    here come the people review bombing and calling the battle system boring without even understanding the mechanics past auto attacking. the exact same happened with 2, so I'm not surprised. if you can't understand the game, you should go back to fortnite!

    Best game in the serie it plays good, looks good have a good story and enough content to keep you busy. Loving the music btw thats very good. They did a great job. Ganeplay wise i like this game more then part 2.

    Best one of the series so far. Awesome graphics, captivating story and nice combat mechanics. Oh, and the music! It's top notch. Worth every penny, specially considering how many hours of gameplay this game provides. It's a must have for Switch owners, even for those that are not much into JRPGs, it's worth a try.

    Level design and story does not live up to original Xenoblade Chronicles. It's a solid game with beautiful graphics and music but it struggles to bring something new/better than original game. Characters are bland and mostly generic.

    Monolith nunca defrauda, enganchado desde que lo empece, no es perfecto y abruma la gran cantidad de mecánicas y el gran mundo que posee por poner algo malo, aunque eso no quiere decir que sea malo, es un juego que exige horas simplemente y se disfruta. Si te gusta el género jrpg lo vas a gozar y si vienes de los anteriores vas a encontrar más de lo mismo pero mejor.     In my opinion, xenoblade 3 is by far the best xenoblade game. With better UI, higher resolution , advanced battle system, and of course the music and character design, if you love xenoblade 1 and 2, this is the game that will not disappoint you!

    I found XC1's combat... okay. XC2's combat I really disliked. XC3 however managed to make Xenoblade combat actually _fun_ for me. The Ourboros form, switching classes, switching characters mid combat and all make it so battles never become boring.

    Graphics?
    Insane, considering this is the Switch. They do some very dark magic of upscaling and shaders to manage this feat, but the image almost always looks fantastic. Both in docked and handheld mode.

    Issues?
    I have encountered no real bugs so far, just very minor glitches, like some items getting stuck in a wall (but still being able to pick them up), or a character vanishing in a nearby furniture piece.

    Now why just 9/10?
    Because while being a perfect Xenoblade game that overcomes almost every weakness and oddities of the former games, it isn't without flaw.
    Even though the world is vast, there's a good amount of backtracking at times when new things get unlocked in older areas - and unlocking faster running only seems to come halfway through the game.
    There's also some other QoL things missing, like being able to give much needed specific commands in battle (prioritize Ourboros, prioritize healing, ...)
    And there's a flood of unskipable tutorials in the first ~10 hours or so. Very annoying - but helpful for players new to the series.    … Expand

    I’m a veteran fan of the Xenoblade games with X being my favourite followed 1 (DE) and then 2. I’m about 8 hours in and so far this iteration of the series improves on the previous entries graphically, stylistically, and in gameplay. It’s a flawed masterpiece, like the games that came before hand, but I maintain a 10 scoring to reflect the net enjoyment the game brings me.

    Es un juego con mucho que explorar buenos personajes , exelente historia, banda sonora de 10 de las mejores que eh oido, mejora notable de gráficos a comparación del 2 en todo sentido, este juego para mi a unido varias cosas de los 2 xenoblas para traernos uno de los posiblemente mejores juegos del año que para mí es goty grazia por escuchar esta reseña estás la próxima!

    Xenoblade 3 is truly amazing. You can feel the passion, the experience and the love put into it. The developers have used their knowledge and expertise from developing Xenoblade 1, 2 and X to make this game the most fine-tuned in everyway, from the story, gameplay to Quality of Life improvements. If there's any complaint it would be the long tutorial.

    35 hours in, unlike the other 0/10 reviews that didn't actually play the game. This game is a major improvement from Xenoblade 1 and 2, the combat has depth, the music is still as good as ever and the story is REALLY GOOD, specially after part 6 and the voice acting is also way better than past games (plus now there's lip sync yay lol).

    If you want to play one of the best JRPGS Xenoblade    35 hours in, unlike the other 0/10 reviews that didn't actually play the game.     Xeno3 is the best JRPG I've played in recent years. Complex mechanics, a great plot, and adorable characters. Technically everything is perfect, and your graphics are beautiful. A true masterpiece.

