Bush Rescue is a hard game to fully recommend, especially at its high price-tag. Those looking for a sweet hit of nostalgia won’t be disappointed – this is an excellent port and runs smoothly in handheld and docked modes – but anyone expecting a hidden gem will only find a title with a rough edge too many.

I loved the original ty the Tasmanian tiger, infact the hd release of the original made my top 25 games of 2020 list.. so needless to say I was excited to hop into the sequel.. and this is one of the most disappointing sequels of all time… instead of inspired collectathon 3d platofmring, ty the tsmanian tiger 2 is more action, 3rd person shooter feeling….because of course it is.. its from the year 2004, theres also a dash of crt racing thrown in there.. I was so excited to explore new levels, find collectables, and experience some 3D platofmring joy again, and then im just thrown into this bare bones feeling jak 2 knock off… looing back, players at the time loved it… but really it didn’t take much to impress in 2004, if you have an open world, game of the year..
Gamers bak then thought the original halo was a good game.
I modern superken in 2021 was bored out of my mind from start to finish of this 7 hour long game… youre basically running to spots on a map, just to press buttons, or do an annoying helicopter sequence.. or run some sandwiches and sunscreen to a beach… ocassionally getting into a mech or running through a floaty feeling platforming section, collecting orbs to unlock new boomerangs to just unlock new missions and solve more problems for everyone else…
problems that again, aren’t even fun to solve..
I went into this game with high hopes, but I just knew from the beginning sequence that TY 2 was going to be one of those soulless games chasing whatever the thing was at the time…
and this is what we get…
It wants to be Jak, it wants to be mario, it wants to be Mario kart… and doesn’t even have a sliver of the personality those games have.
    I give
TY THE TASMANIAN TIGER 2: BUSH RESCUE HD
    a 4/10
