    This game is not for people who loves shooting/fighting all the time. This is a game for thinking and decision making. Good game to enjoy your afternoon with a cozy sofa and cup of tea.

    This game is epic its the best game I've played on switch it's right up there with breath of the wild for me . Sad thing is hardly anyone will have the patience to play it

    This is coming from a person that hasn't completed a single Strategy game:

    The story and the llite the characters give almost always has me speculating one what they will do next. The "Scales of Conviction" leading the story to different paths is such an amazing concept, which makes this game have tons of replayability. I love the battle system in this game even tho it plays much like other strategy games the fact that every single character regardless if they are support, Damage, or healers, they all of different ways of going about their assigned tasks.

    Music is a huge part in my decision of getting a game and this OST is off the charts especially the lyrical version of the main theme for this game.

    For the story, the game is really interesting. Most of the time, the politics displayed is "simple" but for its simplicity, it speaks about hard topics (slavery, war, the weight of principles vs the risk to life) and all is based around 3 values: ethics, pragmatism, and freedom. I really like the idea that the game pushes me to ask myself: will I push freedom or ethics? will i go ethicsFor the story, the game is really interesting. I really like the idea that the game pushes me to ask myself: will I push freedom or ethics? will i go ethics and failure, or pragmatism and success? Should I push my ethics if it doesn't go with freedom? is freedom interesting if it means sacrificing my ethics? Should i fight enslavment for the sake of freedom, or aim to win and then handle the dark means i used to win?

    Gameplay: the game is quite good but hard. Many situations have you on the "losing" side; enemies may have a bit of an advantage, and it's only using a "good" play you can compensate. Battles are often not lost when you lose some units, but lose too much and you will never win. So it's a little line on which one walk.
    I have felt the grind a bit, but it was very fun because it brings gold and materials you use to improve your weapons.

    Units have skills to improve and then "rank"; rank give them access to new skills, and weapins improvement allow you to do more with the skills you have already for all skills, or rarely, one specifics skill.    … Expand

    Even though Tactics Ogre will be reborn to Switch, I still see Triangle Strategy as the spiritual successor to Tactics Ogre with modernized graphics, fully voice acted characters, scale of conviction to influence story arc, same beautiful art works on sprites and illustrations. Only thing missing is the recruitment of custom characters and customizing stats, however all the availableEven though Tactics Ogre will be reborn to Switch, I still see Triangle Strategy as the spiritual successor to Tactics Ogre with modernized graphics, fully voice acted characters, scale of conviction to influence story arc, same beautiful art works on sprites and illustrations. Only thing missing is the recruitment of custom characters and customizing stats, however all the available allied characters in the game have their own specialties and statistical focus that they can own certain roles in the battle and you can have up to 12 units in there doing their own thing to help achieve victory.… Expand

    Game far exceeded my expectations for something close to Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactic Ogre. I'm not saying it's better than those, but I have to absolutely celebrate the human grounded story and characters that oh so remind me of those amazing tactical games of yesterday, someone finally got it right. I enjoy the combat and quips a lot as well. Immerse yourself in this game and it'sGame far exceeded my expectations for something close to Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactic Ogre.     A true treat for fans of the tactical rpg genre. The story is what has surprised me the most, it's been very engrossing and while the cutscenes can be long i haven't minded it at all. The voice acting is average, the music is catchy and fits the drama unfolding on screen. The battle system is obviously where the game shines brightest and anyone familiar with grid based combat will be rightA true treat for fans of the tactical rpg genre. The story is what has surprised me the most, it's been very engrossing and while the cutscenes can be long i haven't minded it at all. The voice acting is average, the music is catchy and fits the drama unfolding on screen. The battle system is obviously where the game shines brightest and anyone familiar with grid based combat will be right at home. Triangle Strategy clearly took inspiration from multitudes of SRPGs/JRPGs, such as; Fire emblem series, FF, SF etc. Although Triangle strategy took inspiration from these games, it failed to create something new that sets it above the rest, therefore it is nothing unique, though the progression of the cast's relationships makes up for it, you'll clearly see Serenoa and his retainers' character growth, which will immerse you to the story, leading for you to always look forward to the next chapter. It may be slow at first, but the pacing will get better as you progress. Also, the story has alot of plot twist, so look forward to that.… Expand

    Either you love the story or you don’t. I find it fascinating, and I’ve really grown attached to some KD the characters. Tactics style gameplay is really good, and some battles can be quite long and complicated.

