This game was disappointing. The alternating modes make it very stop-start and repetitive. The worlds all feel walled in, caved in, or on pillars that prevent anything other than unidirectional motion. One reason to hate the game: constant advice and directions. No need to think on your own. The new additional items feel like cheat codes. ( I don't want to spoil anything) After 20 hoursThis game was disappointing. Nintendo is making a huge mistake with these gimmick amiibo's. It is ridiculous to take up more physical space in my house and cost; just to unlock content. Nintendo is really greedy for that: Sell people things they don't want, and if they don't buy them, take away parts of the game that were already programmed into their purchase. How can so many people give this 5 stars? My guess is they have more of their mind on their amiibo collection than problem solving.

I thought the original versions sucked, but man this one sucks even more. I was hoping Nintendo had fixed at least some of the infinite flaws this game has, but they haven't! Hyrule field and the overworld is still empty, the boss battles are still too easy, the soundtrack still sucks, the AI is still stupid, and the wolf link sections are still unbearable. Zelda fans, do yourself a favourI thought the original versions sucked, but man this one sucks even more. I know that many people consider this game to be a masterpiece, but after Wind Waker I was just unpleasant to play Twilight Princess.Boring start, unpleasant character and world design, dull music

One component of the original Twilight Princess refused to be transferred into HD. It is, unfortunately, the most important one – the game’s distinct atmosphere, that vanished almost completely. [05/2016, p.61]

This attractive port is a great chance to reappraise - and very much enjoy - an underrated Zelda. [Apr 2016, p.76]

Twilight Princess HD is a great game and should be played if you haven't on the Wii or GameCube. To those that already played it, this HD release offers few additions.
