Si bien se sale del esquema por turnos del JRPG tradicional, el sistema de combate bebe de entregas anteriores de la saga y las evoluciona con el uso de los Blades. Con las misiones secundarias y el contenido adicional, tenemos más de 100 horas de gameplay esperando por nosotros en Alrest.

    Lo Bueno: - Excelente    Un grandioso RPG con un hermosa ambientación y personajes entrañables.     The best game I have played on the Nintendo Switch, a definitive 10 game, could I say that it is one of the best jrpg of this era, a solid story, a very good battle system, well-leveled enemies, a rough world, and many swords to prove that they fit your style. I strongly recommend it.

    Sometimes the battles were too long and too reptitive so that's the reason I don't give it a 10 but after playing it a lot I started to enjoy battles because I trheorycrafted different teams, yes collecting blades was fun but the story is like.... soooooooooo good, yes it's hard at the beginning but wow it just becomes on par with a great anime after chapter 5.     I never was a fan of JRPG. This game changed that. The setting is awesome, the story intriding and the music absolutly fantastic. The battle system can be quite complex and sometimes the characters drift a little bit to much into anime tropes. Also the sidequest are mew most of the time. But the main story is long enough to compensate for that.

    It's not a game, it's an experience. I can't recommend this game enough. Many people are concerned by it's low resolution on both dock and handheld but I assure you, that after a few hours you will just stop paying attention to it, because the game itself is so gorgeous.

    After playing 65 hours and completed the main story, I can say that the game has a pretty good story, the music is great and the characters are charming but the whole experience has a few flaws. The side quests are a bit dull, it is easy to get lost and the combat system is slow paced.

    Sin duda uno de los mejores juegos del catálogo de la consola que sobresale en todos sus apartados. Imprescindible para quienes les gusten un mínimo los jrpgs pero también para el resto.

    Lo bueno: - El sistema de combate es complejo pero está muy bien explicado, lo que hace que los combates sean muy entretenidos y hasta satisfactorios. - Gran variedad de blades para conseguir y    Sin duda uno de los mejores juegos del catálogo de la consola que sobresale en todos sus apartados.     Vast world, beautiful story, a really big adventure. in the top 3 JRPG I've played since the first opus. It's not perfect but none of its flaws come from laziness but rather from devs' artistic/ technical choices. The final product being, something really unique, polished, with a will and a message of its own.