    Unit progression is interesting and cool, and I’m glad they update the character sprites as you rank them up. That’s always fun. All in all I think the game is a blast. Ofrece una dificultad variable para adaptarse a todos los estilos de juego, una historia entretenida, un apartado artístico maravilloso, unos gráficos de 10, un apartado musical que es una maravilla. La pega es que no viene doblado al castellano y en juegos tan narrativos me parece un grave problema. ElMe está pareciendo un autentico juegarral, una joyita de esas ocultas que salen al año.     I got the Tactician's Edition because I knew this was the game for me. There's a lot of text and, unfortunately, some of it is difficult for me to read sometimes. I really hope SE address this somehow because it's definitely taking away the enjoyment for me. The battle parts are very enjoyable but there not enough of them. The graphics and the music are top notch.

    I don't rate games often- only when I adore them so much I feel like shouting from the rooftops, or hate them so much I need to vent. Triangle Strategy has turned out to be quite the hidden gem. It's way better than Octopath Traveler or Bravely Default 2. The gameplay is immaculate.  The story and characters and dialog is gripping and enthralling. Then it pops off in Chapter 4, and it's full tilt from there on out! I haven't felt this enamored with an srpg in years. Probably since Fire Emblem Awakening. It's SO GOOD!!! It's so dang good. I daydream about playing this game at work. That's how addicted I am. And it hits hard. The game isn't afraid to embrace gritty war and death. Not like those games that are too afraid to let characters die. I HIGHLY recommend this game. I'm giving it the full 10/10. Games like this are extremely rare.… Expand

    playing it I have some nostalgic moments that reminded me of final fantasy tactic, but the more I play it the more I see a completely different game to final fantasy tactic and that's what makes it all triangle strategy a unique game

It's still full of cliches and certain small things are annoying, like the three dots slowly appearing on screen during conversations to show some weird Japanese "im in deep thoughts / i'm surprised" emotion, that gets shown way too often and animates way too slow and is not skipable with buttons. But those are minor things. Battle is fun,Fire Emblem but with a slightly more mature story.     I especially love the conviction and voting system. This might be the first game in which it truly feels like EVERY minor gameplay decision actually affects my experience later on. It's frustrating when I can't convince certain characters to go with my choice, but that's a great thing; all of the characters you meet have distinct personalities and motivations, and the game really lets them shine. Some voice actors aren't great (though some of them are excellent, and I appreciate the full voice acting!), and the decision to use medieval vocabulary and spellings feels rather silly sometimes, but it doesn't detract that much from my overall experience.

    Overall, this game is an instant classic for me, and I look forward to future entries for this type of strategy RPG.    … Expand

In the exploratory section, you look around a small area to talk to people and look for hidden items, depending on who you talk to and in what order, you can gather hidden information to be used in later desicions. After certain points in the game you will be faced with a decision. Here you will have to choose which one to make, and convince you advisors to agree. You make your arguments with any hidden knowledge you gained through you explosion, an take into account how your advisors think. Benedict is a very utilitarian and logical man, while Fredericka wants whatever brings less war and safety to the people of the people in the kingdom. You choices have significant impact on your war effort and the characters in your party. Triangle strategy may not be for everyone, but it is one of the best strategy RPGs in a long time.… Expand

    I'm not really into tactical RPGs, but I still love this game. The story is extremely enthralling and the characters are well written. The music is amazing as well. If this wasn't a tactical RPG, it would be one of my favorite games of all time.

    For the SRPG sub-genre, Triangle Strategy doesn't do anything that special and doesn't go out of it's way to try and reinvent the genre. But it's a competently done game that includes multiple story routes, that gives a lot of replayability. The combat is fairly basic but does well enough to carry the game. There is a tad bit of grinding on normal difficulty but never went any further thenFor the SRPG sub-genre, Triangle Strategy doesn't do anything that special and doesn't go out of it's way to try and reinvent the genre.     Awful (and I mean AWFUL) voice acting. The dialogue and exposition is so clumsy. The progression system feels very restrictive. The economy of the game feels very unbalanced. It does not look nearly as good as Octopath Traveler

