    Ultimately, Dokapon Kingdom for the Wii is a typical party game; luck, luck, pushing luck, and pondering the nature of luck.

    But this game is definitely unique among its peers, and although it is not quite the best of both worlds, it is definitely worth checking out if you are a party game or RPG enthusiast.

    If you've got the patience for a slow-burn party game and tolerance for hands-off interaction -- and you're cool with indirect mayhem and humiliation instead of constant head-to-head brawls -- I can see the game growing on you. Dokapon Kingdom may well hook a certain type of player, but I will say that it just didn't grab us.

I'm giving it a 9 because it is a completely multiplayer experience and because the soundtrack and voice acting is very much sbpar, also the graphics are simplistic, but I, personally, find them charming. If you play this by yourself, you'll probably end up frustrated and yelling at the computer. If you play it with friends, you'll have the most fun ever. I am serious when I say I don't think I have ever had this much fun with a game. Much like Monopoly or Risk, it's a friendship destroyer, bu in the best of ways. There will be fun, and there will be backstabbing, which will also be fun when you change your friend's name in revenge. The game takes days to complete in story mode, but you can save anytime, so it works. I'm giving it a 9, but in sheer fun, its an 11, the perfect party game.… Full Review »

Computer getting whatever roll it needs 99% of the time? Check. Computer always performing the battle action that is best against yours? Check. Knowing what type of random event is on every space? Landing directly on the Darkling space every time? Getting a Contract the same turn they become eligible to do so every single time? Check. Check. Check. And that's against an EASY AI. I recommend this game only to game developers as an example of how NOT to program computer-controlled characters.… Full Review »

Me and 3 friends are playing it on story mode (yes, 4 people can play story mode together), and we have had countless hours of fun. This game brings together the best aspects of Mario Party mixed with a generic RPG ~ and it is amazing.… Full Review »