    A truly magnificent game, I thought that I would start off with the soundtrack since music is important and people look for a great OST. The soundtrack is just mind blowing, being one of the most important parts of the game, it captures aspects and is really reminiscent of the first game's while still maintaining its own unique qualities to make it something that is really exclusive toA truly magnificent game, I thought that I would start off with the soundtrack since music is important and people look for a great OST. The songs really are quite meaningful and aren't just a mashup thrown together just to provide some background audio, it fits the characters and all of the cutscenes that they all appear in. The characters are all interesting and probably the strongest quality of this game, all very diverse from each other but still at the same time able to complement one another in a way that is really unprecedented in a lot of other games. The development of these characters all play a part in the story and they all develop quite beautifully. The world design has always been such a strong point in the Xenoblade series and its just as strong if not stronger in this one compared to the other Xenoblade games. You really get a feel for each of the different environments its as if each of the titans have their own personality that can be represented by the terrain they all possess. You get a sense of the entire world of Alrest being these distant and divided factions of various species, races and beings while also contrasting and with the 1st game and introducing a new theme to the franchise it really is a thing to behold. To me, the story to this game is a lot more character focused compared to being more narrative based like the first game. The story is very compelling, and jaw-dropping, I thought that all of the messages that Monolithsoft incorporated into their story was very captivating and unique. One thing that I absolutely adored, and something that stuck out to me- and this is kind of going back to my point on the characters but, I just thought that it was so cool how you have all these different characters with varied personalities being able to conform as a group as all of their lives intertwine together and correlate to each other in one way or another, all while they strive for their main goal, Elysium. Now I know I just said that the story is very unique and this may sound contradictory to what I said but let me explain. There are a lot of reviews and what have you that have said that this game has a cliche story and I agree and disagree. (This is someone who holds this game in a high regard/manner I love it to the bottom of my heart) I think that these people who think this are taking some of these scenes at face-value, and are not really opening their eyes. Monolithsoft are very intelligent and innovative when it comes to story-writing they know make you think that the obvious possibility is always going to be the outcome when its the opposite, they know how to put their own unique spin on these "cliches" or "tropes" to not make them feel bland or overly used and to make them feel as if they are an original idea. I think that the premise alone kind of invalidates that argument but thats just me, and some people may not see it that way. It made me appreciate the story, characters and the developers even more and I hope that some of you will feel the same way. This is why I said that I agree and disagree. I, personally, was very invested into the games story and thought that the story was very special and that there really wasn't anything concrete to really validate the claim of it being cliche. It really just depends on who you are, how perceptive you are and if the game can captivate you enough to the point where you are thinking this critically. If you go into the game thinking negatively about it you won't give a damn about or even realize some subtle themes and meanings. Moving on, I'd like to talk specifically about the combat. Now this is coming from someone who has put over 500+ hrs in this game so take that as you will. The combat can be very convoluted at the beginning of the game and can be hard to pickup for beginners, and for the beginning of the game a lot of the battles are going to be very easy. There will be a lot of things thrown at you via tutorials but its ok because you can review them later on. As you progress through the game it becomes much more fun to fight enemies, the enemies have more HP to experiment with in terms of learning driver, blade and, fusion combos and you also begin to dabble in elemental weaknesses and learn to stack elemental orbs. The combat is very vast and deep and has quite a learning curve but the result is SO worth it. Pouch items are very useful and I suggest you use them. You begin to build affinity charts and there are many items that you can use to suit your specific play-style. Essentially the combat is very fun and if you give it a fair chance and understand it the high you get from it is so rewarding. Anyways, thanks for reading my review, PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY!… Expand

    A really nice surprise. I think I love this game, because I know it has many flaws, and still I don't care. I think the story and playability are so well integrated to satisfy a variety of audiences, that it is hard not to find something you really like. I would strongly recommend to buy it together with the expansion, so you receive some nice perks early on (I think the expansion is aA really nice surprise.     Pros:
    +The story: a classical story of heroes and love which keeps getting complex as it evolves.
    + The music: it is unbelievable how well they paired each theme with each part of the story and cutscene. You get really emotional
    + Content: a lot to be done, if you like exploration and grinding, welcome to your paradise. Many different enemies, each of which feels different
    + Combat system: it becomes increasingly complex as the game goes on, but at the very end you feel the mastery, and it is very satisfying. I realized I learned the full complexity of the battle system when I faced the final boss. You feel.. oh WOW now I know how to play this! It was such the feeling that I decided to replay the game

    Cons:

    - Performance: it is a bit laggy, there are FPS drops and clear popping in large areas. Fortunately the combat doesn't require you to make frame-perfect moves so they aren't a big issue
    - Cutscenes are too long: some cutscenes are GREAT, but some are just unnecessary and become too repetitive, especially in the mid-game.
    -Too much grinding: developing your characters to their full potential (which is by no means a requirement) requires to complete some requirements which may take a loooong time to complete

    I wanted to give it a 10 but the start is very slow, performance is far from perfect and chapter 4 sucks. Everything else is almost perfect. Must have for anyone who like JRPGs

    This game is amazing everything goes well together . from narrative to gameplay to ost its beautiful the gotta catch em all mechanic is the only reason why i hit 9 instead of 10 some are locked behind a ridiculous 0.1% chance . everything else is perfect .

    This is one of my favourite games ever. The combat mechanics might not be for everyone but i personally really enjoyed it. I only realized the depth of the combat midway through the game. The story especially is really good and I really love it, it might be not as good as Xenoblade 1s story but its still really well written. The only big downside of the game is the voice acting.     My personal favorite game of all time. It gets high reviews, but it is still underrated. The open world is incredible, Pyra is one of the best video game characters ever created, and aside from Pyra there is just such a large variety of good characters through the rare blades. Lots of catchy songs. Hundreds of hours of quality content. Don't miss!

