    I'm not really into tactical RPGs, but I still love this game. The story is extremely enthralling and the characters are well written. The music is amazing as well. If this wasn't a tactical RPG, it would be one of my favorite games of all time.

    Fire Emblem but with a slightly more mature story. It's still full of cliches and certain small things are annoying, like the three dots slowly appearing on screen during conversations to show some weird Japanese "im in deep thoughts / i'm surprised" emotion, that gets shown way too often and animates way too slow and is not skipable with buttons. But those are minor things. Battle is fun,Fire Emblem but with a slightly more mature story.     This game is epic its the best game I've played on switch it's right up there with breath of the wild for me . Sad thing is hardly anyone will have the patience to play it

    I don't rate games often- only when I adore them so much I feel like shouting from the rooftops, or hate them so much I need to vent. Triangle Strategy has turned out to be quite the hidden gem. It's way better than Octopath Traveler or Bravely Default 2. The gameplay is immaculate.  The story and characters and dialog is gripping and enthralling. Chapters 1-3 start off a bit slow, as itI don't rate games often- only when I adore them so much I feel like shouting from the rooftops, or hate them so much I need to vent. Triangle Strategy has turned out to be quite the hidden gem. It's way better than Octopath Traveler or Bravely Default 2. The gameplay is immaculate.  The story and characters and dialog is gripping and enthralling. Chapters 1-3 start off a bit slow, as it properly sets the table for what's to come. Then it pops off in Chapter 4, and it's full tilt from there on out! I haven't felt this enamored with an srpg in years. Probably since Fire Emblem Awakening. It's SO GOOD!!! It's so dang good. I daydream about playing this game at work. That's how addicted I am. And it hits hard. The game isn't afraid to embrace gritty war and death. Not like those games that are too afraid to let characters die. I HIGHLY recommend this game. I'm giving it the full 10/10. Games like this are extremely rare.… Expand

    This is coming from a person that hasn't completed a single Strategy game:

    The story and the llite the characters give almost always has me speculating one what they will do next. The "Scales of Conviction" leading the story to different paths is such an amazing concept, which makes this game have tons of replayability. I love the battle system in this game even tho it plays much like other strategy games the fact that every single character regardless if they are support, Damage, or healers, they all of different ways of going about their assigned tasks.

    Music is a huge part in my decision of getting a game and this OST is off the charts especially the lyrical version of the main theme for this game.

    - Amazing Tactical RPG.
    - Great Number of characters.
    - More than one ending and your choices along the road DO matter.
    - easy to level up your characters.
    - Great abilities each character is truly unique in their own way.
    - all characters have personality with side story
    Pretty sure Fire emblem fans will love it.
    The Conviction and voting system is fun.
    Voice acting is spot on

    Among the greatest turn-based tactics games ever in my opinion. Beautifully detailed graphics, great camera control and an intricate storyline fully voiced!

    Game far exceeded my expectations for something close to Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactic Ogre. I'm not saying it's better than those, but I have to absolutely celebrate the human grounded story and characters that oh so remind me of those amazing tactical games of yesterday, someone finally got it right. I enjoy the combat and quips a lot as well. Immerse yourself in this game and it'sGame far exceeded my expectations for something close to Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactic Ogre.     What a wonderful story-driven game. If you like books, you don‘t shy away from medieval themes and you always wanted to be able to influence the story, this game is for you. I enjoyed the round-based tactics, the rpg elements just as much as I did the very good plot. Hope there is a successor in the works - well done, developers!

    This game is unbelievably so good that it will keep you glued to the story & lure of the events unfolding throughout your playthrough.. plus they've likeble characters in the game.

    Get ready for some love, twist, betrayal, loyalty, friendship, hope and war.

    The game is amazing. Story wise is very good and it has so many different paths you can take ( the game has 4 different endings ). it is probably the most interesting and good srpg out there both storywise and gameplay . Hope the make another title like that !