    Roughly 10 hours into the game and I cannot put it down. I play mainly in handheld and man does the game look and play great. If you love JRPG’s I’d recommend giving it a go. I own all of the Xenoblade games (on switch) and this was by far the easiest game to pick up and play. Only reason I didn’t give it a 10 is because I haven’t completed the game as of yet (obviously).     This game is genuinely the best looking first party Nintendo game on the switch graphics wise. The attention to detail in this game is insane. If you enjoyed the other Xenoblade games, you would enjoy this game. MonolithSoft has outdone themselves once again.

It's a little challenging sometimes (but never really too hard) and can appear more complex in its systems than it actually is at first.It's Xenoblade through and through, but better. If you like the series, you'll love this. If you're new to XBC or even JRPGs, you might have a bit of a hard time with this one. It's very anime, yes. Obviously.     Monlithsoft has managed to create something truly special with the latest installment in the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise.

    I'm shocked by the amount of complexity, and even more-so that this level of complexity was made palettable. The class system is truly innovative, and the side mechanics like gemcrafting and cooking feel genuinely useful. Other systems such as inventory managment,    Monlithsoft has managed to create something truly special with the latest installment in the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise.

    I'm shocked by the amount of complexity, and even more-so that this level of complexity was made palettable. The class system is truly innovative, and the side mechanics like gemcrafting and cooking feel genuinely useful. Other systems such as inventory managment, ether collecting, and temporary party members serve to make an overarching system more complex than I could've anticipated. But not in a way that takes away from the grand picture, rather, they simply make it even more beautiful.

    Combat is revolutionized in this game with the ability to change the class of any character. When classes are mastered, abilities can be shared between classes. You can freely switch between party members in and out of battle, all if whome have their own classes with mastered abilities and inherent strengths and waeknesses. Combine all of this with the fusion and chain attack mechanics, and there's never a dull moment in battle. I couldn't have said this about previous titles in the franchise... not to say they were dull all of the time. One thing they nailed in particular is the feeling that weapons actually weigh as heavy or as light as they look. When you're beating an enemy around with a giant hammer every swing takes it's time; when the swing lands you send the enemy flying, and upon contact you feel a satisfying rumble in the controller and witness a brief pause on screen. All of which emphasizes the gravity of each blow.

    Another impressive feat is that sidequests don't feel unbearably generic like in past titles. Don't get me wrong, collecting mushrooms for some nameless NPC is a staple of just about any JRPG. But I'd be lying if I said it isn't a breath of fresh air to feel like I'm doing something meaningful, even when completing quests apart from the main questline. "Hero" quests categorically speaking stand out as interesting side-plots with the always satisfying reward of unlocking a new class, which can then be used to master new abilities as well as unlock fasion in the way of new outfits. Speaking of the main questline, it is undeniably the strongest in the series. Where the others touched on similar subjects, they failed to make them feel truly heavy or meaningful like they feel in this latest installment. Monolithsoft has struck the perfect balance of light heartedness and soul crushing peril.

    Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is an obvious must-play. Now standing tall above the rest of its peers as a shining example of what others should shoot for in terms of complexitiy, digestibility, and overall narrative.    … Expand

    The culmination of the first story for the JRPG series Xenoblade Chronicles, XC3 builds on the strengths of the previous games, incorporates many quality of life improvements and tells a fascinating story which is a joy to bring to fruition.

    Must buy for fans of the series, but is still accessible to folks who haven't played XC1 and XC2.

    You can tell they took the best aspects of either game to make the best product possible. I also cant believe how much can be happening on the screen at one time. Impressive!

    Great music, Really nice cutscenes and well done gameplay. But be prepared for lots of tutorials and systems to learn ;)

    Worth the hype. This game is absolutely a blast and an impressive technical achievement on the Switch. The game features a solid dub and excellent cast of characters. The combat system is strong and the story is excellent. Buy it, love it.

    Pinnacle of the series in terms of gameplay, music, story, and world. If you liked any past entry, you'll love this. The combat is immensely deep and satisfying, and the music is more dynamic and greater than before. Xenoblade 3 has reached greater heights by propelling itself from the foundation of 1 and 2.

