The presentation is flavorful and creative, and most of the mini-games are enjoyable when the difficulty isn't ridiculously hard.
-
A great level of Japanese-inspired humor, charm, and the arcade vibe works in its favor, but there's nothing incredibly new or outstanding about the games.
-
Not all of them are hits; however, there are a couple of gems that deserve being rediscovered.
-
There are some strong positives with Furu Furu Park, mainly with the classic gaming angle. However, for a genre that lives and dies by how the next mini-game can out-do itself, Furu Furu Park wanders somewhere in limbo.
-
The classic games are completely underutilized due to the time limits placed on them, causing each to offer no more than a few minutes of gameplay. There's fun to be had -- just don't expect it to last very long.
-
For all the flair and weirdness of Furu Furu Park, the real meat of the product -- the minigames -- ends up being a thin and unimpressive experience.