    Un juego para los amantes de los JRPG tacticos por turnos, si es eso lo que buscas, estas de enhorabuena. Todas as decisiones que tomes en este juego seran esenciales para el devenir de la aventura. La banda sonora es otro factor clave en esta obra, te va a dejar con la boca abierta. ¡A disfrutar!

    Una obra visual, narrativa y jugablemente encantadora. Su historia, aunque densa es genial. Sin duda, se posiciona entre lo mejor del género de este año y la última década, junto a Octopah Traveler los nuevos clásicos.

    Excellent gameplay with great story. The games allows a lot of choices with multiple different outcomes for replays. The story reminded me of game of thrones and gameplay was top tier. Any tactics fans need to play this.

    This game is really needs the strategy, can’t simply play and win. I played the fire emblem and SRW before, it is very easy to win.

    Nice game loop, great narrative its makes you engaged with the history. Levels are perfectly designed. Highly replayeable to complete all history lines. Another 10 turn based RPG strategy game from Square Enix.

    if you like RPG stories, this game is for you, yes this game had a very long story and i really mean that, the artstyle is also great, and the combat is so much fun, overall it seems that Square Enix really did a good job with this game

    Triangle Strategy is an excellent tactical strategy game. Drawing on the liniage of tactics ogre and final fantasy tactics, triangle strategy has a great story, challenging battles and intriguing characters. Where the game differs from the classics is where the game truly shines. The game is seperated into three parts, exploration, story and battle. In the exploratory section, you lookTriangle Strategy is an excellent tactical strategy game. Drawing on the liniage of tactics ogre and final fantasy tactics, triangle strategy has a great story, challenging battles and intriguing characters. Where the game differs from the classics is where the game truly shines. The game is seperated into three parts, exploration, story and battle. In the exploratory section, you look around a small area to talk to people and look for hidden items, depending on who you talk to and in what order, you can gather hidden information to be used in later desicions. After certain points in the game you will be faced with a decision. Here you will have to choose which one to make, and convince you advisors to agree. You make your arguments with any hidden knowledge you gained through you explosion, an take into account how your advisors think. Benedict is a very utilitarian and logical man, while Fredericka wants whatever brings less war and safety to the people of the people in the kingdom. You choices have significant impact on your war effort and the characters in your party. Triangle strategy may not be for everyone, but it is one of the best strategy RPGs in a long time.… Expand

    This game is criminally underrated. Review score should’ve at least been a 90 minimum. Great visuals. Amazing gameplay. Amazing characters and story paths. Amazing music. As a huge fire emblem fan I must say this is probably the best SRPG game you can get on switch.

The gameplay is way more fun than Pokémon ever will be, the game is rated T which I can play it in public without getting made fun of (unlike other Nintendo games). The story, my goodness the story, it hits hard as *slams desk*. I love final fantasy so this was very at home for me. Square Enix is THE rpg company anywho.     Im now in for about 8h and i really enjoy the game so far. Ofc. the long cutscenes are not always that interesting. Charcters have really unique skills and the story is rather interessting. Also the music is top-notch

    A great title that manages to tell a gripping political thriller while entertaining you with great tactical battles that are simple at the core but offer a wide range of possibilities. A great, slow, relaxing game to keep your brain occupied. [Issue#319]

    The adventures through the Kingdom of Glenbrook provide a compelling experience, more so for those who love choice-based games that involve intriguing plots and tactical combat. Triangle Strategy is one of the few games where making decisions that matter is harder than actually winning battles. This is one of those games that could leave a mark on an entire gerne if Square Enix decides to turn it into a franchise.

    Story battles take about 20 minutes, while dialogue, inventory management, practice fights and everything else that takes place in-between them can take up to two hours. Nevertheless, the quality of story battles makes up for the wait because they offer a lot of variety, and every problem can be solved in a multitude of ways. [Issue#260, p.44]
