    So this is a very short review, but since the developer doesn't have enough respect for players or the source material to include a core part of the original experience, I'm going to show them as much respect in return.

    Good game but missing the multiplayer aspect (which was some of the most fun in the game)

    Man this game is a mixed bag... Some parts, stood the test of time and some aged horribly. Graphics are what they are, it's an early 3D gameMan this game is a mixed bag... I enjoy increased resolution, extended draw distance and FOV which makes the game much more playable. Also refreshed controls are a welcome addition. Shooting is very enjoyable, this is the part that endured the flow of time. Movement is fluid, guns are punchy (enhanced by the HD rumble) and enemies spill a ton of blood. Gyro controls are on point (I suggest cranking them to maximum). But the thing that threw me off was exploration... Man those levels are convoluted! It's very easy to miss objectives and map is not very helpful. Online guides help, but I rather spend time playing the game, than studying them. So unfortunately I stopped playing at the end of level 2 and moved over to another game. If I was a kid back in the 90's it would probably be one of 2 or 3 games my mom bought me this year and I would play the crap out of it. But I'm an adult, I have all the money in the world to buy whatever games i want, but little time to play them. So I would rather spend this precious time progressing the story, than running the same corridor for the 5th time, while studying maps and YouTube walkthroughs. Sorry Turok... you are not an experience suited for me. Still I think this is a very good remaster and consider my brief experience with the game quite enjoyable. For a discounted price of 9$ I got equivalent of two or three evenings of good old boomer shooter vibes.… Full Review »
