Jul 30, 2022Pretty standard, mediocre I would say
Despite the title wanting to be more like Xenoblade 1 for Wii, it fails in several aspects that make it inferior
Personally I find the story recycled and lacking in imagination or interesting twists.
However, it's a purchase that I don't regret, I would recommend others with a different criterion to try it, because I didn't love it. -

Sep 9, 2022I dom't understand why people love this game so much. For me it's just a good story but generic stuff all over the place.

Aug 14, 2022Xenoblade Chronicles 3 delivers amazing character designs, a beautifully crafted open world, and a lengthy campaign.
However beneath the ascetic glamour, is an underwhelming story, and characters lacking any unique personality traits.
It's not a bad game It's just that when compared to other monolith titles, it's noticeably subpar. -

Sep 22, 2022God tier soundtrack, great environments, good Gameplay, nice characters, poor dialogues AND another very cliché Japanese story with all its nonsense and over complexity for saying nothing.

Apr 2, 2023This is my first time play the Xenoblade Series. The navigation is so good. I love 99% of the story. However, the ending made me uncomfortable and bad mood for all day. So, I would not give it high score unless the dlc story make Noah and Mia together.

Aug 7, 2022Definitely a decent game with an interesting story but after 70 hours, I can’t help but notice that the characters just aren’t as likable as they were in Xenoblade 2 and I just don’t care as much about the cut scenes. Are Japanese devs dumbing down characters to appease the blandness of present day western culture? That’s the vibe I get.

Aug 6, 2022Chronicles of Tedious Design: The Game. Another mediocre modern JRPG with clumsy "depth" and "world building" that actually just amounts to uninspired padding and awkward pacing. Tons of potential unrealized in this series and this is the same.
-
Jul 31, 2022Level design and story does not live up to original Xenoblade Chronicles. It's a solid game with beautiful graphics and music but it struggles to bring something new/better than original game. Characters are bland and mostly generic.

Jul 31, 2022Just a decent RPG that let you run around and do tasks everywhere, the characters' expressions are very rigid, and there is no substantial innovation.
I was going to give an 8, but I'm embarrassed by the co-ed bath.
But i will continue to play, for mio. -
Aug 6, 2022Horrible game, stupid story, NO CONNECTION with Xeno 1 and 2 (except pointless references). Great waste of time.

Aug 1, 2022Not as good as the first Xenoblade, gameplay part is definitely evolved, but the story, writing and performance are cringey as hell.
They sure have a ambitious vision for the story, but execution is just disaster.
I'm sorry for all the people who have to play the game with all these awkward cutscene. -

Aug 2, 2022Boring combat with minimal player involment because of 6+1 characters fight simultaneously. Boring banal story because of boring cliche characters. Boring world because it's empty with no unique events, no unique artifacts hidden in a cave. Very dull and passionless game.

Jul 31, 2022gracias a la con la traducción una basura, mas diverso?, censura?, veo solo hombres muy sexi y las mujeres nada....
será ultimo juego que compro -
Oct 11, 2022What happened? It's the worst Xenoblade game so far and by far. Every single aspect makes it worse than the other 3 games in the series. Monolith, what the **** happened?

Sep 6, 2022There are so many black VAs in the English dub that totally mar the overall quality & experience of Xenoblade 3. I really can't stand them, and I know others feel the same. Overall the game is decent but not amazing.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 25, 2024Ultimately, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 represents the pinnacle of the series, both gameplay-wise and narratively. The characters are another highlight of the game. They are well-drawn, with only a small amount of formulaicness. [Issue#321]

Nintendo Force MagazineNov 9, 2022I began XC3 knowing I'd enjoy it because of the fun I had with the previous games. What I didn't expect was for this to become one of my favorite JPRGs of all-time! With its engaging open world, engrossing combat system, loveable characters and gripping story, this game is a masterpiece of the genre! [Issue #62 – November/December 2022, p. 67]

Oct 11, 2022Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a clear improvement over its predecessors in almost every way. It streamlines so much and avoids past pitfalls, though there’s still work to be done in terms of balancing the difficulty. There’s a grounded story here with a solid cast of characters, and the basic plot is much easier to digest. The world design exceeds past efforts with ease, and the implementation of Hero Quests is a game changer. While the devs have done an admirable job making the battle system easier to grasp, it feels like the series has fully explored and exhausted these core combat mechanics, signaling it’s time for the next game to change things up. As a whole, it stands as a phenomenal RPG with a one-of-a-kind sense of exploration you can’t find anywhere else.