    Thoughts-
    Taken as a whole though, Triangle Strategy is an absolute triumph, to a greater degree than I could have ever expected, and in more ways than I could have ever expected. Not only is it a solid tactics RPG that should appeal to any and all genre fans, especially those that still look back fondly on Final Fantasy Tactics, it’s also got an engaging, ambitious, and layered story to tell, backed up by incredible world-building and interesting choices with actual weight and consequences. For all of these reasons and more, Triangle Strategy is easily one of the best tactics RPGs I’ve played in recent memory.    … Expand

    If I had to sum this game up in three words it would be "THIS IS AWESOME" I highly recommend this game if you like final fantasy tactics or Fire Emblem 3 houses.
    Get it asap cause like Octopath I'm sure this is a limited release. I wanna give this game a 10 but I only dislike the class system but love it at the same time.

    Easy. If you like the genre and don't have anything against visual novels, just buy it. But be aware of the amount of text you are gonna get. It's something similar to 13 Sentinels in terms of text/gameplay proportion.
    And I love both.

    Phenomenal game with a great story line and so many political layers built on top that add suspense, excitement and surprise. The conviction mechanic is great and you have an affinity for the characters. Its very much like Game of Thrones. The battles themselves are absorbing.

    What a wonderful story-driven game. If you like books, you don‘t shy away from medieval themes and you always wanted to be able to influence the story, this game is for you. I enjoyed the round-based tactics, the rpg elements just as much as I did the very good plot. Hope there is a successor in the works - well done, developers!

The visuals are amazing overall and utilize 2D sprites within pixelated 3D environments, creating a very unique style not often seen. The music is of a similar stellar quality, with many memorable themes and motifs throughout. Gameplay is accessible but also contains much depth, with a variety of strategies beingA very competent and well made strategy RPG with a focus on narrative.     Excellent gameplay with great story. The games allows a lot of choices with multiple different outcomes for replays. The story reminded me of game of thrones and gameplay was top tier. Any tactics fans need to play this.

    One of my favorite tactical/strategy games that's out for the switch, alongside Fire Emblem Three Houses. One of my only main issues is the inconsistent quality on the English voice acting. Some may get turned off by the long and exposition heavy cutscenes especially at the beginning, but I've personally enjoyed them.

    If you enjoyed Shining Force, Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, you’ll enjoy this. Did you enjoy Octopath Traveler? You’ll definitely enjoy this as well. If you were able to get the Collectors Edition, you snag a very nice set. Looking to enjoy this for the next 50 hours or so.

    +Good visuals and sound effects. I wish I could see character portraits during dialogue as I think it would express the characters' personality better.
    +/- The game is very text and dalogue-heavy, which means your enjoyment will depend on this type of content. I personally found the style of writing to be too flowery and lengthy, which made every character sound like an 19th century count.
    -The delivery of the dialogue by the voice actors is pretty underwhelming in English. I ended up switching it off.
    +/- The game has about a dozen key choice moments, which lead to branching paths. In practice they are more like detours that inevitably return back to a shared plot point. I'm a bit mixed on this. On the one hand, I enjoy the player agency, but sometimes it also just contrives there to be a dilemma, when you could solve one problem and then the other.
    -The characters are a bit bland. One of the things I enjoy about Fire Emblem games is that it has a heterogeneous character cast. Usually there will be at least 1 character whose personality you like and least 1 character you find utterly insufferable. In Triangle Strategy, most characters come across as the moralistic, straight-laced type and the few comedic moments in the game usually do not land well for this reason.

    All that said I think this is a good strategy title, although the price tag is a bit high.    … Expand

Something as small as not helping a certain character at one point can have them turn on you quite dramatically later on.

    Combat plays out like Fire Emblem, but without the constant worry of permadeath that the aforementioned series is known for. The array of unit types is wide enough to keep combat interesting and engaging for a long period of time. I've currently played the game for around thirty five hours and reached chapter thirteen.

    At times you really must act with caution when considering unit placement and terrain. These become key components to securing victory, as you're oftentimes outnumbered.

    For me however, one of the game's most interesting mechanics is its voting system.

    As a young lord within a kingdom, you don't make single-handed decisions. You defer to your closest friends and allies for guidance. From there, two or three choices are given to you on how to tackle a specific situation. You then vote on it, and the majority decision is put into action. This doesn't mean you aren't free to negotiate with your friends and comrades, however. You're given the means to talk them around to your way of thinking should you wish to pursue a certain path.