    Since I got this game on I have played +20h and I can assure this is the best Xenoblade Chronicles game so far. Perfectioned gameplay with an excelent OST all the time. The landscapes are incredible and they look similar to other xeno games. The plot and characters are incredible. 100% rexommended

The cast of characters is immediately likeable and interesting, the story is intriguing, and the gameplay is the most involved it's ever been. Most of the filler which plagued Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is relegated to side content, and quite a lot of the game is eminently missable - which is a good thing,Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is an absolute joy to play, and the pinnacle of the franchise. The cast of characters is immediately likeable and interesting, the story is intriguing, and the gameplay is the most involved it's ever been. Most of the filler which plagued Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is relegated to side content, and quite a lot of the game is eminently missable - which is a good thing, because it means the fluff is optional for those of you who dislike it. Likewise, the story is a lot more balanced than the first Xenoblade game. No more cast members disappearing into irrelevance when their main arc is complete.

    The ultimate crescendo to the numbered series so far taking all the positives from 1, 2, and the DLCs without any of the problematic issues. They've streamlined the menus, tutorials, collecting, and side quests with an amazing story and characters. Moreover, they've managed to push the switch to it's limits. This game looks and runs amazing for the system. Great in handheld too.

    In every chapter of Xenoblade, game getting worse. Lather image quality, secondary plot, annoying grind. In AAA game we don’t have voiced side quests... 10 years ago in Skyrim every quest was voiced)

    I’ll recommend Shin Megami Tensei V, Persona 5 Royal, NEO: The World Ends With You, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim them much better than xenoblade 3.

The mouths also dont look like that made of rubber and mostly look like there actually saying the wording. Only complaints I really have is only healer can now revive and you get chain attack a little late than we should have got it. One last thing    Xenoblade chronicles 3 is great!

    Everything is really good And For a Switch game it is looking really good
    It's way better than the other xenoblade games

    The game is highly polished single player open world JRPG. If u are a fan of free exploring, making quest and top notch storyline this is a game for you. I've played Elder Scrolls series, Fallouts, Dark Souls, Witcher 1,2,3, Zelda BOTW and Elden Ring and I can totally recommend this one.     This game is one of the best jrpgs in years. Over 30h in to the game my impressions are:

    Compared to the previous installments in the franchise, this one really shines bright. The musical scores are bigger and better than before.

    The story is really great, and even better when you complete some side quests. The combat is more intuitive and pleasing than the Blade/Driver system in Xenoblade 2.

    Overall really enjoyed this game and cannot wait to see what the DLC brings in the future

    I play it now 25h, rly Great Game, Story, Music, Characters, Open World, Quesrts. All is rly good. The Combat-System works perfect.
    Pros:
    Big Open World, Music, Characters, Gameplay, Storywriting.
    Neutral: Tutorials (sometimes way to much), Textures (Hardware Limitations, so more a Switch Problem and not Monoloths)
    Cons:

    Played XB1 but never finished it. I really hated XB2 so much that I dropped it. XB3 will probably be the only Xenoblade game I will complete. The combat is so fun. it's what drew me into this game in the first place. The gameplay alone is worth trying this game out. Beware the early game on hard mode, it is extremely hard. They probably put no testing in the beginning at all.

    Just a decent RPG that let you run around and do tasks everywhere, the characters' expressions are very rigid, and there is no substantial innovation.

    I was going to give an 8, but I'm embarrassed by the co-ed bath.

    But i will continue to play, for mio.

    Very fun game. Never played an RPG that allowed me to have 7 active party members. To me, that is unique. The graphics do need a little bit more work, but I feel like its not the dev's fault, but the age of the switch. I definitely recommend this game for the gameplay!

Xenoblade 2 was unacceptable with the voices and animations. No blade gacha system, and the character designs literally fit in the universe, unlike XB2 where every antagonist looks like they areDon't know where all this negativity is coming from.     Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a clear improvement over its predecessors in almost every way. It streamlines so much and avoids past pitfalls, though there’s still work to be done in terms of balancing the difficulty. There’s a grounded story here with a solid cast of characters, and the basic plot is much easier to digest. The world design exceeds past efforts with ease, and the implementation of Hero Quests is a game changer. While the devs have done an admirable job making the battle system easier to grasp, it feels like the series has fully explored and exhausted these core combat mechanics, signaling it’s time for the next game to change things up. As a whole, it stands as a phenomenal RPG with a one-of-a-kind sense of exploration you can’t find anywhere else.
