    The Devil’s Third is a hell of a lot of fun because it breaks every rule in the book. I would take that, technical warts an all, over the glistening and safe nonsense that we’re exposed to from almost every other shooter out there.

    Itagaki-san created a quite interesting game that combines melee and ranged fighting in a unique and great way. It's not on par with the masterpieces of old, but it definitely delivers.

    Although its gameplay is outdated and the game has some technical issues, Devil's Third delivers fun and a good online multiplayer.

There are signs of a troubled development and the mix between tps and melee action could have used more work, but we are far from the crazy 2/10 or 4/10 critics are giving to this game.