    My only gripe with this game, and it may just be a personal thing, is the difficulty of one or two levels. A couple of them feel a touch unfair. A few enemies have moves which can be easily abused, all while your cast of characters are left ill-equipped to deal with them due to situational reasons.

    All in all though, Triangle Strategy is a must try for those of you who like tactical RPG's and enjoy deeply engaging storytelling. I'd give it a solid 8.5 if that were an option, while deducting just a small amount from what would've been an overall score of 9 if not for the slight issues with combat I just mentioned.    … Expand

I initially thought this conviction testing mechanic would just be a simple means of unfolding the story a certain way, but rather it's a situation that makes you question some of your own values and weigh the possible outcomes between the one choice or another. It wasn't something I expected to have such a profound effect on how the game is played and how the events of the story unfold. I gotta hand it to the writers of the story, who put a lot of thought and care into developing a 3rd dimensional world with several 3rd dimensional characters portrayed in HD-2D.

    As tactical RPGs go, it's one of my favorite non-Fire Emblem games. I still prefer Fire Emblem: Three Houses for Switch tactical RPGs for its variety of gameplay options and more colorful cast, but Triangle Strategy has plenty of charm and things going for it that it's definitely worth getting. There's a ton of characters to recruit, a lot of story to unravel, and the writing style is one of my all time favorites in a medieval age setting. This is a recommended game for anyone who enjoys a deep, thought provoking story where your decisions actually matter.    … Expand

    This is essentially a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics in the same way that Bravely Default is a spiritual successor to the Final Fantasy series. Really good game. If you liked Final Fantasy Tactics you will like this too.

Some people didn't like this, I found it appealing because each exploration phases has items littered around the map that grant pretty good abilities during battles.     The class and upgrade system are also pretty bare bones when you compare them to older titles like FF tactics. There is very little offered for customizing your characters. There are no optional sub classes or ways to customize your character. There is no talent trees or inventory system. Instead its just a basic upgrade and promotion system that will end up the same for 99% of players.

    The story is somewhat interesting, but again, there is a bunch of pacing issues that can make it feel like a slog at times.

    Overall an enjoyable strategy game, but its just so odd to me that no tactics game has managed to come close to FF tactics or Tactics ogre after all these years. How are class system, side missions, and inventory options less robust than games that came out over two decades ago?    … Expand

    Voy a empezar con el que es sin duda el punto más sobresaliente del juego: la historia y personajes. Lo primero es aclarar que este es un juego que se aleja de los típicos cliches, los personajes no se sienten como un "corta y pega" de estereotipos que hemos visto cientos de veces, si no que se sienten muy humanos y reales, estando realmente conseguidos para los tipos de mentalidad que se podrían esperar de un mundo medieval como el que transcurre el juego, y la evolución especialmente de los protagonistas por las distintas rutas es soberbia. La historia en general es también de aplaudir: el conflicto que se desencadena a lo largo de todo el juego no tiene nada que ver con grandilocuentes dragones ni semidioses, si no con el efecto del comercio y la política que acaba desencadenando en una espiral de destrucción como es una guerra, con gran cantidad de intrigas por parte de prácticamente todo santo personaje que aparezca ante tí. Los diferentes desenlaces son increíblemente buenos, aunque en este punto he de decir que los combates finales de cada ruta son muy originales como misiones finales, debido al realismo pierden un poco de epicidad, faltándole esa sensación de "climax" que solemos sentir al enfrentarnos al reto final de un juego (excepto en el final "verdadero").

    Ahora los contras principales. No voy a poner el "hay mucha historia" porque no me parece un contra en absoluto (es una caracteristica de un juego CENTRADO en la historia). Sin embargo, la manera en la que ha sido llevada el New Game Plus si que me parece un contra. En una segunda partida, conservas todos los niveles que has obtenido en la primera, pero todos los combates van escalando a niveles posteriores (si la misión final de la primera partida esta en torno al nivel 25, la primera misión de la segunda partida empieza al 26). Esto es correcto para mantener el entusiasmo del jugador y poder utilizar las habilidades de sus personajes al máximo, pero sin embargo, a partir de la 3º partida se vuelve un autentico coñazo (y el juego tiene 4 finales...), ya que habremos alcanzado el nivel máximo y ya no hay progresión solo repetición (lo que me hizo cambiar el juego a "Fácil"). Otro problema de esto, es que seguramente en la segunda partida elijamos opciones contrarias en las bifurcaciones de las rutas, lo que nos llevara a ver situaciones y misiones nuevas, pero a partir de la 3º partida esto se reduce al mínimo, y estaremos también saltando escenas como un robot para llegar a las partes que nos interesan. Un sistema que nos permitiera saltar a momentos temporales y cambiar nuestras opciones, en lugar de comenzar el juego de 0, hubiera eliminado todo el tedio derivado de esto.