    A JRPG pearl. Fantastic Story, beatiful world and very deep Characters. I tipical Xeno game. the battle system is the best in the whole series. I love this game. The only criticism i have, are that some animations are very strange and bad, i don‘t know why they decidet to do that, xenoblade chronicles x had mich better character animations.

    Gran juego con una gran historia, muy criticado y no ha sido valorado con lo que se merece, no es un juego para todos pero si te gustan este tipo de juegos es una pasada puedes pegarte horas y horas por los mapas que son bastante amplios. Yo incluso he repetido la historia varias veces, sin duda uno los mejores juegos de Switch.

    Hoy por hoy es el juego que más me ha gustado para switch y posiblemente en general.

    No le doy un 10 por las caídas en resolución que hay cuando combates con varios enemigos a la vez pero teniendo en cuenta el tamaño del juego y las capacidades de la switch no se puede esperar nada mejor.

    Absolutely a masterpiece. One of the best RPGs I've ever played. The characters are awesome, the designs, the graphics... Story is absolutely EPIC and OST is memorable. Great job no doubt for the best NSW game at this moment.

    Xenoblade 2 is one of the most amazing JRPGs I have ever played. Excluding the voice acting and animations during cut scenes, this game has some of the best world building i've seen in my many years of playing video games. With its amazing story, beautiful world, and well written and developed characters, this is definitely one of the few games I can consider to be a masterpiece.

    The world is huge to explore, many fearsome and even cute monsters to encounter and fight, a collection system that encourages grinding, and the best cast of characters I've come across with each one having a unique and loving soul.

    Probablemente el mejor juego de Switch, y lo siento pero le pongo un diez porque me parece una obra maestra. Juegazo que no ha tenido tanto seguimiento por parte de la prensa. Así se hace un jrpg. Gracias Monolith Soft!! :)

    Probé este juego porque me lo recomendaron y madre mía. TOP. Si sólo pudiérais jugar a un juego de switch os diría que jugárais a éste.

    Es uno de los mejores Rpg que he jugado, se tarda en coger ritmo pero una vez que empieza no puedes parar de jugarlo los personajes tienen mucha personalidad a excepción del protagonista, los combates son muy currados y la premisa del juego es muy entretenida.

    That's the game the makes you cry when you finish it. Nice combat experience with amazing history and scenarios. The beginning is a little bit overwhelming and you can feel lost on how to achieve the main history...but with time you get really addicted. One of the best switch games I've played so far.

    At the level of History it is simply a 10, it is a game that uses a lot of the cliches seen many times in the genre or even in anime of the genre "Shonnen", but even if he has that, how he handles each situation lived in the game is Incredible, with a simply Impressive character development and the story lived 500 Years ago is Perfect in every aspect, it gives us a wonderful story with incredible characters.

    Gameplay is a double-edged sword, but for me it is a 10, since although it is very complex to know how to handle it, learning to handle it is simply very comforting, also, the reward is very good, with battles that you can simply end with millions and millions of damage.

    The soundtrack is one of the best I have heard in any video game, with songs that are very well attached to the situations experienced in the game, themes that are not repetitive at all and that you can listen to for hours on a personal basis and you will never get tired.

    The game is not perfect, it has some flaws like the crystal system which is very tedious, with some flaws in the Merc-Merc, graphic flaws (mainly in the portable mode) and especially, the theme of the exaggerated Fanservice in the game. It affects the game a lot, in addition to a dubbing that is simply not up to the original voices (especially Rex's) but those few negative points are totally overshadowed by the positive points.

