see it as a 100 points game. For that it should be perfect and in all means it's not perfect. Actually I found it only a small improvement in the series.

    Sublime - Rockstar have pushed the boundaries once again for what makes a truly amazing game. Yeah there may be minor flaws but that's all they are - MINOR. They really do not hinder your enjoyment one bit. Game of the Year without a doubt, go buy it now!

    Not enough of a difference from the other GTA games other than for the graphics which in my opinion are not all that either. Was expecting much more from all the hype.

    Yep it's that damn good...a rating of 10 really doesn't do this game justice and to think I was never really a fan of the other games. I'm just blown away by the size and the ridiculous amount of things that can be done in this game.

    Got this a few days before it came out, it is great so far...a few slow and boring missions at first but then things get really cool and the action is good.

    Far and beyond the greatest game of this generation. This is the first game in a long while that pushes the bounds of what gamers believed were possible. Weither your doing SP, MP, or just sandboxing around in Liberty City... this game doesn't get old.

    Grand Theft Auto has always been one of the games that gives one of the most open-world experiences. I've never gotten bored from any GTA game. I have been frustrated at times, but that shows that it all wont be easy. GTA IV will be a phenomenon that will easily change how people play games.

    What the hell is wrong with the people who are giving this game less than 10? I have not seen a game released, or even announced that rivals the technical prowess of GTA IV. Aside from the stellar graphics is the amazing, and seamless, gameplay using the Euphoria engine. Which incorporates good control as well as true-to-life physics that rival if not beat games like Crysis. And to all What the hell is wrong with the people who are giving this game less than 10?     GTA has always been the benchmark for sandbox games and GTA IV has set the benchmark extremely high and I can't see anything beating it for game of the year. It has it's flaws but the game is so well rounded it more than makes up for it.

    Just truely and amazing game. The city feels alive and every previous problem in the series has been fixed. There may be the few instances of a technical glitch, but it takes nothing away from the experience. Once of the greatest games EVER made.

    This is the game I've been looking forward to since the first trailer, now ONLY 3 MORE DAYS! I hope that Saint's Row 2 is going to take lots of the ideas from the GTA IV.

    is utterly boring
    im sure they paid all the reviewers to give high scores the game is so similar to past gta it has only better grapics even the missions are the same!! crap i was bored in 30 minutes also they don't have some options for example no gym so u cant change the appearence of the main character what a letdown! i thought this    i Played this game.

    Only minimal drawback is lack of "in-car" camera. This game is the best game I have ever played on xbox 360. Many, many hours of entertainment!