    En segundo lugar, y mas secundario quizás, esta el hecho de que el comienzo del juego es realmente malo. Lo que quiero decir es que tardaremos seguramente entre 3 y 4 horas a comenzar a tener batallas interesantes, ya que las batallas de tutorial donde te enseñan a jugar están repartidas en los primeros capítulos, separadas por una gran cantidad de historia, y esto si que me parece un error. Hubiera sido más conveniente en el primer capitulo tener una serie de batallas cortas seguidas donde se te enseñaran todas las mecánicas, y ya a partir del capitulo 2 disfrutar de batallas estimulantes, ya que este impacto inicial de solo historia y tutoriales tirara a muchos atrás.    … Expand

    A very solid T-RPG. While the evolution mechanics could have been more encouraging and less of a grind, the story tellling and the choice system are high level. The 2D HD graphics are made for this genre and the musics are what SquareEnix got us used to.     If you were ever a fan of Final Fantasy Tactics, give this one a go. It lives up to that legacy and even exceeds it. You have real choices here that impact the story in ways you can't predict. I got one of the endings and, woooah boy, they went all the way. Much respect for that.

    This game is criminally underrated. Review score should’ve at least been a 90 minimum. Great visuals. Amazing gameplay. Amazing characters and story paths. Amazing music. As a huge fire emblem fan I must say this is probably the best SRPG game you can get on switch.

    Im now in for about 8h and i really enjoy the game so far. Ofc. the long cutscenes are not always that interesting. Charcters have really unique skills and the story is rather interessting. Also the music is top-notch

    Note that the game has a heavy visual front load - the first 5 hours had 2 small battles. After that the game has a much better balance and some great tactics game play.

    If you enjoyed Fire Emblem you'll like this one.

    Units personalization feels a little grindy since there are not many battles on story,so the game give a strategy tutorials/grind opcional battles which are good but affects the way the game balance the money and items,the story focused players will not be able to build their units without losing all their money,is not completely bad coz that give accessibility in a original way and game knows it and give a decent amount of money on exploration,so, definitely could be better but isn't that bad,got a purpose
    Camera isn't intuitive coz this weird 2D characters on 3D scenarios,i can understand why but definitely could be better

    Absolutely stunning set of unique characters. There is no chance you will see them in one playthrough. Combine this with lots of choices along the story and you will get one of the most replayable games of this genre.

    Revisit the game, turns out I like the it and it's a pretty decent game.

    Just want to point out that all I like about the game is the story which remind me a lot of Game of Thrones. Which at some point it's becoming way too obvious and I like that. But of course the world and the plot of Triangle Strategy is not as big as GOT.     Just want to point out that all I like about the game is the story which remind me a lot of Game of Thrones. Which at some point it's becoming way too obvious and I like that. But of course the world and the plot of Triangle Strategy is not as big as GOT.

    The decision making feature is also a great one where the decision you make will alter how you view and going through the game. Near the end of the game, I'm being forced to cut ties with one of my allies because of differences in how we view the next step to survive/ winning the battle. It's completely creating a dilemma but with the end of the chapter, I completely convince right away, without consulting with anyone within the roster as I will get rid of Roland. His proposition is completely insane, a desperate and coward kind of move from him.

    If you like a narrative driven game, this game is completely one of the best out there. Gameplay wise, I don't really like tactics but I manage to finish the game on Easy. The normal difficulty is just so hard for me.