    On a personal level I give it a 10/10

    Con escenarios muy hermosos, soundtrack para escuchar todo el día, personajes agradables y una historia bastante buena, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 es un juego muy bueno que te deja con ganas de volver a jugarlo cuando lo acabas además de un Gameplay muy extenso y divertido

    After the Torna DLC and other expansions this game shines so bright! It’s an awesome RPG with awesome combat. Not to mention in depth leveling up system and world building with linking up with NPC’s and the blade system! The base game is awesome and the music and atmosphere is epic. I was thinking you could ride in Skells, Gundams, Artifices... whatever you want to call them but youAfter the Torna DLC and other expansions this game shines so bright!     Brillante historia, Jugabilidad impresionante y Los personajes también son geniales. Pero tiene problemas de resolución y velocidad de fotogramas en la Switch aunque nada que lo haga injugable. También creo que el estilo artístico fue un Acierto muy importante. En general, una gran elección para los fanáticos del JRPG.

    If this is what you are looking for, buy it.
    A cool and inmersive story (although too many waifus in my opinion as a mature man). Many objects, complements, weapons and everything you need to prepare your next combat. But you need time. A LOT OF TIME. I do not recommend it for ocasional players with just a few available hours per week.

    Jogo incrível, história emocionante que permite o jogador criar sentimentos pelos personagens, combate simples e ao mesmo tempo complexo, foram mais de 100hrs que me deixaram completamente preso, unica crítica que tenho e com relação a DLC torna que é claramente mais polida, creio que faltpi um caprichos a mais no jogo base pra ele ser tao belo quanto a DLC

El sistema de gatcha no me disgusto, no es tan complicado como muchos mencionan, solo hay que farmear en el lugar correcto y de la manera correcta.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Um bom jogo. Melhorou muita coisa na jogabilidade em comparação com o Xenoblade Chronicles. A ideia das blades foi bem legaUm bom jogo. Melhorou algumas coisas na jogabilidade em comparação com o Xenoblade Chronicles, embora só lá pro meio do jogo, depois de alguns upgrades, ele fica mais rápido e gostoso de batalhar.

    A ideia das blades foi bem legal, e como cada uma tem seus pontos fortes e fracos, e vários modos de combate, me motivou a querer ter todas, principalmente as super raras, que tinham personalidades, histórias e um design em sua grande parte bem legal.

    A história é um ponto forte também, tendo pontos bem originais. O que me incomodou bastante foram algumas batalhas, principalmente no começo, que a missão era derrotar o inimigo, e quando você ganhava a batalha, vinha o CG mostrando você derrotado, e os adversários totalmente bem, como se nada tivesse acontecido. Era muito frustrante você ter um batalha, que algumas vezes era até super fácil derrotá-los, e mostrar que você perdeu no final, e de lavada. Nossa, como isso me irritou. Se queria fazer um inimigo tão forte que a gente não tivesse chance, era só programar a luta pra ser impossível de ganhar. Difícil fazer isso?

    Outra coisa que me incomodou foi as side quests. Além de serem muito mais sem graça que a do Xenoblade Chronicles, são bem difíceis de serem completadas, não pela dificuldade de matar um inimigo ou coletar um item, mas principalmente pelo mapa ser muito confuso com a sua “verticalidade”, e mesmo mostrando uma ! onde fica o objetivo em muitos casos, era um saco conseguir achar o lugar certo que você precisa seguir para chegar naquele ponto.

    Resumindo, é um bom jogo, com boas ideias. Mas comparado com o Xenoblade Chronicles, que joguei anteriormente, peca em muitas coisas, e passa relativamente longe da diversão que tive no mesmo. Venham com expectativas mais baixas, se jogou o anterior e esperava algo do mesmo nível, mas ainda assim recomendo muito para quem se tornou fã do primeiro. Vai ter muitas coisas familiares aqui. E mesmo com todas as ressalvas que fiz, me diverti bastante, e investi mais de 100 horas nele.

I think the OST was better this time around, better graphics (duh, newer system), story was equally good if not better, better combat system and more memorable characters. I absolutely loved it and I hope you will too (it doesn'tFor years, I had stated that Xenoblade Chronicles 1 was my favorite game of all time.