    Note: >60% of your time playing this game will be all about watching cutscene and interacting with characters which is why this game is lacking in terms of gameplay. The exploration also sucks, the world is so small despite the presentation of Norzelia which seems big.    … Expand

Y por ultimo la grandiosa incorporación de tomas de decisiones, en la que cada decisión que tomes tendrán peso "REAL" en historia y desembocara en 4 posibles finales (uno el verdadero pospuesto).Realmente provocara que te rasques la cabeza mas de una vez y te carcomas por dentro al pensar cual es la mejor decisión para llegar a donde quieres. A todo esto le agregamos unos diseños y gráficos en 16 bit hermoso y que tiene un encanto increíble que va perfectamente para lo ofrece este juego.
    Cabe agregar que si no sos alguien que le guste leer ,tomarse su tiempo con el juego, explorar y analizar la historia y eres mas de los que que les gusta ir directo a la acción y la batallas el juego te parecerá muy lento y a lo sumo complejo y denso, pero es un titulo que realmente vale la pena darle una oportunidad.

    Very good game, and I really enjoyed my time with it. The story has choices and those choices do have small ramifications but they do not seem to great affect the overall outcome of the game. The combat was good but the leveling up was too slow.

    If you like the gameplay of Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, FF Tactics, and Tactics Ogre and the artstyle of Octopath Traveller, this is practically a must buy, the price is a bit high though, if it was 40€ I'd give it a 10

I've played many other RPGs, both western and japanese with much worse stories and endless repetitive battles that somehow get praised for both. This game's story is high up there. The quality of the story also picks up as the game progresses where the player is presented with many morally ambiguous situations.

    Same goes for the battle system. Certainly could be more complex but every character has a distinct and unique role. Plus, the battles are curated, which means you don't have to grind endlessly. Story and character development also often occurs during the battles which is a nice touch.

    Together it creates a unique and adult-enough package which is contrary to a lot of other games that often get high scores now: meaningless lore building in drab worlds and little sense of mystery and imagination or games that are focused on annoying, unrealistic characters of high school motivations.    … Expand

    Fantastic game. A little slow for some, with lots of dialogue and lore, but with excellent battle and development systems, a nicely crafted story with beautiful graphics and lush audio design and soundtrack.

    Definitely something that you should get if you are a fan of Fire Emblem style games. It has a phenomenal story and interesting gameplay mechanics. It is very heavy on cutscenes, although many of them are optional. Fantastic music and memorable characters, but the voice acting is somewhat hit or miss. I'd say that the voice acting for most characters is actually very good especially theDefinitely something that you should get if you are a fan of Fire Emblem style games. It has a phenomenal story and interesting gameplay mechanics. It is very heavy on cutscenes, although many of them are optional. Fantastic music and memorable characters, but the voice acting is somewhat hit or miss. I'd say that the voice acting for most characters is actually very good especially the side characters, but mediocre performances from one or two of the main cast brings it down somewhat. Still, that's a very small detail in an otherwise great game. The only real complaint that I have is that I dislike the way that they handled new game plus. They made it so that characters start again at the level they were at when you finished the last playthrough. Enemies are also scaled up to these levels. The story is set up in a way that if you want to fully experience all of the routes, you have to play through the game multiple times. Naturally, your first instinct is to start a new run on new game plus. But I actually prefer to just start a brand new save file. This allows you to use characters that you didn't use on previous runs without them being so underleveled that you would have to spend a lot of time training them up to where they need to be. The difficulty spike even on just the first level of new game plus is also way too much. But this problem can be avoided just by starting a new game, so I still feel that this game is deserving of a 10.… Expand

    Since I saw its cover, this game already caught me completely. A mature, serious, entertaining, captivating adventure that corners you with its triangular approach where you have to decide and it's difficult to do so, game mechanics that meet your expectations of strategy, and a very pleasant decent musical and graphic setting, to have a good time. Highly recommended.

    A great title that manages to tell a gripping political thriller while entertaining you with great tactical battles that are simple at the core but offer a wide range of possibilities. A great, slow, relaxing game to keep your brain occupied. [Issue#319]

    The adventures through the Kingdom of Glenbrook provide a compelling experience, more so for those who love choice-based games that involve intriguing plots and tactical combat. Triangle Strategy is one of the few games where making decisions that matter is harder than actually winning battles. This is one of those games that could leave a mark on an entire gerne if Square Enix decides to turn it into a franchise.

    Story battles take about 20 minutes, while dialogue, inventory management, practice fights and everything else that takes place in-between them can take up to two hours. Nevertheless, the quality of story battles makes up for the wait because they offer a lot of variety, and every problem can be solved in a multitude of ways. [Issue#260, p.44]
